Thanks for confirming my thoughts. Went out this morning, (Monday), travelled from DB to Holland Marina area. Water was 76 in DB and dropped to 70 at Holland. Did see Sea Lions, they are there for a reason. Stripers are definitely moving in. I suspected, seeing several commercial boats dragging lines. Chatterbaits…Jerk baits👍Thanks for a great report.
Thanks for all the great info on the delta and bass techniques as well! I don't have a boat. I don't get around as well as i used too but you have put the bug back in me. I am from the sacramento area and still never fished the delta. Where is a good place for me to fish the banks of the delta and catch bass. Once again I love the info and am sharing your channel. Thanks again
Interesting comment about fishing the weekend with lots of skier company. Whenever I do get an opportunity to fish I try to avoid weekends like the plague. You would think that ski boats would steer away from obvious fishing craft but they don't always do that. And I've never understood why, with all of the open water around, someone would choose to ski or wake close to shore and tons of obstructions where most of the fishing takes place. .
Hey Steve, going out to King Island for the first time on my kayak on Monday. Gonna be low tide at sunrise, hopefully gonna get some good punching and topwater fish. Any idea on how that place is fishing?
I didnot fish today but word a the ramp was a slow grind. Everyone caught fish but anything over 2 pounds was hard to come by. Don't miss the hyacinth under the bridge right at the ramp. Good luck-let me know how you do.
I went out Monday evening. Caught 1 pounders on everything til around 4pm. Between 5pm and 7pm it went dead. The only bites i got was on a spinnerbait that i let fall to the bottom. 7pm til dark it was on fire with the outgoing tide.
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 5-7 was horrible. Small ones. 7-8 was 2-3 pound range with some nice missed opportunities. Frog blowups and stolen senkos.
Hey Steve.. I haven't been doing a bunch of bass fishing but I'm about to start going out more and get you some reports.. next year I'll be fishing the Windy Wednesday nighters.. we should team up once or twice if you can. Always great reports and information.. See you soon!
@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 hahaha yeah.. I've been hitting the kats pretty good. We just finished 8th in bash at Clearlake. I've got an Alaska video coming soon too. But I gotta get my skills up for the Wednesday nighters. So I'm about to start putting in some work.lol
Hey Steve, just sent you email on our outing this morning. I mentioned I had a short window crankbait bite with my shad speed trap but after hearing your comments on going back to craw colors, danged if it never even dawned on me to switch to red/orange craw...hahahaha. I mighta had a bigger crank bite window! Thanx as always for another great report!!!
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 we got that 29lbs on my old 87 ranger old school delta fishin! No fancy graphs or baits. Just good ole spinnerbaits & buzzers.
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 I just lucked out by opening up my UA-cam just as your video hit. And as always, it was very enjoyable. You might have even convinced me to lift my temporary ban on Delta fishing.... :)
Stripers should be good but you may have to grind for LM. I would concentrate on stripers, remember to go lite and keep the baits small this time of year. Throwinf big baits at Hogan for striper this time of year can be a trip killer.

I'm with you Rich, I try to stay off the water on weekends.
5:12 peep the small fish feeding in the back 😂
Saw it on the edit. Not to spectacular but it was a sign of life.

Thanks Joe. Was up at Liberty yesterday, LM was good - no stripers. Wind was 20 to 30.

I will plan to interview you in the winners circle. Wear clean clothes.

Great report, as always.
Thanks you for watching Billy.
Thanks for the report Steve 👍
Thanks"s Charlie.
Steve, Rob said "buzzbait" so buzzbait, buzzbait and buzzbait. 😅
After 29 pounds I want to know what he had for breakfast.
Striper? You already know how to catch them. I catch them on bass gear all day long
I want more. Bigger and faster. Easyer. Is that too much to ask for?
Love watching the fish feed behind you around 5:10! Love your videos!
I saaw that when I was editing. Glad I did not see it when I was filming, I'm easly distracted.
Eyyy congrats to my boi He pulled out a 3.5 pounder
3.5s have been hard to come by so congrats.
