Thank you Jason for showing and sharing my beloved country of Taiwan. You always do a fantastic job and I have followed you where ever you go. All the best my friend.
I've learned a lot watching your video. It's great you shared and did research on the countries history when you put your video together, thanks for sharing!
I used to live in Taiwan (mainly Taipei but traveled around the whole island) for a year not too long ago. Thank you for the video, brings back some of the best memories of my life, the Taiwanese are some of the friendliest people in the world and I truly believe this country has a lot to offer, such as the delicious cuisine! Thank you for showcasing its culture, you did a great job at it. I hope I get to stay in Taiwan a bit longer the next time!! :)
Enjoyed it, Great job! Informative and a great addition to the existing intro to Taipei UA-cam content. Looks like you had a nice stay here. Welcome back anytime.
Taiwan also has many beautiful scenery, and its delicious food amazes friends from all over the world, such as the Taroko Gorge in Hualien in the east and the thousand-year-old cypress in Alishan in the south.
Just be cautious with the bicyclists on the sidewalk pavements in Taipei. And remember that in Taiwan pedestrians are an afterthought in the minds of drivers.
Jason being so handsome in this video..surely Taipei looks amazing, but if you're coming from the other side of the world, like us in the States, not sure, if I'd equate it to Japan, or China, Thailand or even the Philippines as a solo destination... Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, these tiny territories, need to be paired with The other countries I've mentioned previously, like Japan to make the trip worth it.
@@JasonBillamTravel Im always convinced and approved of your brilliant video tours Jason, we just need the money to travel that far..lol! ..love your videos, feels like Im traveling the world.
Good info! But why making it more like a tourist-selfie? Why filming yourselves so much? Nothing personal, but maybe better showing more from the city instead? Just an idea, keep up the good work!
China is just a barking dog, no bombard for 60years in Taiwan, but shooting and terrorist attack happened in most western countries, and that's why foreigners living in Taiwan think Taiwan is safer.
no hahaha, that's propaganda that US and china play. People who know know, Taiwan is one of the safest place on earth, you never need to worry about invasion and needless to say piclpocketing.
It depends on how you define unsafe. China continues threatening Taiwan and the world for a long long time. I believe they will do it one day no matter how much it cost. But not today. Before it really happens one day, make Taiwan be seen by the world is the most important thing we can do.
Nice video. Nothing against your friend, but I personally prefer when you vlog alone because the presence of other cohosts is a bit distracting … takes the focus off your topic into inviting speculation about why the other person is there. The woman in Mexico, Gabe, now this woman. Their presence does not enhance learning about other countries, especially if you add another person looking at the camera. Watch it back yourself and see if you agree. It’s different if the added are locals from the area in which you are traveling. Stay focused and keep your eye on the travel aspect, instead of cohosts, unless you are introducing us to someone permanently like your wife. That’s just my opinion. Maybe I’m wrong.
Taipei is the capital city of the Republic of China or Taiwan Province, not of Taiwan as a country, because there is no country officially named Taiwan on this earth. Taiwan has only 2 meanings, Taiwan (Island), Taiwan (province of the Republic of China or the People' Republic of China), according to the constitutions of The Republic of China and The People's Republic of China。
This Americans really wants to divide the country. They support the parties that advocate the division of the country, because it is beneficial for them.
Cuba never had been the part of USA. There are absolutely different situations. Name of the country in this video Republic of China, not Taiwan, and it's not unite with mainland China bcs of civil war.
Daria knows some Chinese, she’s been studying and learning how to read and write. As for me - it’s fair to say it’s pretty rusty since living in Shanghai for a year in 2016.
I visited Taiwan and found it seriously underwhelming and lacking a distinct identity. It was a bland country honestly not worth visiting. Even the food was inferior to mainland Chinese food.
Did this video surprise you? Let me know what you think of Taipei in the comments below!
I prefer the seaside and the Buddhist temples. Taĩwan have so beautiful coastal areas !
I checked Taipei on Google Maps while listening to night core music when I was 11
Most of all I liked your couple with Dasha

pardon me, Jason. isn't Taiwan unsafe because of mainland China's incursions?
China is just a barking dog, no bombard for 60years in Taiwan, but shooting and terrorist attack happened in most western countries, and that's why foreigners living in Taiwan think Taiwan is safer.

Actually the only thing they can do is barking lol

@@newclhe thanks for the information, but I fear mainland China will make some maritime siege around Taiwan some day. 🤔

India is still India when they colonized by the kindom.
