@@flat4-or you could argument that they should ban ppl trying to set fast lap times during TF. Its called tourist driving for a reason. That said, the guy in the Cayman should have checked his mirrors and let him pass. He was clearly not very familiar with the circuit nor the car.
@@frankberben-grsfjeld4726 indeed. Both reasons why I skip this year to come over. Also the amount of wannabe street racers at the surround roads and specially the ED tankstelle heroes….. But luckily I have 2 Eifel road books from a great editor ! 🥶 choice enough for a good drive….
A power to weight ratio of far below 4 kg per hp is plenty fast enough, if you ask me. Yes, it could have more power on the long uphill section towards "Mutkurve", but this is the only part where I would feel a bit underpowered. And thanks to the low weight you can bring so much momentum out of the corners. The Cayman driver is an absolute disgrace, absolutely selfish driving there. It is only for these occassions you would yearn for a "double the power for 10 seconds" button in the car. And before I end this comment, I want to say: Exceptionally good driving, as always on this channel. Stay safe.
With the aero of a brick, I wouldn't be surprised if the MX5 and Caterham were equally fast (err, I mean slow?) above 120 kph. Wonder if there are some acceleration curves out there...
Always that one rental which can't stand the idea of being overtaken, self-proclaimed king of the ring.
That is why hey should ban rental boxes in the weekend. They are mobile chicanes....
Bro thinks he's hot shit just because he's faster on the straights. You can tell OP was really held back by him

@@flat4-😂 thanks! I also try to avoid the track when its busy and go for a drive on the local roads 👍🏻. So many fun roads to explore!
Wow this car is surprisingly stable in high speed corners. Very nice lap
Intense ring lap, that car is so raw. You even had the perfect weather at the ring. Amazing footage man!
Was amused when the car in front zoomed off at the end - the slowest people around the track are always the fastest down Dottinger Hohe! :)
Wow that lap was smooth ❤❤
great downshifts!
Great run. That car looks like a blast to drive, especially in the corners.
Looks so fun to drive
too bad the porsche didn't want to let you by
Enough power? Yes. But indeed enough driving skills!

It lacks aero but still was very stable at high speed. Sector 3 could have been so much faster without that Porsche
Nice one mate! What's the steering lock on one of these?
When the driver checked his harness, I thought they were doing the "sign of the cross" after that tail slide.
was the red 992 gt3 at 2:12 a cup car? It just walks away from anything, during turns and in straights, like everything else are obstacles
"just" a GT3RS
Well driven. You caught up with the Caymen but he didnt seem to want you passing?
stable overall except for the side mirror!
170hp is enough in a Civic let alone a Caterham.
That Cayman clearly knows how to drive :)
Not really, he barely knew the limits.
@@YoSuey It's sarcastic.
Well - if MX-5NC with that engine is good enough for Nords... and you take 600kg's from it... yea - it's even better for Nords :D

Its a shame the uk is making so many mandates to remove cars like these from existence. I hope they fail and the ev push goes away
Je možný, že tohle auto často vídám v ulici K Pazderkám? :) V Troji/Bohnicích
I tried to get in one but i'm 190cm and i can't fit 😢
You can get a widebody (sv) with lowered floors. I'm 196 and fit without issues.
@@stevenl9788 thank you i didn't know that
Track toy.
