The set is 1:18. Batmobile 13x5x3. Alfred 3 7/8 inches. Cat Woman 3 3/4 inches. The rest of the figures are within that range.

Great review! I have a few minor quibble with this set... the Batmobile has a 'matt' finish, but it should be shiny. I don't get why the back compartment opens but can't store anything - would have been better for the hood to open and accessories to fit inside. The front blade keeps popping out on mine. I think the computer banks, etc, should have been plastic. Finally, I think Batgirl and the Batcycle should have been included for a truly complete set. I know, I'm being ultra-picky :)
That’s a great point about the matte black. Totally escaped me. Lol. Adding Batgirl and cycle would’ve been outstanding. It would’ve pushed the price up but I think the value would’ve been there. I don’t want to break your Batmobile but maybe try to pull the hood ornament upward very gently. To try and snap it in an up position. Maybe that will stop the blade from popping out. And thank you for the quibble!

Definitely it’s the best toy Batmobile since the die cast Corgi one. That came out in the 60’s when I was a kid! I think this one was definitely inspired by the Corgi. The Corgi one even had rockets that shot out of the tubes.

Already got a tear in my Batman cape. Don’t know how when I’ve preserved it pretty well. Looking into getting someone to make custom capes for me
Bro very sorry to hear. How was he displayed? I keep mine seated in the Batmobile. So far so good. The new Superman they released has a stiff cape design.
@@HappyPursuits literally was just on the stand in my room chilling. Same as my old legacy collection at at that has a notoriously bridle rubber neck yet that has stood the test of time for years. I look at my Batman and Robin cause I enjoy these figures and just like to rearrange once in a while and come to find a tear in bats cape. Tried contacting Mezco to no avail. It might just be mine but still very sad. Wish they went the Superman route with the stiff cape. Rubber is the worst toy material idk what they were thinking

Thank you! I wonder about durability too bc the capes are super gummy and stretchy. Like they could tear easily if I’m not careful and snag them on something. They are also dust magnets bc of the gummy plastic. Lol. Feels cool to the touch though whatever that’s worth 😂.

Green Hornet! Mezco has some really good properties in this scale. There’s hope we might get them. I just got my shipping notice for the Superman set. Very excited
I wouldn't pay more than $70 for this set, particularly because the Batcave is just a glorified craft project I could create with MS paint and some cardstock at a fraction of the cost.
Idk if that’s fair tbh. There’s seven figures in the set. The Batmobile is very well constructed with great details and rubber wheels. And there’s a bunch of little figure accessories with an alternate head for Alfred. Imo the figures alone are valued at $80 on the low end. The Batmobile is the best in this scale and it could easily sell at $35-$40. But bottom line is like you said it’s only worth what someone personally values it at.
You have the sides reversed. The poles are on the left side the Batmobile exit door on the right. When put together that way it hides all the Velcro
Thanks you for the feedback and for watching. The Velcro can be covered no matter what side you place the exit. I put it that way bc I didn’t have clearance on the right side to display the Batmobile and to make a wider space for the video shoot.
I find it hilarious you had to tell him which sides are correct 😂 lol. Yeah , I guess it's like seeing Batman being reviewed without a cape . Lol

How thick and durable is the cardboard? Is it a set you open, set up and put in a case for fear of damage, or should it hold up over time?
The pieces are made of double ply cardboard w/ a small inner layer of the wavy cardboard. The pieces are thin but they are made of 3 layers. It's pretty stiff and snaps together when folded. It has a gloss layer over it also. If handled w/ care it feels durable enough to last.
Too bad there aren't figures of Batgirl, Commissioner Gordon, and Chief O'Hara in this line. They could have been individually carded and sold separately.
Agreed. Maybe they still will or maybe as a set.

I love that quote it’s easily one of my favorite quotes and I quoted all the time… I’m saving up my pennies so that I can get the Scooby Doo set that is available right now. That thing looks so cool. And I also want to get the universal monster set because I feel like that mansion might look cool Beside the Scooby Doo set.

Great set, but what I would like to know is, what scale is this made in? Is it 1:18, 1:24, 1:12, or 1:6? What are the actually measurements of the figures and the actual measurement of the Batmobile?

Great review! I wanted to see this before I buy either this one or the McFarlane set. Its a toss-up for me. I like the McFarlane figures but they are hard to get. The bat mobile to figure scale on McFarlane is also off. These come all in one purchase. The McFarlane plastic Batcave looks better quality than this one. Some of the other figures this comes with may never get made for McFarlane. Maybe the next wave will be more duplicates and not core characters. Hard to decide.
I’ve been looking at the Funko version that is stylized in chrome. I might pick that one up because I like Funko and ReAction figs. The Mcfarlane might look better with smaller figures now that I think about it. I like one difference on the Mezco is that the wheels have chrome instead of a flat gray. There’s a lot of metal chrome.
Get this one for the figures and the McFarlane for the actual cave and computers.

@@thescarletandgrey2505 that’s what I’m gonna do. McFarlane bat cave + mezzo figures = a better matching scale. I’m kinda waiting to see if Mezco will sale the figures separately. I definitely don’t want the 5points batcave.

I love the set but i was the victim of quality control, my batmobile is missing its headlights , just empty holes where the silver /orange panels should be🙁
Ah that stinks. I’ve gotten a cpl figs from Mezco that had two left feet before. I wrote them but didn’t get a response.
Yeh my bride of chucky tiffany had a backwards right arm , put me off buying mezco products now

Yes. That car is 1:18. Other figures could fit in it from 1:18.

Strange 2 heads for 1 doll. Children don't cate about that.
I believe these are aimed towards adult collectors. Kids today are more into video games.
