- How Scar’s Grandfather BRAINWASHED Him Into Becoming A Villain
Like most villains throughout history and media, there’s a good chance that Scar didn’t just become evil overnight. In fact, it probably took years to develop the intense anger and resentment that Scar felt toward Mufasa and his Pride in The Lion King. If Scar had been manipulated by someone else as some theories suggest, then he might have never even had a chance to be “the good guy” in his story. In a minute, I’m going to be exploring a theory that considers the idea of Scar possibly being brainwashed by his Grandfather into becoming a villain. This theory takes a mixture of facts and information taken from The Lion King movies, TV shows, books, and even fan fiction, so it’s worth noting that none of this should be considered 100 percent canon. As always, take everything in this theory with a grain of salt, and let’s have some fun!

He was abuse by his father and I think it’s because scar doesn’t look like his father but more like his mother base on the fur color he has his father’s mane but his mother fur color and green eyes from his father as for mufasa he has scar’s father’s fur color but a different mane color and different eye colors. And the rest of what your saying is true about ahidi and mufasa that they both share the same life style.
not abused but more strict
Yea true
I felt this but that strictness can get abusive
Yeah Scar looks like Ahadi with dark fur and Mufasa looks like Uru with bright fur
Oddly enough, your theory may cannonize what we hear of Scar's back story in Lion Guard the Lion you mentioned as the "grandfather" of scar looked remarkablely like the strange Lion scar said he met when he had run his Lion guard.
I don't think it was just 1 factor that made Scar a villain. I think it was a combo of many things happening in his life, though the main catalyst would've been the death of his mom.
True
Scar was neglected and burdened by Ahadi (Mufasa and Scar’s father). Uru loved both of her sons equally but mostly Scar because Ahadi always favored and glorified Mufasa to be the next king. Mufasa and Scar was close at some point when they were young but until they both liked Sarabi that’s when they turned against each other
None of that bs is canon At all
@ Whatever bro, just your opinion👍🏼
Absolutely correct. Nailed it
Mufasa movie aint cannon@@SupportGamin2025
Great video, it's a very interesting theory
No, I don’t think scar was born evil. It would have to be someone that really had a lot of anger in hate to put that on the small little cub in overtime and manifest into what we have and what we know us the greatest villain of all time.
Edit What is the quote about being born evil?
The quote 'No one is born evil, but many people are born ready to act evilly' implies that evil is a man-made concept. It highlights the idea that some people may have more of a predisposition to act in an immoral way, but it is ultimately the individual's choice as to whether or not they take that action.
This is a great video you made
Choyo partecipated to make Taka/Askari II a villain!
I'm pretty sure that there was a lion in a flashback story in The Lion Guard named Choyo whom Scar mentioned when talking about how he got his scar.
It's been a While since I've seen your Amazing Thought-Provoking Videos, Deluxe!
Great theory deluxe keep up the good work and BE PREPARED!!...sorry guys i had to 🦁🦁🤣🤣
No that's not true in the new movie mufasa was not rightful king
Lol not for Obasi's Kingdom. However, he alone was the King of Milele
This is different Version than the Movie. This Cartoon came from the book. The Tale of 2 Brothers
😮😮😮😮😮 i can't believe this it is so shocking, but i think there are many factors or things that made scar a villian
I think that Choyo is the mysterious lion that scar met who tricked him into destroying the lion guard. NOT
ONLY does Choyo look like the mysterious lion, but Choyo means greed. it just makes sense.
Poor Scar he got abused as a cub 😢 poor lion
Scar was never abused, all of that is fan made lies
I want a redemption ark for Scar he my favorite
Me too
I can't wait to see the new lion king movie release
CHOYO
we are lions!
Yes
YES
He loved both of this son's
Who’s here after watching Mufasa?
Ahadi saw himself in scar thats why he hated the poor cub.
4:41 is sad
Wait Ahadi was mentioned In the first movie
No he was never mentioned in the first movie at all,Ahadi is a made up character from the books non canon
None of the stories from the books are canon to the movies
Mufasa and scar not real brothers mufasa not was royalty but scar parents name is obasi and ESHA mufasa parents name is masego and afia That's is mufasa parents
Mufasa: The Lion King is a sequel to 2019's Lion King. These are not the same universes.
