I actually picked up the Mcfarlane car and Batcave. Loved the look as it reminded me of the Corgi Batmobile triple pack with the Batmobile, Bat copter and Batboat that my gran bought me back in the 70s. Loved them. I'm planning on doing a modify of the Batmobile to paint extra details and now I'm going to remove the seat base... thanks for the tip.
its a great set i spotted the cave first and had to buy it ! its crying out to be modified too ! i'm not sure if the seat is glued in or cast in but i think lowering it that bit will give it a much better look. thanks as always for your comments stay safe and send me photos when you've done the mods ! have fun M
I was fortunate enough to score two Batcaves and Batmobiles....I think they are decent and I never really had playsets as a kid in the 70s so this hits all the nostalgia chords!
I got the mezco set...it's awesome I got batman with a super7 reaction figure of archie. Robin's been replaced 😆. Gotta pickup that batman archie crossover lol.
The whole point of the 5 point I believe is to have those old cardboard backdrops like the old starwars toys use to have...if you look at the other mezco 5points they all have beautiful sets with cool cardboard backdrops Ultraman, godzilla, Popeye, and still waiting on fleisher superman. I totally understand why you're not keen on the cardboard, I wouldn't want it destroy it so easily. I feel the mcfarlane batcave would make the mezco set better.
It’s just a bit of a disappointment after all the effort they put into the models, figures, packaging and accessories I thought they could have made it look a bit more like the McFarlane one, but that’s just me being super critical, really they are both epic toys in their own rights, and I think the better the toy the more imperfections it should have ! No toy should be perfect 😂😂😂 it keeps the imagination going and makes you want to upgrade ! hope you enjoyed the video thanks for commenting ! M
Up close it’s not really a great pint job either, but I have seen worse than mine though. It is a better detailed model but I like the charm of the other one, it’s so difficult because they both have their pros and cons! Use the McFarlane stuff as a backdrop to the Mezco - even better! My one issue with the Mezco Batmobile, is that it has a matt finish - Batmobile just doesn't look right without a gloss finish to me.

Dunno where you got those items from but the Mezco set I bought for £124.99 (and they still have them on sale as we speak), Mcfarlane Batcave is £27.99, Batmobile £29.99, figures are £17.99(which is around what you paid) but you were ripped off massively on the Mezco set
Ironically the joke about disappointment was the highlight of this video for me! 😁 Each one a gem M, and bravo for punching that lump on the nose! 💪 This video triggered a memory of a HUGE blue Batman & Robin motorcycle and side-car I had as a kid. I remember being depressed as my dad said it was too big to pack in my case when we flew to Majorca on Laker Airlines. But, it was on that same holiday (my first) whilst the flight was delayed that my dad bought me a copy of Omni magazine (because it had a robot on the cover). Flicking through this magazine, bored and tired I turned a page and discovered production stills for Alien... I became a man right then! 🤣🤖 🇬🇧👽 Best wishes mate. 🌞

I do agree that we should've gotten a better Batcave/Wayne Manor for the price point though. I also love the Funko and Figures Toys Company '66 Batman toys. Stay healthy and take care of yourself. I honestly dont get the complaints about price though. The Mezco set comes with SEVEN figures and a vehicle. I'm looking around at ALL the toy companies and there is no company that would ever offer 7 figures at a price point below $100... then to add in a vehicle and some paper craft? Ok. Its NOT cheap or a bargain, but its not 'too expensive' either. Super7 sells a pack of 6 Cobra figures with an MSRP of $125... no vehicles or playsets or anything. Hasbro 1/18 scale things lately are around $15 - $25 a figure, depending on the accessories. McFarlane Toys Page Punchers, which is about the lamest, crappiest 3 inch figures I've seen in a long time, are $12 a pop... so 7 of those alone is $84.

The Mc Farlane one wins for me because they are the same scale as the Marvel Legends figures and it's cool a.f. to have a crossover in my display
