    If it’s 223 you shouldn’t fire 556. Some rifles are chambered to fire both but I wouldn’t put 556 through a rifle designed specifically for 223 only. The minor difference in the neck of the cartridge between the two rounds coupled with the slight increase in pressure of the 556 creates more pressure than the 223 rifle was designed for. Sure , it probably won’t explode in your face when you pull the trigger but “probably won’t explode” is not something you want to risk every time you pull the trigger

      This is a European rifle built to CIP standards not SAAMI. It was designed around the 5.56 not the .223 no matter what the caliber designation is. 👍
      I have multiple Cz’s, and you can call and ask and that is what I have been told.
