I've got two fun bits of trivia for ya! First, there was originally a quest to get the key to Celestia before it released. This quest was REALLY HARD. It involved a dungeon featuring some of the most difficult fights in the game. The dungeon was SO HARD that the devs made the quest optional, then removed it entirely. Second, the Selena Gomez crossover led to one of my favorite video game patch notes of all time. After a patch one day, long after the end of the Selena Gomez event, her NPC model reappeared in the Storm School. She couldn't be interacted with, but she was there! The devs patched this of course, noting: "The ghost of Selena Gomez past will no longer appear in the Storm school."
I think this specific tower was called “The SGS Warehouse” in Regent’s Square. There was a final quest to get the spiral key for celestia……..except it was also just so disgustingly hard with first instances of extreme cheating bosses
With regards to the titans, I think the implication is that there’s the fire titan, ice titan, & storm titan who spawned the dragons, frost giants, & tritons in their own images. The spawns of the titans are the ones you summon. At least, that’s how I interpreted it.
thats exactly what it is. the frost giants in wintertusk are the children of the ice titan, they straight up tell you they are. safe to assume if the ice titan can have kids, so can the fire and storm titans.
We should also be able to join Morganthe or any other villains (or become a shadow villain) and have more choice, though this would take a while to code ofc
You guys are criminal for making krysallis as long as it is and not releasing a world potion for it. That shit is completely and 100% unbearable and unacceptable. People will spend more time in that world then ALL of arc 3

She tries to explain the mixup, saying she's an actress and has her album to release, but they don't heed her. At the end, she thanks you and tells you to keep an eye out for her album.

So Epic Fun Fact: Around a few years ago, the devs ran a Spell Card audit, basically going back to balance old spells and making them stronger or weaker to make a more conductive gameplay experience whilst going through the story. Notably for Balance, they increased Power Nova's (the Level 48 spell) damage to around 645-700ish iirc while removing its attack debuff, and DEBUFFED Ra to slightly above Power Nova's original strength and giving it the original -50% damage debuff Power Nova had. Meaning Belloq used to be HARDER if he isn't still annoying with that added debuff to Ra.
Fun fact: nick Jonas is found in grizzleheim because he composed the music in Wintertusk. Which makes it even more weird that he is in game because he is STILL there since 2011

I love Wysteria and fun fact but all the schools use the magic schools differently, like Fire is more of a healer school for them while Life is for trapping. I wished they used that idea more 😭
Same with the school just being not great in general with having no homework or studies and instead slack off all the time. And because of that most of the students don’t become wizards and pursue other jobs when they graduate
In the grand scheme of things the Ember Island Players was a little pointless compared to everything else going on, but darnit I will defend that episode till the day I die.
Notably, that episode _isn't_ actually filler; it's a showcase of Fire Nation sentiment about the Gaang, and basically the only instance of Aang/Katara romance building (which a lot of people have soured on due to Zuko/Katara being much more fleshed out). If we're looking for filler in TLA, the only actual example is the compilation episode of "what's everyone doing in the Earth Kingdom," which has a bunch of character moments but is ultimately pointless in the overall plot.

I have never played wizard101. Most likely never will. For some reason I have spent a total of 2 hours learning about its lore and actually enjoying it. That’s the true magic here.

It seems like lots of micromanaging different abilities and I’m much more interested in games like the Far Cry series, red dead redemption series, ghost of Tsushima, those kinds of things. 58:53 EVERYONE in the Wizard101 community begroaned Khrysalis whenever they decided to make a new wizard with a new school because it always took so damn long to get through, especially since it was how you got to level 100 which was the level cap for a while. We all hated doing it more than one or even just once at all lol.

Even though he was the oldest villain, I think Malistaire is the best villain. His motivations are relatable to anyone who has lost a loved one. You’d understandably would want to do anything to bring them back from death. Morganthe, Grandfather Spider, and the Paradox are all prophetical threats. They’re scary because of how much of a threat has been foretold by prophecy… but Malistaire used to be just a normal person, who went mad after losing his wife. Addition: did you know that the story writers and voice actor originally wanted to keep Malistaire dead… but higher ups told them “no, bring him back to life and have the Wizard fight him again.” Despite some protest the writers submitted and hastily wrote Malistaire back into the plot for Azteca. Unsurprisingly fans and players were more confused than excited to see malistaire again, so the higher ups gave the writers permission to kill him off (again). It’s never a good idea to bring back a character who is meant to die at the end of their arc. Malistaire should have stayed dead, even if he is my favorite villain. His redemption arc was his death and meeting Sylvia in the afterlife. He didn’t need another arc.
Truly I do not understand why youtube doesn't just put these first. If there's a new Choopo, I will watch it. It's very simple. Also I don't think I've ever said this but I love your art style. It's so full of character and life.
It doesn't really matter if he's gonna be carried through anyway. I think it's smart to not waste further time farming so that he can focus on getting through the story by relying on those willing to help.

This game sounds so much crazier and cooler than the ads made it seem back then. The characters and even enemies all have so much visible personality for an MMO Actually, those ads didn't even show anything that'd give you a feel of what kinda game it even is. For all I knew, it could've been a boring math game with a wizard theme
Honestly, the story is very good. Granted the fine details of each and every quest is quite inane, but the overaching plot and world building is fine imo.

I've had that thing for 14 years!!! they're not taking it away from me!!!!!
I'm happy to see this and the love for this game. Unfortunately both the voice actors of grandmother raven and ambrose have passed and they gave this iconic performances in this iconic game. It makes me happy seeing other people enjoy it.

I remember Belloq being an absolute pain in the ass, that rat bastard always has some BS that makes him a hard stop for progressing solo.
Yeah except his Ra is a unique one that does about 2k base damage, no weakness. This was the same before the rework.

actually belloq was not impacted by the spell audit, his cheat is a unique ra and thus was not touched by base ra changes

Even though he was the oldest villain, I think Malistaire is the best villain. His motivations are relatable to anyone who has lost a loved one. You’d understandably would want to do anything to bring them back from death. Morganthe, Grandfather Spider, and the Paradox are all prophetical threats. They’re scary because of how much of a threat has been foretold by prophecy… but Malistaire used to be just a normal person, who went mad after losing his wife.
Addition: did you know that the story writers and voice actor originally wanted to keep Malistaire dead… but higher ups told them “no, bring him back to life and have the Wizard fight him again.” Despite some protest the writers submitted and hastily wrote Malistaire back into the plot for Azteca. Unsurprisingly fans and players were more confused than excited to see malistaire again, so the higher ups gave the writers permission to kill him off (again). It’s never a good idea to bring back a character who is meant to die at the end of their arc. Malistaire should have stayed dead, even if he is my favorite villain. His redemption arc was his death and meeting Sylvia in the afterlife. He didn’t need another arc.

Halfway through wondering when this guy is gonna realize farming for gear, specifically waterworks at first is really important.
It doesn't really matter if he's gonna be carried through anyway. I think it's smart to not waste further time farming so that he can focus on getting through the story by relying on those willing to help.
Yeah I had the same thought when he talked about getting killed constantly in Azteca. KI armor balancing stinks so bad that you wear the same armor from lvl 60-90
Yeah that explains why he keeps talking about how he could never solo quest a children's game.

This game sounds so much crazier and cooler than the ads made it seem back then. The characters and even enemies all have so much visible personality for an MMO
Actually, those ads didn't even show anything that'd give you a feel of what kinda game it even is. For all I knew, it could've been a boring math game with a wizard theme
Honestly, the story is very good. Granted the fine details of each and every quest is quite inane, but the overaching plot and world building is fine imo.

I love that you talked about the selena gomez cameo because I did it when it was live back in 2010, and for completing the quest you got to have a selna gomez statue, which I now proudly display in my wizard101 house for friends to see whenever they come over. I've had that thing for 14 years!!! they're not taking it away from me!!!!!
I'm happy to see this and the love for this game. Unfortunately both the voice actors of grandmother raven and ambrose have passed and they gave this iconic performances in this iconic game. It makes me happy seeing other people enjoy it.
