- DD15, CAM replacement because of damaged an injector seal due to over torque. This caused the seal to leak oil, the customer tried to stop the leak and did a good job but decided to replace the CAM housing.
In this video I will show the removal and preparation.

Good bro
do you ever use plastigage when rebuilding an engine? also, thanks for the video and the motion sickness lol.
I have not used a plastigage when rebuilding. Now as far as the motion sickness, I try to film from the first person point of view. I believe it shows more detail. I don’t like when the camera is off to the side.
@@CarlosDieselElectric thank you once again for the videos!!!

Do you know if when buying brand new cambox.does the brackets come with it or are they sold separately
The CAM comes complete with brackets, CAM seal and injector line seals. You will need to purchase the HI pressure lines from the pump to the rail.
There is a core charge so make sure you are saving the old parts.
@Pedro Fuentes thanx i really appreciate that.
How istaled the exhist rocket ARM train
great video. quick question, my mechanic replaced my def metering unit on my 2013 freightliner with a dd15. ever since that got replaced I'm consuming very little def. I filled it up and I've driven over 2k miles and it still shows that it's full. is that normal?
Your Def pump is probably not working
Try doing a DEF quantity test using your DDDL software. Depending on the type of DEF pump, you can doing ADS test and see what the numbers are.
@@CarlosDieselElectric my def pump gave out a long time ago and I replaced it but it actually showed a fault code saying it was my def pump. it's not showing a def pump code it's showing 2 different codes for the nox efficiency.
@@jorgefacio690 NOx efficiency will go down if there isn’t enough DEF being delivered during the regen process.
I am looking for a dd15 cam box, can’t find one anywhere. Would you have any leads?
