Great stuff on one of my (still) favorite cartridges. I focused on the 60 grain NBT and the 69 grain SBK in mine and got great results for 350+ yards shooting on varmints. You are dead on when you speak about the stock. I wish they offered an aftermarket option to purchase one of their Lux or American wood stocks, or their Ergo thumbhole stock. Any of those would be way better than the Alpha's current stock. I'm with most others on here, chop it and run varmint bullets. I'll be watching either way!
I’d like to see a video of you going through a few of your 6 Arc bolt guns.
Shot one of these in 6.5 creedmoor at 1200 yards with a sightmark presidio on it.

That rifle doesn't intrested me much but I'd still watch because its the type of content I like. I like the clips from reload room should do more of that and on target shooting/groups. IMO.

Does Boyds name a laminated stock for this rifle? Might be able to give them a call and stiffen it up that way
I have this chambered in 6CM. I have 23 rounds through it. It does very well with the new Hornady V-Match factory. My hand loaded 90 gr CX projectiles showed signs of high pressure with 41 grains of H4350. I'm not sure what to think of that. I'll probably pull those copper alloy projectiles and use something else, at least until I know it is broke-in.
I purchased a 10-round magazine on Monday, March 18th from cz-parts. It shipped within hours from the Czech Republic and arrived at my house, in Lubbock, yesterday, Thursday March 21. The magazine fits all their short-action cartridges.
The stock is wonky and I don't know what to do about that. Probably nothing. I am waiting for the CZ 600 MDT to become available. Is Ally Outdoors interested in a trade?

Did that mag return spring fail because you flush seated the mag? I can feel mine bind if I attempt to flush seat it vs use the 2 part seating instructions in the book and on the sticker on the mag.
When I got my .224V cz600 I shot base line 5 round groups with the 3 hornady ammo offerings and the 60 Nosler BT Federal ammo & then I chopped 6” off the barrel. 18” now and threaded 5/8 and recrowned her. [chef kiss]
I actually liked the safety location and that it locks the bolt down when engaged. Janky is the proper term for the stock IMO. That bolt throw angle is awesome but the cocking force is too much for that janky stock and a 4” arcalok section. I can feel it twist sometimes and it drives me nuts.
I hate the interrupted pic rail on the receiver. I haven’t found one of my premounted optics that fit the available mounting area and come up with proper eye relief
No extended mags unless you move to the Trail series chassis and run x39 Bren2 mags. Walnut stock options should be available next quarter.
I’m glad to see someone else who has more visibility undertake this 600 project.
I feel like I was careful to follow mag seating instructions, that said very well could have been. I’m probably gonna reach out and see if I can buy a couple of springs and test that.

Wade, ive been debating that vortex venom for RAR. But you said you would swap it out for a day time hunting scope. What do you suggest for a day time scope? RAR 5.56 and RAR 6 ARC
Cut the barrel, run lite varmint ammo. Vary interested in that setup.
Got a 600 Trail in .300 BLK. Super nice and with the collapsable stock a very compact rifle. Qualitywise barely any competition to my Sako 90 Adventure, but for the price it is pretty amazing. Mine likes a dirtier barrel more than a clean one.

So up until now when I’ve heard you talk group size on the podcast and UA-cam channel , you’ve been measuring them outside to outside?
I really don’t care how you go about measuring, but it does confuse things / viewers when we’re not talking the same language.
Now that I know you’re an “ outsider “ I’ll just do the math and better understand the results .

CZ is going to tell you it has to come in for warranty/repair over that stupid little spring. I called about a messed up stock, and they told me it had to come back to them. I couldn't even just pay for one to be sent out.
