That is so cool to hear! My personal love affair started in 1986 at age 9.. My uncle bought a leftover 1985 Fl350 for my older cousin. She let me sit in her lap and hit the thumb 👍 paddle.. I dreamed of owning one ever since. In August of 2020, after the country opened up, buying the nicest stock fl350 listed online at that time seemed like the most logical thing to do! Living in PA, buying a machine in Colorado also seemed like a perfectly rational idea as I hopped a plane to Denver to meet the seller the next day! It took a week to get it home, and that's not the half of it! Not knowing anything about 2-strokes or carb jetting, it only took me 20 minutes to blow it up. Then it sat because I couldn't find anyone to work on it. About a year later, I bought a Harbor Freight portable shed and decided to start a UA-cam channel teaching myself and eventually others how to keep the machines running.. Then Joe from oddatv.com sent me an email. Then we spoke on the phone! After that, he decided to have this giveaway and wanted me to do the work! That's where we are today! Stay tuned for more! My friends and I at 19 just recently restored a 77 fl250, it was my friends though and now I would love one of my own, it was definitely surreal working on a machine almost 30 years older than us. If I win I would love to ride around with my friend and take it around and grab some amazing pictures.
