Thank you everyone for your positive comments! They really keep us going! What interests you most about Ardenfall? The world, combat, quests, or something else? Would love to hear your thoughts.
@@SpellcastStudios Everything seems interesting so far! The mystery, lore, art style, geography, gameplay. All of it combined really come together in a very unique package, bringing a sort of “Morrowind-ish” type vibe we rarely get from games. I hope it stays weird and continues in that fashion.
I played the demo a while back. I was sad to realise that this game won't be out for a while. So I'm happy now that this popped up on my feed. Quality work takes time. So I wish the team the best, and will be happy to try the game when it comes out.
Wow! That is a well made game. The game already looks super beautiful and the gameplay looks really fun. Really like the idea of offline npc that is a clever idea. Looking forward to your next devlog. Keep it up! :)
Thank you for this update. Can't wait for the game to be finished. This game seems to be tha labour of love, so this project is the one I wait for the most.
Tbh, I wasn't really interested in the game when it first got revealed. But after watching this video I went straight to Steam to make sure to wishlist it. Keep up the good work!
Really looking forward to purchasing this. It shows so much potential, I really hope you all are able to bring it to completion. Happy New Year, and I wish for nothing but success for your studio.
This game , tainted grail , the bloodline and avowed. Seems like we are entering an era of Scrolls-like rpgs and I am so hyped , big fan of elderscrolls games and I was always surprised that literally no one tried to compete with them. Best of luck developers!
The Arohari Armor is inspired by various armor styles, and isn't trying to replicate a single armor in history! The name Arohari is referencing the feathers used, which are from the Arohari - a monster in the game.
i would hiiiighly suggest looking into how Warhammer 40,000: Darktide does melee combat, specifically the sound design and animations because i feel y'all definitely have the fundamentals down but learning from darktide could seriously make it perfect
1. It’s not done yet 2. Game dev is a proper industry and career. It’s unreasonable to expect a bunch of random UA-camrs to just pick it up in their free time and be successful. Would you trust a “part-time” surgeon with a heart surgery?
We know there's a place called Vvardenfall in the Elder Scrolls, right? Every time I see this game, I wonder if they're suggesting that this is a "spiritual successor" to Morrowind.
The name is based on a really old world I built in highschool, and was not intentionally a reference to Morrowind. A frustrating coincidence - we considered renaming at one point, but never did. We definitely aren't trying to be a spiritual successor to Morrowind, although it is one of the inspirations.
@@DipJyotiDeka Looks like its a no go. I was looking to aid in modeling but everything 3d requires knowledge of the creation kit and i've never used it. I've only used unreal engine for small projects to date.

Wow! Our voices sounded amazing. Great work, guys! 👍
The style is so impressive for a low budget rpg.
Looks nice . really want something with the atmosphere of Nine Lives by Smokey Monkey
It looks great. Great job.
I was just thinking about you guys again... Then BAM a new video... Missed you all!

I love the swamp environments. It feels like taking a stroll around the Bitter Coast. It's looking good. Keep it up. 👍
looks beautiful. 👍

Loved the demo. Happy to see you guys posting.

Everything looks fantastic! Can’t wait for a chance to get in there and experience it. Congrats on everything so far!

this is looking really good, I can't wait to see it in game
Glad to see more updates
3:38 that's my beloved 🥰
sick, hoping to see even more coming coming from the project.
Great to see. Hope we can see an updated demo soon atleast. If not the full game
Really inspiring to see the progress you’ve made. Can’t wait for the release
The movement reminds me of Cyberpunk! If the first person melee feels anything like that, I’m sold! Nice work!!
We're definitely inspired by Cyberpunk's movement!
i played the demo recently and it was lots of fun
Awesome!! Played the demo a few years ago and never forgot it!

Bethesda better get their shit together or else they will get left behind by these newer games.
Tainted grail is nothing like what you're saying, why even mention it? Other games look garbage. This game looks decent to mid though, we'll see.
@ theres two tainted grail games
It's crazy how fast the landscape has changed the past few years - us gamers are eating good!
Kcd2!
I'm liking people seeing the potential in scrolla like jist 1 aaa scrolls like donw decently well and its over for bethesda
I missed yall
Excellent work as always
Awesome to see more of this! Curious, are you guys hiring?
We're always taking applications on the website!
Welcome back!!!! wooohooo :D PS: Will their be any wands? or only staffs?
Only staffs are planned at the moment, but we may add wands in the future :)
Please add Wands! From Bg3, Dos2 and Oblivion I ALWAYS mod in wands!! Not enough games have them!!
Plate armor in the video is surprisingly similar to lamellar armor. Is it just a temporary name?
The Arohari Armor is inspired by various armor styles, and isn't trying to replicate a single armor in history! The name Arohari is referencing the feathers used, which are from the Arohari - a monster in the game.
Really glad to see this still in dev! We desperately need more FPS RPGs...
this is giving morrowind meets avatar tla, and im here for it
Sweeeet!
Will it come to consoles?
We'd love to release to consoles someday!

We'll take a look, thanks for the tip!
Looks clunky, but very interesting. Can't go wrong with ragdoll, like in Skyrim.
Will modding be possible?
Not on release, but I'd love to support it someday
Thank you for being one of the few who actually finishes their projects 😭🥹

I enjoyed the demo last year but I remember not being a fan of spells having cooldowns like MMOs

I do 3D modeling. If you want some weapon model i can make it for you.
I hear the skyoblivion team is looking for 3d models for plants to complete their project.
@DipJyotiDeka I can probably help there. Most of what I do is hard surface, but I've made some things like mushrooms. Thanks.
