Didn't know El5n had room for sympathy given how he's been acting in front of Suletta and everyone else. This feels like dejavu with Guel back in the first few episodes of season one and here we are with him as best boy for the series.

I wonder how they'll use Lauda to progress the plot since his significance is on the lower side. The death flag for Petra was as bright as a beacon the moment she mentioned wanting Lauda to treat her to a meal after everything is over.
Speaking of progress, I wonder how will Suletta move forward now that she has experienced the horrors of war for herself (without the gaslighting to protect her). We haven't seen her facial reaction but she seems to be blocking the emotional aspect and purely focusing on the issue as her coping mechanism. She's truly free now but there's no direction for her since she only listens to what others tell her to do throughout her entire life.

@@Bryan_K_27435 I'm actually hopeful about her progress, moving forward, so to speak, by saving those who can still be saved under the rubble, instead of being overwhelmed by the deaths and the destruction around her. It's her way of coping, but as long as she's with Earth House, then I'm hoping that they'll all be okay in the end, trauma and all.

I'm not surprise that she die, it's already written on the previous episodes but it's still sad to see Norea get a little bit of hope only to get sniped by Beguir-Pente. The battle between Guel and Shaddiq was amazing, can't wait for our Tanuki's comeback.

Just how important is this "real Elan"?
I mean he has so many copies? And they all similar to him one way or another, right?
That means something, okay?
1. He is a maybe pampered snobby rich boy with a golden spoon on his mouth, because even Guel doesn't have clones to be his substitute, which mean Elan's Wealth> Guel's Wealth. This doesn't mean he doesn't have any capabilities, but if you want to take his head, you have to take down all his bodyguards first, so yeah, this won't come cheap on Elan number 5 's life, the Death Flag is raised high.
2. Since all of them is a clone of him in one way or another, part of his ability is what makes all those clones. Perhaps his cautious and calculating ability? His resistance towards GUND System, although not as high as his enhanced clones? I mean you can't make a copy of Godzilla out of House Lizard, he has to have some capabilities too, lest his house will go down just for cloning him and then throwing away all those failed clones.
3. Dude is very important, to kill him, would also means several things.
3.1 . That Elan is also not that "original", he could very well be a clone brainwashed into believing himself to be the "Real Elan", which means it's just clone killing "I'm Elan" Clone.
3.2. that Elan is the real deal,but... Since no one knows how many Elans are there, except Peil Industry, they could just replace him with his own clones and have a puppet Elan.
3.3. The True Elan's death is accepted, and maybe those old grannies will take his place in Peil Industry, just your company politics at work.
To people that doesn't like the setting in this series are normal peaceful school don't understand that you feel far deep emotional stress when seeing your normal everyday place suddenly become a bloodbath.
I'm guessing it just too close for comfort for them.

As much as she deserved it, it was hard to see Norea go.
She was really annoying for the last few episodes, but now I wanted her story with El5n
my jaw dropped after el5n said "come with me, we'll search the purpose of living together" and when norea died, i cried like broooo, they finally decided to live on their own free will then poof.

Although I saw it coming, I was really hoping that Norea and Petra would survive instead.
For Petra's death, it was like the common death flag where the character suddenly got a lot of spotlights by talking with the main character and talking about their feelings.
For Norea's death, it was like Colonel Sergei and Anew in gundam 00 where they get killed off after their battle is over.
All the death and sadness aside, can we appreciate how strong Suletta is?
She picked up and moved a tall, thick piece of concrete all by her own. And she did not break a sweat...

Really ironic, Elan and Tanjiro is voiced by the same seiyuu. Hearing Tanjiro saying what Elan have said will give you strength and hope however Elan is in Gundam series, what he conveyed is a major death flag.

Suletta will probably steal Pharact to get to earth. It's technically GUND-ARM's MS and Peil doesn't have any good pilots around anyway since the real Elan Ceres only has C rank MS Piloting skill.

man what an episode. Great mobile suit action, emotional stacks and that sprinkling of hope that everything will work out but then this is Gundam and its taken away just like that.
The writing, animation and everything has been great for this series.

Their huge social development last episode was a big hint tho that one of them’s not gonna make it. Apparently Enhanced Person 5 survived. It would be better I think if Norea survived instead since she’s more broken than EP-5.
Sometimes I forgot how good these pilots were, they lost because Aerial is around. Now that she's not there, Guel has superb piloting skills!

Those are Bit Staves, not GUND BITs. There is a clear difference. One can only call it a GUND BIT if the MS using it is a Gundam. If it isn't, then it relies on drone technology, which is a Bit Stave.

This episode is really intense even though its only 5 episodes left. Guel Chadterk is literally the Char in mobile suit. By what i mean is he uses an outdated mobile suit with a red paint on it, fought a newer machines, he can keep up with a newer machines and literally defeat 2 new machines at once. Anyway, the shots on the dead bodies is a literal reminder to the people who wants to watch a yuri giant robot that this is Gundam, everyone dies

Norea's death was 100% justified. I'm honestly stumped so many people are feeling sorry for a filthy terrorist who killed innocents.

Watching episode 1 months ago I thought the series would be a slice of life school drama with mech. Now, I'm sick to my stomach with the depiction of casualties of war... Neat!
Same here. Though season 1 was too slow imo, this season is much better and I think is more connected to the prologue. Also finally sulleta isn't a mary sue anymore. I think the story just went better when we weren't following sulleta around.
It has always subtly portrayed, the wars, discrimination, unease, dirty plots, but it was wrapped in school hijinks. Watch it from the beginning again, and you'll see.
And here I was thinking how I didn't want more deaths so that the characters could have developments but I guess I was wrong. This is why I love WFM. The element of surprise is always there.
Welcome to Gundam franchise mate. Trust me all of character we know have high stake to die on any given moments, the exception is Suletta and Mio. The two of them have plot armor as an MC and Princess chara.
Not my first. I've watched the first gundam, Gundam zeta, gundam wing, gundam seed, destiny, gundam 08th ms team, gundam 00, hathaway's flash, unicorn, Iron blooded orphans, build fighters series, after war, char's counterattack, and origins.
Liked the first gundam, CCA, unicorn, 08th ms team, origins, 00, IBO, build fighters series, wing; did not like zeta, hathaway's flash, victory. The others I haven't finished or haven't watched since I got bored halfway.
First time I've watched gundam was in grade 10. Definitely not my first time
And all of sudden, shit went to zeta episode.
No scratch that, this is victory episode.
Guel vs shaddiq kinda reminds me of gaelio vs mcgillis, 1 got everything taken away by a manipulator whose motivation is revenge because of the suffering he suffered since childhood the only difference is i was rooting for mcgillis back then now I'm rooting for guel

Wow. I hope this series will not end like Gundam IBO where almost all of the MC died.
ibo is exception because MC is on the villain side.
Normally the main MC will survive but his gf will die, ibo is the opposite.
nothing wrong when everyone died, but in IBO case all the death is souless and unnecessary feel rushed.... i mean like how Orga died it's so cringe and everyone keep joking about his death even after 7 years that series ended...
IBO bittersweet ending was acceptable knowingly Tekkadan would never fit in a peaceful world. Some side characters had a better ending, and Mika's ending was justified with his offspring has a better future. Ya Olga's death felt like an afterthought.
I really wish that there would be a true tragic end, which literally all character died, with no one winning, the MC, the villians, the side character or even the neutral one. But ofcourse it's has to done it right, not just some senseless death, example two major country fired nuclear at each other end up everyone lost because you destroy the earth kind of plot.

p.s. Also Holy Frick Guel and Shaddiq fight is sooo good!!! A lot of emotional stuff happened so forgor to say a fight scene lol

I think Norea and Elan 05 represent the two aspects of Four Murasame.
Norea: Her propensity to go on a psychotic rampage that destroys everyone and everything in her path.
Elan 05: Her inability to remember her name, being used as a test subject for experimental mobile suits and comes with a number.
I thought Elan became Tanjiro for a second there haha!
Really a Gundamn episode, that scene when Norea died really got me. Yeah, she killed many spacians but damn it's so painful and I felt bad for Elan. I ship them so bad and this happen😢

No bs power ups, no power of friendship plot armour, the casualty & realism of war but on a smaller scale
Its easier to digest the whole thing since we're having multiple povs for the characters but man this hurts

Prospera is a very well-written character. Almost aizen/eren villain kind of writing. Not only that, she is a very compelling WOMAN antagonist. Just my humble opinion.
The entire series revolves around her and her revenge. Suletta is just a distraction for all of us.

I didn't know about Rau since I didn't watched Zeta yet, but for me, Prospera is the best villain of the Gundam series this year. She manipulated and used everyone around her for the sake of the revenge plot that she's been cooking for 2 decades.
Sunrise never fail went it comes to Gundam story.
