I got hit hard with depression, my wife left me for another person, she took my kids and I got locked up, lost my 120k job lost my sporting career, became a drug addict and I nearly broke by trying to take my life 3 times! My scars now show when life tries to break me but life lost, I won, I win, I fight and fight and fight and will never ever break as I need to be here for my kids! I failed an interview today morning....it was for joining army. ..i have been preparing for it thr past 1.5 yrs and still i failed the first stage. This video really helped me. I’m depressed because of my grandmas death because of covid. I always had hope for her to survive but after 30 days she passes and it affected me a lot, I always know that she is up in heaven waiting and watching me and also protecting me. I’m also glad that my grandma doesn’t have to suffer from pain anymore and is going to have a good life in heaven or afterlife. I wished that I’ll be her grandson again. I cried day and night but after realizing that my grandma is watching me and doesn’t want me to be sad I tried not to cry about it as it hurts in my heart.

I got so setback when i wasnt able to finish by thesis due to covid - I had to go to work. Now I see my friends graduating and I'm still here. I hope I can fight back.
- dec 2018: Got fired after 9 years due to downsizing
- jan 2019: collapse with stress
- may 2019: get s shot at a top job
- nov 2019: finally start new top job after 4 interviews over almost 6 months. Battling to survive financially...
- Dec 2019: Break up with gf after 11 years (mother of my two kids), mutual decision, although I try to change it back but she doesnt want to.
- March 2020: Hello Corona and kids at home while working at home, still living with my ex while trying to find new place.
- May - july 2020: hello workstress... hanging in.
- July 2020: Took 6 months to find a new place to live as a part time dad... overpriced apartment.
- July 2020: pseudo summer vacation... too much stress, too much yelling... too much loneliness
- Aug 2020: Back to work... un-relaxed
- Sept. 2020: backstabbed by HR and fired from job...
Forecast:
- Will likely have to move out because I cant afford the rent after xmas
- No apartments available in the area for 2-3 years
- move to other city = only see my kids every other weekend
This after having fought for 6 months, where I drained all my savings, to land the job I had until recently..... I'm so broken and feel worthless.
And right now... im honestly thinking that my life insurrance will do my kids' mother and them more good than I ever will.......
