The work that went into the gunnels is pretty impressive. At 7:16 you can clearly see the challenges of this work as the weld pulls the clamp along the rounded edge. This movement/shrinkage changing of position that happens under heat is one of the real hurdles of welding in general. Often there is some bumping and realignment that happens along the way. I am pointing out not to be critical, but to show audiences how involved this work is so they can appreciate it. Real nice work.
Glad to see you and Anthony are helping each other out. Y'all are both good dudes and have a lot in common when it comes to building boats. Helping each other out is how you get sh*t done. Keep up the EXCELLENT work.
Ant is cool. I have a lot of respect for him. He's really good at putting videos together. One of these days Im going to convince him to buy a damn tig welder lol.
It’s so cool to see how far you’ve taking the 1652. It’s great to see you getting support with LEDs, turf, and accessories. I hope to be there for the first launch !
Matt, Happy New Year to you and your family! This has turned into a mind-blowing build! The crème de la crème of Tricked Tins! Simply AWESOME! I can't wait to see the finished product! Take care and be safe!
Great video(s)! You’ve got MAD skills! I agree that your work is art - and craftsmanship. I’ve got an idea for the side panels where the deck meets the hull: you mentioned that the gaps can be caulked, but why not weld the entire length? This will avoid the mess and (probable) failure of the caulk, and add strength to the build overall. Wouldn’t those welds also be waterproof? Keep up your excellent work, and I’ll look forward to following the progress…
I appreciate it. Unfortunately that much welding will cause a lot of warping. Plus I have to get all of those hatches powder coated. It would be impossible to weld through the powder coating

Love the details and new features you are building in!

Bro, your builds are over the top man, I live in Ontario Canada and there's nobody anywhere near here doing that
I bet brotha... there's only a couple people in the US on my level. My King Neptune build is coming to Ontario next month!
Mad props on that sick build man.
Thanks brotha. Its almost done now. New video drop this week 👀

Thank you! I definitely appreciate you watching and the feedback! Happy new year!
Fantastic looking boat so far. Love the top rail. I hate the round rail on my john boat.
Thanks Bob!

That big rail is sick, would be dope to have some sort of versa track attached to the inside to attach whatever you want
For now, I'm just improvising. Eventually I will get an extrusion made when I start building my own boats.
Beautiful work of art !
Thanks brotha
Amazing work. I'd like to ad lockers to my 2024 Grizzly Tracker 2072 at the rear where the seat post brackets are.
I didnt think they were making 2072 anymore
Yes sir they do. I'm a Tracker pro staffer for Bass Pro Shops
2072 gettin closer to coming back to you
Sounds good!
This boat is awesome!! What scanner do you use to make the floor patterns
Thanks its prodim.
Excellent ! Where did you get your welding experience ?
It runs in my blood. My Pops has been a welder for 50 years. He started our company in 1987. Professionalweldinginc.com
Love the videos bro, what saw blades do you like to use for the aluminum? How many teeth?
Honestly i use a grinder for most everything. I do have a chop saw set up with an aluminum blade by Diablo.
How thick are your lids? Building a 1848 tracker grizzly and looking for a good drop in lid thickness.
.125"
Let me know if you want some custom hatches I'll hook you up
I'll do it. Thanks
Great build! I need two hatchs how do I order?
Thanks. Email me professionalwelding@gmail.com
Email sent. Thank you
