I LOVE THE TAILPIPE ALONG WITH THE WARM PUFFY SMOKE LOOKS SO WARM AND COZY
Nice to see all the upgrades, but as you say "all new" it isn't, but still a great choice. To get all that towing and people capacity in an nice driving truck is a great option. The all new cost isn't so great however.

If Ford added a factory installed On*Star system I'd buy one.
The Expedition EL Platinum is my favorite. I get so freakin ticked off to see people like some of the ones below. People that dis SUVs get on my nerves. You can't expect a vehicle of this size to get a car's MPG. They get the same mileage as most minivans. I won't ever get a minivan because it is only enough when kids are babies to the point of young teens around 13 years old. There is a lot of families with more than 1-2 kids. 3-4 kids would require an SUV to allow everybody to be happy and comfortable. I know many families with 4+ kids. I will never own a minivan.
If ford is going to shove this unreliable ecoboost crap down our throats, then it should get 20/25, not 15/21. They should have taken the route that GM took, modernizing their V8's to get the fuel econ it does. Look at the GMC yukon denali with a 6.2, it gets 15/22 which is extremely impressive considering my 04 yukon gets 12/17. And the ecoboost doesnt sound like the good ol v8's thay ford has. There is a reason why these dont sell as good as the yukon/tahoes, its because theyre outdated and they put in an engine that not many full size suv buyers want.
Fordisbetter2 only thing I actually wish the Expedition still had was a solid rear axle independent suspension requires more bushings and components not as Heavy Duty as a solid rear axle we have an 01 Expedition we have towed 10k Pounds just fine

Any idea if the dashboard above the glove compartment in 2015 Ford Expedition needs to be removed to access the cabin filter. If so, would that harm the air bags.

Steve -- is the length of the Expedition that you've tested the same length/wheelbase as the Tahoe? (Because I think the Expedition more compares with the Chevy Suburban more than the Tahoe. However, Ford will more than likely say that the Expedition EL would compare to the Suburban).
Billy, the Expedition EL is the Suburban competitor.

I know that it is going to be fixed after an all new model comes, but i'm not really a fan of LED fog lights without at least bi-xenons. The fog lights look out of place here on this vehicle, I do like this old Expedition better than the new overpriced Tahoe though
That's a BIG pet peeve of mine, too. Usually though, it's the other way around, with halogen fogs and xenon headlights. The mismatch look bugs me.
Can you review the 2015 lincoln navigator.
My 3 next Fords are Mustang, F-150 and MKC. Probably no Navigator until summer. Sorry.

i thought the MPG will be around 25 MPG i get so disappointed when i heard 17 MPG combined .. despite the fact of it size as a large SUV they still need to work on attractive MPG .. this is the usual America business .. short vision fast profit .. without the thought of any future thinking marketing plans !!!
17 is city 20 highway though one tester said with a heavy foot he got 15.5 mpg so it has a lot to do with driving style.
still they can improve the gas mileage on it ... look at today's cars how improved !! all it takes .. just a Japanese competition and high gas price .. and it will happen to be improved ... they just need to move their ass .. and not to wait for others to do it so they jump like an idiot and produce something that fast .. cheap and ridiculously unreliable that is the American way of production .. i'm sorry but it reality !! i hope it will be fixed one day !!

Exterior looks like it's 2004 again. Personally, I think that its time has passed. I know, that's the heritage and all, but when you see a 2015 car that looks like a 2004 - you may think that ford designers are just too lazy to make something new.
