    The background music is the real trick to all the likes with this presentation. K mart used this music to great effect to lull people into a shopping euphoria with a simple, pleasant, barely audible positive soundtrack designed to comfort and sooth. I have already watched it 18 times to listen to and confirm the full effect. I think I will watch it again!

    Thank you so much for this video!!! Holy smokes! I was going to use Brasso to polish my antique German coin silver purse which is basically not silver, but nickel and just bought the Simichrome after watching this. Can't wait to try it out. You are awesome!

    My dude! You are the MVP. I've been calling around to different plating shops, trying to find the best way to restore my cloudy WFL hardware. You've answered my prayers!

    Been using Happich Semichrome since my military days (1980-2005) then continued using it on drums and my fire service badges and attachments. My uncle had used it on his police uniforms since 1971. I just loved the stuff. You really need a good buffer at the volume you are doing. Sure saves time and energy.

      @NuDrums  4 роки тому

      Oh, I really wish I had a buffer for sure! This was a long time ago when I was still doing repairs in the spare bedroom. I had one in my workshop when I lived in Michigan, but nowadays its hard to get the tools when you move around the world :)

    I'm a custom rifle builder and 1000yd Benchrest shooter. A lot of guys in my line of work are control people or true perfectionist if you will. I use Simichrome a lot and it's the best. My father even use to use it when he was a kid on motorcycle parts. It's got crushed industrial diamonds in it. Plus it's German which is where my lineage is from

      @@NuDrums Simichrome ended up working very well for my '59 Trans Badge Pioneer. It honestly made it look brand new again. I've since used it on my '52 WFL Contest model snare; and now my '58 WFL Buddy Rich Super Classic snare. And I just ordered 3 more tubes on Amazon - great stuff! I also thought I took the nickel plating off because it looked more like chrome after buffing.

    • @NuDrums

    Modern chrome parts on drum kits made in China can corrode in 10 years or less. Manufacturing standards have really sunk in the 21st century. That's why there are so many drum kits in landfills. I wish I had hardware that could last 20 years.
    It looks like your nickel part already has scratches on it. This means it is doomed to corrode in the future. The amount of corrosion protection afforded by Simichrome depends on the compounds it includes to enable passivation. Please comment on how long this lasts.

    • @NuDrums
      @NuDrums  4 роки тому +1

      Hi there! I answered this in another comment, but essentially from what i saw, the polish lasted strong for the year I owned the drum I had put these on. After that I'm not sure, but it's absolutely the best metal polish I've ever used, hands down. Thanks for the comment!
