This History is My History

The events of September 11, 2001 left an indelible impression on all who experienced them - people of all backgrounds, faiths, and ages. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum's mission is rooted in educating future generations about the lessons of 9/11, including the diversity of voices that speak its narrative. This 12-minute film explores the stories of Black victims, first responders, survivors, and others impacted by the attacks, underscoring how what happened that day touched and shaped all of us.
