I do wish that they gave us our first and third companions back even if they’re different voice actors. As a swash I can only imagine out sassy Sarah would be to sinbad
I do know that both our first companions and the Presidio companions require 5 unique voices for each character. Understandably with this problem your not gonna hear them speak as much compared to El Toro or Hawkules. Originally the Magnificent 7 would`ve gotten main speaking roles but that was scrapped so you still get their promotion dialogue and nothing else. In my community tab I posted a Pastebin link that has a dev Q&A, thier was a question wondering if those companions would come back. Sam/Blind Mew (game writer) said something along the lines of "we do have access and know the location of some VAs like Gaspard or Sarah Steele." It would most likely require work to get everyone back or risk recasting them and he added that it would be a shame to lose Emmett`s VA. Here`s the link: pastebin.com/5KdaupM7
Thanks man and yes both the previous actors for Bonnie and Ratbeard I believe retired from voice acting altogether. I`m getting used to it but I think everyone was and still put off by the newer voice. I`m pretty sure one of the main writers did the Ratbeard voice and it at least tries to sound similar to the old one.
Yeah I try not to be too mean but his and Bonnie Anne`s OG voices are hard to beat, at least they tried to have Ratbeard sound the same. I also realized that it`s just the same stereotypical pirate voice used from Bobby Bones.
