Food Trip in Quezon Province (with Erwan Heussaff)

- Erwan Heussaff is walking the streets of Quezon Province to get to know the local artisans and of course, taste the best plates of food. We are kickstarting our adventures by meeting up with local heroes like pottery artist Ugu Bigyan to get a glimpse of the rich heritage and delicious eats that the province has to offer.
From the best “Chami” noodles in Lucena, the rich “Yema” cake in Tayabas, and the unique meatloaf called “Hardinera,” Erwan’s trying all the classics and more! This is only the first part of our food trip in Quezon Province, so stay tuned for more!

I've said it before, FEATR should be required viewing for government officials. So they can learn more about the culture that needs to be preserved and vitalized. So many of our politicians don't know anything about our history.

What a beautiful piece, Erwan! Now, I want to visit Quezon again. I’ve been there twice: one time to climb Mt Banahaw, another time to stay on an island. I never thought of it as a food destination place, but now, I want to return just to eat all day.

I am smitten by Ugo's artistic and magical pottery garden and restaurant. It reminds me of Délicieux, a beautiful movie about the first restaurant in 1700s France.
