You have to let it go. I beleive that it is the only way to heal. I know it's not easy....I'm recovering too after a 10 year (seemingly good) marriage where she lied, cheated, gaslit, humiliated, and betrayed on the way out with 0 remorse for me or our child.
So I know the pain of getting blindsided and betrayed by someone you truly loved. It still hurts, but I'm thinking that we are charged with the task of forgiving.....NOT GOING BACK, but forgiving.
I believe that Forgiving is the the final blow of cutting that bond/attachment/soul tie that you have. Dunno how to do it other than ask the MOST HIGH for strength .....but we'll continue to suffer unless we do.
