Ally, I've been practicing with you for 4 years now. At first, I needed to sleep and your videos helped me through the night. I never could have imagined all the gifts yoga nidra would bring into my life. One of the gifts is being able to return to dancing and exercise. Thank you Ally. To anyone thinking of trying this for stress please give it a go. I have been doing these types of meditations for years. Today I was stressed literally out of my mind by work, theft of my bicycle, family squabbles and more. So stressed I thought eff it I need to down a whole bottle of red wine to get relaxed. But then I thought no do an hour long yoga nidra first and you can have the bottle of wine after if still need it. Well I won't be drinking wine after now 👍😊🙏🕊 this is so much better and no negative health impact ❤

Dear Ally, I’m grateful and indebted to you. I’ve practice with for a few years now and have had many spiritual moments during your YN. I’m on a support team on a winter endurance race working long winter nights for 7 days. I decided I would I would use YN to aid my rest. It’s all I’ve used for 3 days with only 3.5hrs of YN rest. I’ve tried to sleep but can’t. I practiced this on today and my experience was beyond profound. As I woke out of my deep rest and became conscious I breakdown and wept uncontrollably like a baby. They weren’t tears of sadness though. The only way I can find to describe it was like being reborn or like I’d woken up in some else body. It’s been a little confusing to say the least. I asked my daughter to read my tarot and the card the presented itself was the 14 of temperance. You a dear to me Ally love and peace 🙏💕
This body scan meditation was truly AMAZING!! I only slept 2 hours last night and I decided to do this meditation this monrning to relax my body so that I could sleep. Not only did I fall into a deep sleep, I went into another state of consciousness that I recalled with clear specificity when I came out of it. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!! I'll definitely be back for more.

First time really “feeling” it. At about 45 minutes in, I felt a huge wave release (unfurl?)from my ears down to my toes. And then a few more smaller waves. The strangest sensation, but wonderful at the same time. Thank you for your amazing guidance, this was a Nidra experience like no other. 😘 1:05:29
Update... 😄...I practiced this morning shortly before heading off for my hydrotherapy session. I'm sure I was able to stretch more deeply and do the difficult exercises more easily than usual. Thank you, Ally. This lengthy practice was something I have been really hoping for. I love your videos and the longer they are, the more I have to stay with it and resist the mind and the restlessness. I felt into more fully this time and chose it at the time of the full moon. I felt the sensations that prevent me from relaxing fully and allowed them to be present rather than resisting them. You are a wonderful teacher and a blessing to us. Thank you 🙏
I love your videos and have been sleeping alongside them for months now. I'm realizing though how much of a challenge it is to do Yoga nidra with a cold. That nasal breathing is just not happening tonight. 😅 love the encouragement to change positions at the beginning of the video!
Thank you for this. I have had insomnia for the last 9 months (no deep sleep whatsoever) and after 2 nights of this practice my sleep has already improved to by I think at least 1 sleep cycle

I’ve don’t this mediation a dozen times. It’s incredibly. I love the soundtrack. It helps a great deal with allowing me to drop in. For some reason though, I never make it to the end. I wake up at around 30-40 min mark and can’t get back into it. But wow! It’s such potent medicine ❤

Namaste! 🙏 June 18 at 7:30 A.M. That was so deeply relaxing, and I was awake for most of it. The guidance around the eyes and that related to the core of bone marrow and such was allowing deep-seated tensions to begin to release and dissolve away on their own. As I reached the breaths, my mind was vanishing as well. Aside from bathroom breaks due to drinking water since the room was dry (I will need to make adjustments), this practice is the perfect length for early in the morning. Thank you, Ally!

I was able to get to 44th minute only, because the session was so profound that it awakened some deep pain inside of me and i cried a lot after the session. My therapist says it’s my process of healing. Thank you Ally for your work
Hi Ally, Thank you so much. I am in module two focussing on the annamaya kosha and this nidra helps. I set an intention to love and accept my body and listen to what she needs, trusting in the wisdom of the body. For this one I experimented with a supported backbend savasana, that kept me awake, but turned out to not be comfortable for an hour (the bolster became too hard for the back of my head), so I've learned something here. I felt myself going in dreaming and deep sleep states, slow brainwaves. Noticing this I could plant some extra seeds of wellness. I will bookmark this one and come back to it when I created a yoga nidra savasana nest outside of my bed and know for certain I can stay awake, because I suspect that this one will sent me right to sleep if I do it in my bed and in sideline position. This one is very relaxing and healing, I suspect it works wonders for the nervous system. 🙏❤️🙏 thank you Namasté

Ally. Module 2 student here. I had one of my worst nights of sleep last night and chose to do this during my workday instead of a nap. I did shift in and out of sleep quite a bit but by the end, feel so much better than when I started. Thank you! ❤

This experience for me was extremely intense. At the end of the rest when I came back to consciousness again and was kind of in (what can be explained as) a subconscious state, I felt slightly uncomfortable, I wanted to finish off before the end and just leave, yet I forced myself to stay with the experience and that’s when I noticed tears arriving in between my eyes. I tried to open up to the experience and that just took me off the charts. I felt literally like getting soul surgery done. It felt like deep, strong powers would go through my body giving me a tingling sensation as if scanning fully through every cell of the body, and here it happened that pictures of my negative past came to cross my mind and I just naturally nurtured and supported that harmed part of myself by stating silently in my head: “You belong.”, “You are loved”, “I got you.” “I’ve gotten strong enough to carry the both of us.”, “I’ll take care of you now.”, “It’s okay, everything is okay.” And before I knew it my tears were streaming and I felt a deep sense to cry deeply and strongly. It was really a rejuvenating experience where I believe that traumas from the past were literally taken out of me or were taken care of by some spiritual forces that were moving in and out of me. I tried to trust deeply in the spiritual force I was experiencing and tried to allow myself to really ‘feel’ into the experience. It just took me deeper and deeper and deeper. Until there was just calm and a deeply grateful feeling left inside me. I really felt touched by a deeper, greater force. I feel truly blessed and forever grateful. Thank you Ally for being able to bring me in contact with whatever this experience was. Thank you a thousand times.

Hi Allly. Thanks so much for doing this. I love it and will be purchasing it for download. I discovered yoga nidra while dealing with and healing pelvic pain and dysfunction. I would love this same practice that spends more time exploring the pelvis and thoracic muscles and their relationship. That criss cross realtionship between should and hips. TLDR:. 1:05:29 Your practices have given me hundreds of hours of escape from the daily suffering and a tool for relaxing my body and calming my nervous system and mind. These rotation of consciousness practices help me recognize where I'm holding tension and I can tell my body workers and physical therapists which directs their care too.

I was able to get to 44th minute only, because the session was so profound that it awakened some deep pain inside of me and i cried a lot after the session. My therapist says it’s my process of healing. Thank you Ally for your work

I am in module two focussing on the annamaya kosha and this nidra helps. I set an intention to love and accept my body and listen to what she needs, trusting in the wisdom of the body.
For this one I experimented with a supported backbend savasana, that kept me awake, but turned out to not be comfortable for an hour (the bolster became too hard for the back of my head), so I've learned something here.
I felt myself going in dreaming and deep sleep states, slow brainwaves. Noticing this I could plant some extra seeds of wellness.
I will bookmark this one and come back to it when I created a yoga nidra savasana nest outside of my bed and know for certain I can stay awake, because I suspect that this one will sent me right to sleep if I do it in my bed and in sideline position.
This one is very relaxing and healing, I suspect it works wonders for the nervous system.

Ally. Module 2 student here. I had one of my worst nights of sleep last night and chose to do this during my workday instead of a nap. I did shift in and out of sleep quite a bit but by the end, feel so much better than when I started. Thank you! ❤

This experience for me was extremely intense. At the end of the rest when I came back to consciousness again and was kind of in (what can be explained as) a subconscious state, I felt slightly uncomfortable, I wanted to finish off before the end and just leave, yet I forced myself to stay with the experience and that’s when I noticed tears arriving in between my eyes.
I tried to open up to the experience and that just took me off the charts. I felt literally like getting soul surgery done. It felt like deep, strong powers would go through my body giving me a tingling sensation as if scanning fully through every cell of the body, and here it happened that pictures of my negative past came to cross my mind and I just naturally nurtured and supported that harmed part of myself by stating silently in my head: “You belong.”, “You are loved”, “I got you.” “I’ve gotten strong enough to carry the both of us.”, “I’ll take care of you now.”, “It’s okay, everything is okay.” And before I knew it my tears were streaming and I felt a deep sense to cry deeply and strongly. It was really a rejuvenating experience where I believe that traumas from the past were literally taken out of me or were taken care of by some spiritual forces that were moving in and out of me. I tried to trust deeply in the spiritual force I was experiencing and tried to allow myself to really ‘feel’ into the experience. It just took me deeper and deeper and deeper. Until there was just calm and a deeply grateful feeling left inside me. I really felt touched by a deeper, greater force. I feel truly blessed and forever grateful. Thank you Ally for being able to bring me in contact with whatever this experience was. Thank you a thousand times.

Hi Allly. Thanks so much for doing this. I love it and will be purchasing it for download. I discovered yoga nidra while dealing with and healing pelvic pain and dysfunction. I would love this same practice that spends more time exploring the pelvis and thoracic muscles and their relationship. That criss cross realtionship between should and hips. TLDR:. 1:05:29 Your practices have given me hundreds of hours of escape from the daily suffering and a tool for relaxing my body and calming my nervous system and mind. These rotation of consciousness practices help me recognize where I'm holding tension and I can tell my body workers and physical therapists which directs their care too.
