A 41 minute 42 second venn diagram of automotive entertainment; past, present and future. Well done TDC; by far the best channel on UA-cam today (and yesterday/last week etc).

i dont think anyone ever meant to imitate anyone its just some guys having fun, thats what made Top Gear and The Grand Tour so endearing in the first place

Yeah and some Guys dream over owning a Porsche 911 of this Gen but there like 20K most average guys can't afford it so they will have to buy a ratty one for like £3K and then with there mates try and make it into there Dream Car. We will see F-Type Jag's, GTR's and newer 911's soon. The GTR though would be another JDM Style Video, F-Type maybe Cheap, 911 to. Or maybe Audi R8's, Alfa Romeo's of some sort

I love the horn button. 'HONK!' Myself & a mate have a rally car which needed a MOT. It had air horns which weren't working, so we fitted a cheapo electric horn from Halfrauds just for the MOT. It worked when fitted. At the MOT it didn't work, despite having only been fitted 45 nminutes previously. The MOT tester (who we know), simply pushed the horn button and said, "Beep! Beep! - Yep, the horn works." We did fit new air horns afterwards.

Love Richard's number plate in the back ground 🤣 The 996 is massively under rated, great cars. Mine has a Hartech 4.1 which totally transforms the the drive and gives it the same power and torque as the 992 carrera

richard's question about bringing something back: i am completely with edwin, but i started doing that sort of thing clear back in the early 90s. the only cars ive ever daily driven since legal age in my state (14) has been cars that i built myself. engine, wiring, suspension, etc. my current daily is an exotic engine swap vw golf, 29 years old of this post, does over 140mph in a closed circuit with 4 people in it, and hauls groceries and my kids with ease. find a literal shell. a basket case. build it. make it yours. make something fun or useful. that's kind of what edwin likes and does, and thats how ive been most of my life.
After Grand tour I'm seeing it for the first time, the table is the same as Top Gear, even the seats.... Richard, what do we have to do to see you together again.... I want to believe that in a year you will be back😢😂
