The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away blessed be the authority of God that is how you are supposed to pray! Prayer is bowing to the will of God not trying to change it! Everything has been ordained by God when he wrote the ending he wrote the beginning, when he wrote the beginning he wrote the ending! What is in the mind of God is forever! Prayer changes nothing! You cannot pray away a hurricane that has already been established in the mind of God! If God already decided that the animals will die they will die no matter what you pray! Prayer is excepting that the will of God will happen no matter what you do! These hurricanes and trials are more precious than gold that try your faith! Explain to me how you send your bowing to the will of God from Iowa that goes against the will of God!

@psycho supposeiamThe Christian God told me to prepare as well and probably in a much smarter way than yours however we are supposed to care/pray for the well being of others that without money or help can get through the storm. Stop being hateful and a worthless piece of crap.
I'm in Stuart on the east coast. We are getting approx. 40+ mph winds and are nowhere near the storm. Power keeps cutting in and out every few minimum. I can not begin to fathom what people in the actual storm are going through. Hope everyone makes it out the otherside safely.

I am on the east coast of Fl...Daytona Beach. Still waiting for it to hit us. We are having heavy rain and winds. I live beachside and all the bridges are closed to the mainland. Still LOVE Florida. Would never leave.

this is the scariest thing since our hurricane is just beginning & coming next to our east florida coast, we feel for our west neighbors of the endless night you are about to endure, stay strong same as seen in naples video raging streets of 4 foot water..

During hurricane IKE in 2008, a chemical plant in Beaumont TX got at least 8 foot of water throughout the plant!😲😲
Praying people were not killed during this that high ground and safety for everyone. Almost over my area the biggest part now and will be next few hours. Cannot wait for this to be over with. Peace!

I knew it was going to flood really bad when they said the ocean was receding 😮BEFORE the hurricane 🌀 was nearing they said they never ever seen that it looked like a tsunami 🌊 was happening
It always happens with hurricanes just not to that level
What happened was the positions of the land and the hurricane's eye. The rain bands, wind sheer, eye wall move around the eye counter clock wise. At Charlotte harbor, the water did go back into the gulf because the winds push it back. But once the eye passed by, the storm surge pushed onto the land like a flood. That is why the east and south sides of the eye are the most dangerous areas of a hurricane.

“Michael” in 2018 was CAT 5 when hit Mexico Beach, panhandle, all the way to PC Beach disaster. Few people even mention it. Guess something political was going on! Oct. 2018. It was horrible! I was there.
I started watching LSM when Michael hit Mexico Beach, to find out what happened. It was devastating.
Yeah weird nobody talked about Michael or to tell you the truth or any other recent hurricanes that happened in 2020

My grandfather lives 10 mins from fortmyers beach….. he 90 and his birthday is next week he just lost everything…….😢
I believe Scientists and Engineers should be working on ways to stop these in their track. I understand satellites can detect an eye forming when its about 1/4
of a mile across. Small enough to have one of the weaker walls blown apart with munitions or microwave technology. It's time we try to control this terrible life threatening hazard.

I never understand all the cars left behind. I would drive out of there. If I couldn't save my home I'd save my car. If I couldn't afford a hotel I'd stay at a rest area. At least you would have your car, family, pets and whatever you could fit in your car. My sister's house is in Clearwater. She left to stay with family in Spring Hill which didn't get hit bad. Hopefully her house it ok. At least her car and dog are safe.
My guess is those with multiple cars couldn’t either afford gas or find gas. It’s very common. In Tampa with Irma, there was alt least two weeks where there was no gas at any station. An they also jack up the price. Which they aren’t supposed to do, but they still do. Or if evacuating, hotels or places may only allow one vehicle. Due to space.
I live on the west coast. I’d rather take 1 MINUTE EARTHQUAKE. OVER A 12 hour hurricane. Good luck to you all

Quite a bit of hurricanes with I names have been retired, and i'm sure Ian will be next on the list for sure. Ian will go down as a devastating hurricane which will be one to remember with Charley, Micheal, Wilma, and Andrew.
Usually those with I names come during September. Which is the worst month for them. Tend to be the strongest.

The semi trucks oh yeah it storm's a lot in Florida but we parked the yacht there in the parking lot so in case Florida weather gets to big we can still have a safe place to go to so leave the yacht there in case we needed it is in the semi truck parking lot thanks for emergency services yacht.
