I might have missed it... but, no concern of ECM flagging a cooling system performance code with "non sleeve" water pump? ie. Engine will take longer to warm up? I suppose you would have already provided an update if that was the case. Will definitely suggest the "non sleeve" pump to my boss for future TB services.
I replaced a timing belt & WP on a similar TDI last month... the sleeve was stuck forward, but there was never any overheating complaint... or lack of heat inside the car (I suppose the electric pump supplied enough circulation for both cabin & engine?).

I think you’d need to be in fairly hot climate to notice an increase in heat with the stuck shroud (or working it hard). I can’t see it causing any issues/codes for extended warm up, I’ve got a feeling it’s to get it to operating temp as quick as possible for emissions purposes.

Quick one Josh.. I have a P13CE (cylinder 1 electrical malfunction) I swapped injector and glow plug from #1 with #4. This didn’t change the codes at all. Any thoughts?

I had seen some post recently about the glow plug electrical plug itself being faulty, although that was on a 09-14 if I remember correctly.

So this is nuts, I’ve had this code for a couple months. I swapped it a few days ago and like I said, didn’t see a change. That’s when I sent the message to you today. The light went off and everything seems to be fine... Go figure.
But thanks for the reply. Always remember to “like” every one of your videos, hope it helps the channel grow!
