Nah, Bruce Lee vs Joe Lewis. For people unfamiliar with the history of full-contact Karate & Kickboxing: Joe Lewis was the most successful full-contact competitive fighter of the 70's, friend of Bruce Lee and the inspiration for Ken Masters from Street Fighter. Joe Lewis was famous for wearing a red karate gi in tournaments.
@@doublep1980really? I had heard that it was because Street fighter wasn't selling in the US as mortal combat for example, several things from Japan didn't sell well in the US and so they decided to make the American version of Ryu which was Ken and yes, Street fighter started selling well in the USA
Seeing a "Bruce Lee" imitation in a video game with a 3D engine was the very reason I wanted an orignal PlayStation system back in the 90s as it was the only system that would support the Tekken games. I never thought then the Tekken series would endure such a long legacy to this day.
What I like about this Tekken video is that the sparks lights and colours aren’t too bright, so you can actually see the moves clearly, sometimes the too sparky and bright colours doesn’t let me distinguish whether it was a kick or a punch
One thing I love about current Tekken games is how many flinch and stagger animations the characters have. 0:23 alone has 3 stagger animations in quick succession.
Paul new moves look great, you really are reminded that he does judo and kempo. I really hope they give him an interaction with kazuya and make him into a more serious character.
Paul is a beast, when it comes to counter attacks. The only fighter, in my opinion, that can off time him is Yoshimitsu. It depends on who is playing of course, like all fighting games. It's funny how Paul is Kazuya's rival but in reality, Paul could destroy him with his move set, haha.
I love that you decided to do Laws u+3 into full crouch ub+3+4. That looked sexy! It also makes me sad that they ruined his iconic high backflip from his Tekken 2 ending. He can no longer go straight up or even land it in full crouch. He cant even go backwards now unless you do the version you did where he lands on his back. I don't understand why they decided to ruin it.
This was beautifully choreographed 👌🏾...I would love to see Steve's sways/dodging weaving against probably Azucena although I dislike the char but her sways and dance dodges would fit nicely, please do one in the future, would be a good watch. 🙏🏾
It's so crazy to me how Bruce Lee and his Jeet Kune Do fighting style has essentially inspired fighting games to the point where damn near every fighting game has a Bruce Lee inspired character.
Best part about this is it's accurate to the characters. Law is extremely skilled but Paul isn't a slouch, he's got one hell of a punch and an underdog spirit that's tenacious and makes the most of every hit he gets in
Choreographed Tekken is a lot of fun to watch
This is just TAS bro..
whats Tas?@@jeanvaljean6433
@@jeanvaljean6433
Doesn't he just record a ghost or something that he strings combos of then he plays the other side in response?
@@redline841 It is straight up not possible to do that, unless he perfectly memorized hundreds of inputs and executed them with zero mistakes
@@jeanvaljean6433
He could just re-record until he got what he wanted. Idk man, he had a video of how he does it

Paul catching Law with the running 2 mid Somersault brought a tear to my eye.
Law: “We call it the Art of Fighting without Fighting.”
Paul: “You got that from Bruce Lee?”
Law: “...Yes.”
Law: I've also been cosplaying him for years you're just noticing this now?!
I AM HIM - Law
Paul: You are POOR.

No they're actually toned down. Have fun looking at a Kazuya versus Jin fight, for example
The side stepping in this game is so smooth
Like Water
Paul really got nice counters, such as when he caught Law's Rainbow Kick. Law's punch parry is in the thumbnail, but not in the fight play.
Did they remove his parry from the game?
@@jkdim4 No. They only changed the command. It was originally b+1+2 and it got changed to b+2+4 because of the addition of Dragon Stinger.
I smiled so hard at that counter
good catch
@@XiaoGegehe had two types of parries in tekken 3, the one you mentioned and the other hidden in his boxing shuffle
Tekken characters talking mid fight will never not be fucking sick to me 🔥 Nice vid
Clean, can't wait for tekken 8 to come out.
Yeah, on fit girl😂

Does fit girl include online play?
@@TonioTonius if it's sarcasm then haha very funny. If not then no it doesn't have online
1 more day buddy
I never thought Paul can do such a smooth gameplay
Same

0:15 removing all the god awful heat stink lines and anime dash makes the game look so much better. God damn why couldn't we just have this instead.
Literally Chuck Norris vs Bruce Lee :D
I think this ost was used in Akuma vs Chameleon. Or Dead Fantasy brings me back! Either way dope video! So sick!
It was actually from Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the PSP.
Hall of Fate from Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection
I’ve never seen anyone use sidestep (or whatever it’s called) this much in 1 game.
It's choreographed. Although this video does help me figure out which moves I can sidestep from Law and Paul.
It would be insane if Tekken was actually played this way!
Paul new moves look great, you really are reminded that he does judo and kempo. I really hope they give him an interaction with kazuya and make him into a more serious character.
Wow this game is a big upgrade , good work Namco!
I forget how cool tekken is when i play this game so often and take its uniqueness for granted
"Empty your mind. Be formless, and shapeless, like water." Bruce Lee
Chuck Norris & Bruce Lee in Tekken Universe
IT'S GETTING PHATTER AND PHATTER AS IT GOES ON 👍👍👍
Paul is arguably one of the best counter specialists in the Tekken Spectrum he seems to have an answer for everything. Law is just pure entertainment.

Smoothest Tekken match I have ever seen
This is giving me Tekken 4 vibes. Man do I miss this. 🙌🏾
How so
This is the best fight in Tekken I've ever seen and I've been there since the beginning
I hope you go viral bro💯🔥🔥🔥
Que grandes los dos, Paul & Law. Son como Chuck Norris y Bruce Lee
Can’t lie that was sick!
OMG that was sick!! please do more!!!!
I'm sorry Paul was moving so smooth with dodging and side stepping. High five 🙏 respect!
This is beautiful.
I hope that there will be a way to manipulate the camera during recorded fights, that way we can make fully cinematic fights with cool camera angles.
Unreal engine unlocker is your best bet

The most beautiful moves ever seen
GG, and I def approve this message 🌊
This is some of the best dodging I've ever seen in a tekken match
Instructions unclear, i became like syrup instead.
Loving that they gave paul such a nice cool factor - the hair ofc lol
dang, that Stomp throw-back from the late great Bruce!
bruce lee in that 70s outfit is beyond epic
that looked fucking amazing !!!!!!!!! truly an upgrade wtfffff
This is beautiful tekken
I’m shamelessly channel watching for your next upload 💀
Awesome !!!
be wotah my friend.
Classic Paul never fails!
Looking really good
Looks like virtua fighter when played like this 🔥
Way to represent my boy Law.
It's actually really ironic! Bruce always said be like water however he took this saying a little to far and died from Hyponatremia.
can't wait to see what you can make with Reina!
~be water my friend
make me sway, be like water
Fantastic❤❤❤❤❤
When a law player fixes their router for the first time

This Tekken looks so damn good
Marshall Lee shouts as if he was dubbed by Didddy Kong
The stage suit Bruce Lee's quote. 🥶
Somebody cracked the demo
this video sold me on tekken 8 harder than any of the actual marketing for the game
This gameplay was better then all the tekken gameplay trailers
Water doesn't dodge kicks and punches. It just eats em. I know, I punched water in the face before.
Akuma vs Chameleon. Only the OGs will get the reference.
Hall of Fate remix 😂
law becomes puddle in the end
This is what non Tekken player expecting on how tekken should be played by pro player.
There are sections when they actually do just that... it usually ends after 2 of them in a launcher though
Tekken 8 looks so much cleaner and easier to actually SEE than previous games. I hate the overdone bright colorful effects, I WANNA SEE THEM MOVES.
Wow an action movie made out of tekken. Nice!
Man i gotta get back into Tekken. Ain't fully played since Tekken 5 and that was the Dark Resurrection one for PSP. Barely played 6.
It's so crazy to me how Bruce Lee and his Jeet Kune Do fighting style has essentially inspired fighting games to the point where damn near every fighting game has a Bruce Lee inspired character.
Thats how best friends do sparing.
Paul acting like a Judo Martial artist makes me happy
WTF highest level of gaming I've ever seen 😮
That mid air grab tho
