great video one thing i noticed was when you try and put the mobo back, the joysticks always fall off, how do you get them to stay long enough to put it in their holes? there’s that weird clear plastic piece that always falls out in the process under the touchpad too.
Tabs at 1:30 should not be bent like you are doing. Obvious from you breaking them but have seen this in your other videos. Pull with a slight bit of pressure on the shell and raise those tabs just enough to clear the ledge. When plastic starts to turn white and discolor like it is doing you are bending too much and the fatigue will eventually give. Not to mention you will likely never get a secure connection from the clips even if they don't break because they won't fully seat.
Yeah I've changed that up I leave it for last when the sides are open so that the little tabs don't overstretch anymore. I was definitely over stressing the tab many tabs.
Do you have to use the analog sticks for the buttons to be able to work or no and if it’s no do I just do the same thing just keep the other Abo log sticks ?? Great Vedic btw
Yes they're compatible with each other. Though for BDM-030 there is no led kit yet. Check to see which BDM you have. They have the led kit for BDM-010/020
Yes, all kits are compatible with each other. But if you want to remap L3, R3, and touchpad to the remap kit you'll have to do some soldering. Other then that, you don't have to solder.
Need help. Battery connector isn’t receiving power from the wires on the side or the battery itself anymore. Charging port also isn’t receiving power. Thanks in advance.
Hey so I did this and it worked completely fine but now that I tried to turn it on it only flashes orange twice. I tried disconnecting it from my system resetting the controller and backtracked my steps. I even connect it straight to the mother board and it works just fine. But now it will not turn on and is only flashing orange with the light kit. Any suggestions on why this may be?
What about the back buttons too do you need a certain controller with a certain mother board too thank you for your help. The too controllers I have think is wrong mother board is there a way to get the right controller thanks again
They recently released the V2 remap kit compatible with the ps5 controller model # CFI-ZCT1W A/BDM-020 (found on the motherboard). Only white and black at the moment. THE V1 for CFI-ZCT1W/BDM-010 has more color options. There's possibly still some CFI-ZCT1W/BDM-010 controller on shelves. I had checked the ps5 controller box for the model number which it showed CFI-ZCT1W but I don't know if it shows for CFI-ZCT1W A.
You most likely have to move them around. That happened to me once. I opened it back up and was good after that. It's not the sticky and doesn't stay in place but for me it worked out. They're still working and my sticks don't get stuck.
If it's with the all clear buttons then yeah for me it felt bright. Could be different for others. If you're not looking at your control when gaming I don't think you'll notice it. But I have a transparent shell with the original buttons. That way the light only shines through the shell and not the buttons. For me this helped dim down the brightness and not feel like it's annoying to my eyes. I personally like it better that way.
I didn't use them for long so I can't say. They might be close to the originals. But if they're like the ps4 sticks then they eventually start to come apart. These are made for PS5 so who knows if the same will happen. I only used them for the video and then took them off.
