    Another useful video. The case that you use is low profile, low wind resistance. Perfect and relatively inexpensive. I have subscribed.

      Yeah, i really like it! I've been using it for lighter duty things like fishing rods!

    Thanks for the video.. how's the box holding up as far as being waterproof?

      I never had issues yet but I do park it inside. Even on heavy rain days, never really had an issue with it.

    Nylon in the locking nut isn’t a gasket. If you want your box sealed apply some silicone to the holes for a water tight seal. Otherwise you may be inviting damp moist humidity inside (could be an issue),

      hasn't been an issue for me yet but i do park in the garage. i added some rubber washers though. it's probably not sealed but it's good enough for me

    Looks good! How is holding so far? Thinking of doing the same thing then mounting some solar panel on top of it.

      Still up there haha. Holding up well! I’m looking for a solar panel on top also. Check out my solar panel video!

      PhoRunner Channel just saw your solar panel vid and currently watching sleeper series. Same concept with mine. Table, sliding platform and drawer. I guess 3rd gen owners think alike. Lol

    Do you think you could mount two on the rack? I'm going this route on my 5th gen

      Opening both might be problematic but one at a time should work

    For everyday use do you keep the box installed?

    • @PhoRunner
      @PhoRunner  3 роки тому +1

    They are such a great storage idea but they are so damn expensive, especially here in Australia :/

    • @PhoRunner
      @PhoRunner  2 роки тому

      Bummer! I paid $90 usd for it

      @@PhoRunner wow, that box would be $350 by the time it lands here. Exchange rate, import duty, sales tax and freight make most US sourced products waaaay too expensive :/
