1 pack of ramen noodles, I use the 85g pack (You can use top ramen or indomie, you don't need the flavouring package)
1 Egg
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 clove of garlic
1/2 Tbsp red pepper flakes (You can add less if you can't eat spicy food)

Pro tip: if you have some oyster sauce, use half tablespoon of that instead of brown sugar, istg it tastes like heaven!
Oysters sauce is everything on noodles & spaghetti too 🥰
I’m going to trust you with this !!
With the oyster sauce reminds me of the garlic butter linguini pasta I make from marions kitchen
@@anac1410 I thought of this recipe too! One of my favorites
@@ChipOfChoice mine too and my family really enjoys it

when you broke and still want to impress, i would go to this recipe
this is horrid
@@polarbear8440 wait it tastes bad? I was gonna try it today
@@inigoxd nah it tastes so good u gotta try it.. I’m binging
@@inigoxd I'm eating it right now. Pretty good, but i forgot soy-sauce.
It's good without it, but defiantly the soy-boi would add some 'kick' to it.
Watching this in the middle of the night... Regret...
You’re here too😩
Same🤦🏻♀️😂
Yeah imma bout to make the house smell like a spice rack
Dude your everywhere
FRRR
I tried making this, and this is the feedback. Awesome recipe! Super yummy, and really flavorful. My only things, would be about 3/4-1/2 of the brown sugar, 1/3 the red pepper, as even though I love spicy food, it was really spicy. Make sure to not cook it too long, as it will get a little dry if you do, and don't mix the eggs in too early. Let them cook for a little while before mixing them into the noodles. Other than that, it was fantastic! Definitely will be making this again:)
so i know this was a while ago, but do you think using white sugar instead of brown would make any difference? i usually only have white 💀
@@kendall2507 I don't think it would be as good, unless you add the right amount of molasses (Because that's literally all brown sugar is, white sugar and molasses loll). Just adding white sugar would just make it sweet, not really adding much flavor. But hey, you could try it out using like, half the total ingredients or something! Nothing wrong with experimenting!
@@kendall2507 yes💀
@@kendall2507 I would suggest maybe a couple teaspoons of honey instead of white sugar.
How hot does it need to cook at?

I don't know why but I am feeling you bro no comrade
I can't taste the spice, did I undercook the ingredients? I substituted the soy sauce as dark soy sauce and some salt.
Edit: nvm I have the rona now.
Hi, how much noodles did you add?
@@EasyPeasyPan about 1 ramen packets worth of noodles.

@@EasyPeasyPan thank you so much! I really appreciate the emotional support!

this basically how we make fried rice at home except you use instant noodles
Really? I have never made good fried rice so I’d like to try that. You use the sugar in the fried rice too?
@@laurenhemphill6769 yep why not :)
@@laurenhemphill6769 ofc!
@@laurenhemphill6769
Yeah, a bit of sugar makes a smooth taste which balances salt levels.
@@laurenhemphill6769 if u are going to use butter, soya sauce, etc it will taste quite salty and greasy. You can add sugar to balance that out. Plus, adding the sugar to all the spiciness gives the sweet-spicy flavour you gotta try that. I would recommend u to look up korean street sandwiches too. They add a bit of sugar there. Ngl I was pretty sus about it at the start but after I tasted it, it was heaven. 💗 I make it every weekend
i love that u mention indomie as your noodle choice 😍 a person with taste 🤌🏾

It’s one of the cool things about ramen packs: once you boil it you can dress it up in the pan any which way you want. Lately I’ve been adding garlic, soy, oyster sauce, sriracha and even a dot of hoisin. I think I’ll try this next. ^^

Any substitute for brown sugar?
This is heavenly ty for making this video
I made these today! They had a sweet/spicy taste which was mild. If you prefer it on the spicy side, leave out the brown sugar. I recommend adding a small amount of vegetables as well it just makes it pop
❤️❤️
I see why this went viral. So easy to make and so delicious. Didn’t expect it to taste so good
100% reccomend i can’t stop eating them
literally eating this right now…one word: AMAZING
❤️❤️
This is the first recipe on the internet I had ingredients for, lol. Thanks so much for this! It was so yum. I added the seasoning I got with my own noodles to make it even better and just changed up the amount of chilli flakes and soy sauce a bit. Also, I added a fried egg on top instead of adding it in the sauce. Definitely trying this again xxxx
This is SOOO GOOD!! I added a dash of cooking wine, red onion, and ginger! I replaced the chili peppers with black pepper bc I’m not good with spice. I highly recommend! Will be making this again!
Made this twice, absolutely delicious. My dad loves it too, he's a happy man
Yay! Glad both you and your day liked it❤️
I’ve been non stop eating this and I’m a little concerned about my Heath
Sameeeee
Hi, just wanna ask if the taste is maybe sweet and sour because of the sugar and soy sauce? And is it similar to the taste of orange chicken?
@@sadiarahman6555 it definitely depends if you wanna change the amount of your ingredients! I definitely do it sometimes the noodles in my opinion aren’t that spicy but I put in quite a bit of brown sugar you don’t have to follow the recipe directly but DO NOT ADD A LOT OF SOY SAUCE. your noodles will end up too salty. It definitely depends on ur spice tolerance too
@@ferret7729 ahh okay. Thank you! I'm south Asian so I have quite a high spice tolerance. Just wondering, idk how knowledgeable you are with South Asian food but do you think it would perhaps suit my food palette. I'm sorry I'm just really picky 😅

what type of veggies?
@@tays8782 broccoli, cauliflower, red and green bell pepper, mushroom and onion
Okay this is the first ramen recipe I have found online that ACTUALLY tastes good. Thank you so much!!
Honestly you could get similar taste, even more superior, from “Indomie Mi Goreng” seasoning and the garlic oil that come with it. It has the combination of sweet (from sweet soy sauce/kecap manis), salty (from dry seasoning packet), spicy (from chili paste/sambal), and extra crunchiness from the fried shallots! 😋
So your tip is to basically use processed ramen flavour packs instead of fresh ingredients lol
omfg I LOVE that ramen I'm literally addicted it's so good

I was about to make this recipe but now I read this I may just use the Indomie seasoning lmao
@@a.j.1819 Some of those flavor packs really be good with fresh stuff. Also from the looks of the video the person used processed noodles.

This taste so good!!! 1000/10
was so excited to create this that i forgot that i had to boil the noodles

I tried this with what I had. A certified masterpiece new way to eat ramen♥️
If you have teriyaki use that instead of soy! And you can use a sweet bbq rub instead of whatever seasoning she listed after the egg! Soooo so good!
I substituted the crushed peppers for finely chopped green chili, and decided to make it an egg drop ramen instead of cooking the egg with the sauce.
Sounds delicious!!

I made my own recipe a while back. Almost the exact same thing as this. It really adds to the whole thing if you add curryspice and soya sauce :D👍
did u use something else instead of red pepper flakes?? i really need to know
@@fzelt Yeah, I don't have any red pepper flakes at home, so I usually just add a bit of chili instead (the pulver) works as well :D

I tried this, changed a few things like instead of the red peper flakes I put siracha. TRY THIS RECIPE ITS AMAZING YOU WILL NOT GET ENOUGH
Honestly, just buy Indome Goreng. You don't need any fresh ingredients and it's the only sweet/spicy noodle you'll ever need or want to make again. Plus it's like 40 cents per pack!
smart!
This was exactly what I thought at first. This is how I make Indomie, although instead of brown sugar I use oyster sauce and it's hecka delicious
So your tip is to use processed ramen flavour packs instead of fresh ingredients lol ? Great tip. And I say this as someone who does like indomie ramen.
this is for people (like me) who wanna make something to eat with what they have. i don’t feel like going outside right now.
This is not available in some countries
I just tried it again and it's great. Though i would recommend to add half a tablespoon of Oyster sauce and 3/4's of a tablespoon of kikkoman stir fry sauce! (The bigger green green label bottle)
If you don't have fresh garlic then garlic powder or garlic butter works just as well!
Wait so is stir fry sauce just soy sauce ?
@@hikoreee No the branded stir fry sauce has a some of these ingredients in it already but it adds extra flavor and is already in a sauced form, and it has other ingredients you'd want in dry noodles like this. Like Vinegar, Mirin and Ginger but its already in a sauce form. Think of it as adding a solidified stock to a sauce or a soup lol
This is really similar to how I make mine! But I don’t mix the egg in! I put it on top! Sunny side up! I’ve never tried brown sugar, imma do it!!! I LOVE RAMEN!!!
I hope you enjoyed this one! ❤️
This was really really good. I added oyster sauce instead of brown sugar and it tasted amazing. I'm literally addicted. I ate this thrice last week already.

@@EasyPeasyPan ty!
SOOOO GOOD! I used 2 packs of Raman, threw out the spice packs, cooked the ramen just about to ready, and strained. then heated some butter in a separate pan, once melted I added a decent bit of minced garlic from a bottle, teriyaki sauce/marinade instead of soy, sprinkled ground red pepper, an egg size pile of brown sugar, added the ramen and a table spoon of water, mixed well, added an egg and mixed that in then added some sweet bbq rub and let it simmer to fry the noodles a bit. I didn't have onion but it came out sooooo so good! Took 7 minutes maybe and was 10000x better than any regular Ramen and peanut butter or ramen with an egg bs I saw people make in college lmao
❤️❤️❤️

❤️❤️
this is the best noodles i've ever had!! i also put half talblespoon of oyster sauce instead of the brown sugar and it was just so delicious, thank you so much!!
My thoughts:
I just made this (without the chili flakes) and it was pretty good. I didn’t like how the brown sugar made it that sweet so I added more soy sauce at the end, and that did the trick. I cooked mine to long so it got a little dry, so much sure not to overkook yours. 6/10 would try this again.
Edit: 6 months later made this a second time but didn’t add brown sugar and added 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. I thought it was better because you still got the spicy essence but not to much. I did a little more soy sauce though because I didn’t like how dry out it was (I added water). Next time I’m gonna try it without the egg.
Same. I dont like chilli flakes so I didnt add but becausee of brown sugar, it turned out sweet and mild spicy. Still delishh
I just finished making this and I'm eating it as I type! If you were on the fence about this before, go for it! This is v yummy.
Also, I left out the egg because I wanted mine to be more like a snack than a meal.
What can i replace the soy sauce with?
@@kawtarnouar2914 Oyster sauce, Fish sauce, Tamari etc. Google Soy Sauce alternatives if you don't have the things I mentioned.
They are super yummy! But personally I would add less brown sugar because it’s a little too sweet for my liking! But otherwise it’s great thank you! 💕
Sugar is to balance flavor though like adding pinch of salt to hot cocoa.. brown isn’t as sweet as white sugar.
Is the brown sugar even necessary? I read the last comment, but I ain’t about sweet noods. I like hot spicy noods
@@johnburke1738 I am the exact same! Hence why I think I wasn’t a huge favor of the brown sugar, but at the end of the day, it’s about preference and personal taste

I replaced soy sauce with teriyaki sauce, and I didn’t add the egg, It turned out very good! A little bit too sweet for my taste though. Next time I’ll probably use less brawn sugar and I need to try this out with egg. Very tasty, easy and quick recipe💖💖💖
Yay! Thank you for stopping by❤️
It was too sweet because you used teriyaki instead of soy. lol
Just made this it was bomb asf… the only thing I would say is put a little bit of Worcester sauce in with the soy sauce it really adds some more flavor and then also to mix the noodles as soon as you drop the egg it makes the noodles almost creamy and yummy. Also dont overcook you noodles, you can also undercook them a little because you are going to thrown them back on heat with the sauce.
I didn’t have ramen so I was making spaghetti turn into ramen (by adding baking soda to the spaghetti when it’s cooking) and I needed a sauce and this sounds amazing
