    Hi Everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend 😊 If you like what you see here and want more recipes like this one, be sure to like our video and subscribe to our channel!
    If you’re like us and you’ve been missing sandwiches, we’ve got you covered...Today we are thrilled to share our keto cashew bread recipe! This bread is probably our favorite bread yet (we finished the entire loaf the same day we made it, with the help of some other family members, of course)!
    Whether you’ve been craving a good old fashioned peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a French Toast breakfast, or just a piece of bread with some butter-this is the perfect recipe. We found that this bread didn’t crumble or fall apart and it stayed deliciously moist! We suggest covering the bread you aren’t planning to eat right away tightly in clear wrap to retain moisture.
    The Cashew butter can easily be substituted for almond butter if you're looking for even lower carbs!
    We hope you love this recipe as much as we do. Thank you for visiting our channel and we hope you’ll be back! If you’re on Facebook and your looking for a great group of people to bounce ideas off of or chat about anything keto, be sure to look us up under Keto In The Country!
    Keto Cashew Bread
    Ingredients:
    1 c Cashew butter, or almond butter for lower carbs
    4 egg yolks
    4 egg whites
    1/4 c coconut milk
    1/4 c coconut flour
    2 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp fiber syrup
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
    Directions:
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix the cashew butter and egg yolks with a hand mixer, until smooth. Add the coconut milk, apple cider vinegar, fiber syrup and mix. In a small separate bowl, whisk the coconut flour, salt, and baking soda. In another bowl, add the egg whites and mix with a hand mixer until glossy white peaks are formed. Add dry ingredients to cashew butter mixture. Mix until completely incorporated. Add the fluffy egg whites and mix to combine. Transfer to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper (we spray ours with coconut oil). Bake for 40 minutes, NO PEAKING!! Enjoy!
    *makes 12 slices*
    Nutritional Info Per Slice:
    5 net carbs
    138 calories
    10.5 g fat
    4.4 g protein
    (The first time we made this, I planned to use it for French toast so I added an extra Tbsp of fiber syrup for some extra sweetness but you could also use a Tbsp of the Truvia brown sugar).

      Tiffany DeConick Oh!!!!!!! Awesome!!!! Someone also tried it with almond butter and said it was delicious! We haven’t tried that yet though. Maybe I’ll try it tomorrow since we’re stuck inside.
      Thanks for your comments!

    Ready to make it.Bake at 400 degrees but for how long 🤔

      @KetointheCountry  3 роки тому

      Oh jeez. Good question. Start at 30 min, maybe until it gets brown at the top. It also works with almond butter! It’s been awhile since we made it, but I think I’ll make it tomorrow!

    This bread is certifiably delicious. We used almond butter instead of cashew butter and eliminated the fiber syrup. As we did with the savory zucchini cheddar muffins, we ate the whole loaf in one sitting...with butter and without regret! 😉

      @@KetointheCountry that's high, maybe for maintenance but not weightloss. I only do 10nc a day.

    • @KetointheCountry
      @KetointheCountry  5 років тому +2

      Carolyn K It really depends. I did weight loss at 20 carbs, in which this bread would have easily fit in, especially with an open face sandwich. The rest of my carbs would have been vegetables. But come back to it in maintenance!! ❤️
