Hi Doc. It’s very useful info. I have questions : Can we use this drop on wet skin? Can we use this drop combine with HA serum (before or after the drop better to apply)? And if irritation happens, should we stop or continue for 4 weeks by using moisturizer? One last question, can ee combine with mometasone furoate cream? As both are working same shrinking the blood vessel? Thanks alot
It can be sued on wet or dry skin. There have been no studies on its use with other serums and creams. If the skin is irritable, it can be sued with a thin moisturiser. Mometasoe furoate is probably too string to use on facial skin unless there is significant inflammation of the skin.
@@Ajxoxoxoxo We do not use mesotherapy in the UK. We tend to use oral tranexamic acid for pigmentary changes. Here is a video on it ua-cam.com/video/bdXQXJLDpMk/v-deo.html
Topical brimonidine may be helpful but is used only in rosacea in the UK. Lasers are also known to help. #Disclaimer# Please note that this video is for education purposes. It is not meant for personal advice as your own doctor/dermatologist will be the best person to answer specific queries.
As this is a solution, it can be used in the morning and night, left to dry for a few minuted and then the usual creams ca be applied about 3 0 to 45 mins.
@@DiscoverDermatology Doctor, please, I have two questions: Does this product conflict with azelaic acid, salicylic acid, or with niacinamide? The other question is, will a 0.1 ratio of this product be effective? How long does it take until the result appears?
@@n.o.o.rrrrrrrrr This can be used with any other topical agent and does not interact with them. I am not sure if a 0.1 ratio of this preparation is available. All studies have used the treatment for at least 6 to 8 weeks.
@@DiscoverDermatology Thank you very much, Doctor. I want to ask you another question. I have sensitive, oily skin. What is the correct way to remove vellus hair from the face? What do you think about bleaching facial hair with oxygen and powder?
@@n.o.o.rrrrrrrrr There are many methods to remove facial hair of which bleaching is one. Dermatologists sometimes use oral Spironolactone to prevent hair growth on the face (hirsutism). Here is a video on it ua-cam.com/video/d3iYSFRDbV0/v-deo.html
When would be best to apply and can we apply moisturizer after or before?
Would be helpful to apply it twice a day, morning and night. Moisturisers can be used either half and hour before or after it’s application.
Very interesting, but could it cause a rebound effect on the skin like these sprays usually do on nose rhinitis?
An excellent question. Im afraid there is no long term study on this regarding rebound effects.
Very interesting indication of Oxymetazoline!
Thanks Minu! Glad it was helpful. Hope your practice is going well!

With the nose drops, how many times a day should it be applied to the acne scar?
In th study the drops were used twice a day. It was applied on all the red areas of the skin, including the scar
@@DiscoverDermatologyThank you
What about xylometazoline nose drops, cn we use those r those the same?
Interesting question! No study has been done on it but as the mechanism of action is similar in both, it may be helpful too.

Good luck 💯📸
Thanks so much for your kind comments, glad it was helpful for you!
Will xylometazoline have the same effect?
Excellent question! Xylometazoline is a similar vasoconstrictive agent so it may work. No studies done in it though.
Quite a unique therapy!
Indeed, thanks for the comment!
Innovative option!
It is indeed!
