Mira on demon time where he barely looks at chat, looks away from screen, or blinks and makes melodies faster than you can even process what he’s doing😭
it's more like NOT knowing it but having it naturally run through ur veins because he made melodies for years and years. He just has a feel for the intervalls if you'd ask him to explain what he's doing i doubt that he could tell you the theory on why that works exactly.
@@Wurldz yea you worded that nicely, that's exactly what i meant tho, i haven't mentioned anything about ears, if you read between the lines the point i made was more like "intervalls bruh" since its in my opinion the essence of music theory as a whole combined with rhytm of course. But in the end its all about context and that's what intervalls and rhytm dictate. It's all about patterns, internalizing a huge amount of different patterns and understanding how everything is connected not understanding a small note or chord you are zooming into. I am all for music theory i am self thought and i spend a good amount of time everyday to further internalize things and learn more about music theory. In no way i would discourage anyone to learn as much about music theory as they can, it only has advantedges. But from watching Nick a bunch i know that if you'd ask him why he likes that chord over that one or why he used this or that out of key note, he wouldn't give you a music theory answer like say adam neely would give you or rick beato, nah he would just say something alone the lines of "yea well i just did that stuff for so long i basically know which notes to click because i know my intervalls and i have a feeling for rhytm" ofc he knows the very basic shit and could tell you about it, but he wouldn't be able to tell you about counter point or modal interchange cos he doesn't care about the words for it he's just using it. Music Theory is just the attempt to explain, mostly based on classical music, it's not whats really going on tho. Not learning theory doesn't neccesarily make you a worse musician and learning music theory doesn't neccesarily make you a better musician. Wanna make some music? im down :D
It's all through the amount of practice he put himself through. He was talented to start forsure, but he's one of the best because he practices so much. If you can't stay focused, you gotta force yourself at first, it'll become more natural with time.
