Jonathan, Do you have any idea what percentage of new Mazda owners activate the Mazda Connected Services? This is an incredible feature that I would hate to think people are missing out on. Today I picked up carry out dinner. I apparently left the trunk open when rushing inside with all the bags (why a family of four now needs three bags of carry out food when they used to get buy with one is another story) During dinner, my car notified me that the trunk was open. I closed it - no drama. Without the app, the battery might have been dead in the morning, an animal might have taken shelter for the night in the trunk, it might have rained and the trunk could have smelled for weeks. I am extremally grateful for the MyMazda app.

I’m noticing the app shows vehicle status , but it’s showing the status from over 12+ hours ago. I’ve tried refreshing and nothing. I texted Mazda directly and did what they suggested , refresh the app , delete app , reinstall , etc. NO CHANGE. Have you heard of this issue and any suggestions ?? Thanks !
Hi. I have a CX 30 2020 and I still can’t figure out how to listen to Pandora, I have an android. I have the Mazda app all registered but when I go to pair it, I can’t get the code to enter it. Am I supposed to be using Bluetooth or Something else? Help. Also, are your side mirrors automatic? My sticker said power side mirrors but I can’t determine if it is. Seems really hard to move them manually. Mine is Select model Thanks
@Rebecca Bannister I don't recall having to turn on wifi or Bluetooth, but i might have since I had to be in the car when I downloaded the app. You have to have your phone read the VIN of the car however. I think I did it from the sticker on the driver's door frame. Good luck. It's a good app (I hope Mazda keeps it free of charge). Helps me track my car at any time, I can shut it off remotely. Also tells me when the doors are locked or unlocked.

Love my Mazda but one thing that drives me crazy is that you can remote start the vehicle but as soon as you open the door, the engine shuts off. I understand this is a feature but it is a very dumb feature.

I’m living in Romania and I own a 2021 (produced in February) and doesn’t have a lot of features than other Mazda have available in civilized countries like Connected services. Funny enough models sold in 2022 but produced in the last part of 2021 have connected services without remote start capability due to European laws. What is very odd is that Mazda Romania is lack on giving information about further upgrades like capability to have connected services on my model, upgrade from none-Bose sound system to Bose and etc. On my side the model that I own is called Plus, 2.0 g122 AT with Style pack( matrix full led lights). I was aiming for matrix lights and Bose system but the car was on the stock and I picked within 2 weeks and the price was unbeatable. Let me know if you can help me with some thoughts or where I can find proper answers for my question. I’m coming from a domain where I learned that everything is possible but I don’t want to void the warranty. So I am available to spend some money in Mazda service center :)) P.S. I was watching you for for months before I placed the order for my Mazda
Thanks for sharing. I’m not as familiar with Mazda Romania, but Mazda as a whole keeps tight-lipped about most things. I will say that there probably won’t be a Bose upgrade available, especially now with limited microchips. The Connected Services may be available. All Mazda3 since 2019 had the tech, but not the services until a software update became available in late 2020 or 2021. I would expect yours to have the hardware, but maybe someone at the local Mazda would know. Thanks again for your support.

We are a couple of folks gathered in a Facebook group and also into multi national groups and here we are having some issues with 12 Volts battery that is draining and due to that I was advised by the local dealership where I am having the regular service to not update the software firmware if I don’t have any issues that needs to be fixed. What can I say is that until now I am happy because I didn’t had problems with battery.

I just got this car and it just won't send me the authorization code i tried a zillion times. The girl at the dealership told me that the base model doesn't work with it. But the mazda website says that all versions support connected services. Is that true?
I have the premium CX-30 and I am having the same issue with getting the authorization code! The sales girl told me Mazda’s server were down on Friday, it’s Sunday now and I am still not able to get this to work
I was told when I got my Mazda CX 30 it was coming in the fall cause I asked to get a car starter and he told me that I wouldn't need it that there was an app coming out for it I hope it comes soon I wanted it for the winter
Most if not all car apps services from the manufacturers are slow to respond Lexus is the worst Acura is ok Mazda is also slow. I always install compustar drone mobile on my cars works way faster than all oems.
I’m not familiar with that. Does it work on every car? Hard to install? The Mazda app seemed to respond a lot faster than my previous testing in the fall of 2020.
@@JSS compustar drone mobile is very easy to install on cx5 and Mazda 6 and cx9 plug and play installation only need to splice the headlight switch wires if you want parking lights on when remote start otherwise you can skip it. Sorry but this looks way more work than just using a regular FOB. I would use the app as a backup but honestly its nowhere near fast enough to make it worth using over a normal FOB
Isn't there a cost for this feature? And all this work just to have monitor your every move and Financial transaction. Just put a stupid Remote start button on the fob!

Sadly, the remote starting doesn't work with manual transmissions...
I guess they didn't want to add a wire to check if the car was indeed in neutral.

If u have the auto button on and go under setting u can enabled it whenever the auto button is on

Have you checked to make sure your lights aren’t on automatic? If your lights are on auto, they will only come on at night.
When I use remote start and then open the car door the car turns off, Is there a setting adjustment I’m not finding so that won’t happen?

No you will still need the key fob to operate the vehicle. It is just for remote access.

Absolutely! If you have it turned on when the car is off, it will cool when you crank it. For a few minutes anyway.

That’s how the software is setup. They shared this from Toyota, and they have it as a theft deterrent.
if you read the fine print you have to agree to before app unlocks, it says it tracks and records your speed among other things. NO THANKS
