Great vid. Like seeing the advice you give in action
Great job great info. Wish I had more time off work.
Great video Steve
Thanks T-give those flats a try and let me know how you do.
My usual stompin grounds. I’ve caught them so good there in the past but have yet to fish there at all this year.
If you don’t mind me asking what launch is this called?
Great video Steve..
Thanks JMK-good luck.
Great video Steve. Maybe I missed it - why are you throwing everything on a spinning reel this trip? It seems a casting rod/reel would have given you better control of a few fish in the heavy cover.
Wow! Looked fun. Thanks for sharing thought process.
Thanks for the how to video. I like this style of video.
Thanks for watching and hope a big fish is in your neer future.
Awesome content!! Thank you 😊
Great job out there, very informative, it will come in handy pre fishing for our kayak WCC in a few weeks
Thanks so much-good luck and let me know how you do.
Steve! I was just in that same spot last night! You picked it apart much better than I did. Its always a good day when I get to wake up with coffee and In Deep on the Delta. Love the videos. keep em comin!
The question is -how did you do. Last time I was on that flat it was slow.
Steve, Great video. I really enjoyed and got a lot out of this video. With that said, I struggle especially at low tide. Could you make a video on how you approach the various covers at low tide fishing.
I will give that one a try. First suggestion would be to find some shade and have lunch. I'll try to do better than that on the video.
Waaaaaoooo great videos I’ll like everyone of them tanks for your soport have a wonderful day out there tanks
Thanks Sal
Steve! Congratulations on an absolutely awesome video! I believe its one of the best you've done! Filled with excellent action, professional instruction, and even a couple "real life" darn it moments!!! Hahahah! Happens to the best! Wish I could have been there with you, love flats, and topwater! I would have had to throw a hollow body over and through some of the slop though! Keep up the excellent work and "tight lines" buddy!
Thanks Lee - how you doing - long time no see.
The best delta video of 2023! A few questions. Are the flats mainly for high tide? Are evenings better than mornings? Were your lures black?
Thanks Michael. Flats can be fished at any tide and any time. Every flat is different, some flats can produce better at high tide-some produce better at low tide. Shallow water fish always are more active at the change of light. My suggestion is to choose the flats that you're intrested in, Fish them early or late, at any tide,(if you can't fish early or late fish the flats when you have some wind) If you're fishing the change of light, you're fishing the most compressed bite window, It's the quickest rout to finding out if that flat holds fish. Once you know the flat is holding fish, you will have the confidence to explore the flat at different times and hone in the when it fishes best. Good Luck and let me know how you do.
Thank you so much Steve for sharing your great info!! I only wish I new how to find flats😢.
I use your info ALL the time. Like the end of your videos hint of using the Horny Toad!! I used it after the frog and wooper plooper shot died of and man did I catch fish. Like 30! Of them so now I have a arsinal of them. I almost wiped out Fisherman's Warehouse 😂. I was fishing in water last weekend in 2 deferent areas that went from 71.3°to 71.8° .
Thanks so much
David
Just got into bass fishing and just got my self a boat if you don’t mind me asking where did you launch at bro ?
Nice job explaining your approach and techniques. Keep them coming, learning from your experiences. 👍🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼
Thanks so much Lee-good luck and let me know how you do.
This seems to be one of your most liked videos! I like seeing how much your work is appreciated. I love all your stuff, but I’m really looking forward to more DELTA NIGHT FISHING REPORTS. Thanks Steve 👍
Great video. So good to see numbers of fish on that flat. I use to do great on that area, however the last few years it has fished really tough for me. Thanks for sharing.
I'm in the boat with you. Was just passing through a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a try. As they say, the rest is history.
Nice work Steve!! Just got a 5lb 6oz on a whopper Plopper 130 last weekend. A few 2’s and 3’s also. Took your recommendation from last week and stuck to it;)
Just got into bass fishing and just got my self a boat if you don’t mind me asking where did you launch at bro ?

Thanks Dave-it a hobby-no work, just fun. Glad you enjoyed.
Great video!!!! Now I gotta go find me some flats up in the North central area!!!
There around, you can usually find small flats somewhere around tullie islands. Whites Slough has lot's of flats. They don't always have fish on them but thet are always worth a try.
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks Anthony-good luck-let me know how you do.
Great way to start the day
One of my favorite videos so for Steve

Where did you launch at ? If you don’t mind me asking
I’d like to know approx where this spot is. North delta central delta south east west. Please Anything. The floating houses in the back ground look pretty cool.
Central Delta-the docks in the back round are where Herman and Helen's marina was. Thanks for checking out the video.
Nice one Steve! The REBC has a tournament there on the 19th of August, safe light to ? 6 hour tourney!

You know if I was with you, we would have landed all those big fish. Just saying. Lol!😂
Just Saying, you might be right.
