Helicopter or not, this is how you do a car video. No stupid music, no shitty editing. Not too much talking. Just car, driving, noise.
draggonhedd yeah .. this is pure joy :D
btw sick skillz ..
+draggonhedd Happy to have read that comment before i watch :D thumbs up
And exceptional driving
respect
This dude is actually a stunt car driver, but yeah hew have skillz
So this is the guy who is always beating me on Dirt Rally. Nice driving btw
No shitty music 10/10. This man is a beast
Togue hoonage, drifting at The Ring and now flooring a +30 years old car, sideways in the snow, through a forest, no cage, no helmet. OG af.
An awesome looking car with a Supra engine in it, love the way the Cressida looks.
@@christofferrasmussen6533 its the non turbo version of the jz engine
Also no seat belts.
engine sound, no music..Epic video
An old Japanese car drifting away in the deep Norwegian forest with a beautiful co-driver. Hell yeah!
what type of car i that? looks sick
Cupar Scott Cressida
KANSEI DORIFUTO?
This was an absolute joy to watch!
And that Cressida 😂🤣 WTF? I will never look at one the same way again.
Takes me back to the days i used to drive with my dad on public dirt roads in a Vaz 2106. every corner full throttle and sideways. Now thinkin back to it, it was so dangerous and crazy but it's a good memory of my father. RIP
Awesome driving, great sound, sweet footage... That helicopter pilot was pulling some manoeuvres too!
The driving was fantastic but the chopper pilot was wild too!!!
How on earth can 5 people give this a thumbs down??? It is utterly brilliant.
Btw, great title, it definitely is a flickfest.
(PS: I love her "is my hair still okay?" moment at 3m30s)
Steven Dewulf Thanks, man. I'll take 0,5% haters any day :D
This dude has insane skills, like daaaaymn. This dude got nerves made from titanium, like a boss. His skills combined with awesome classic car is just pure awesomeness. Much love from Finland, i hope to see new videos from you in the future, keep it up o/
beautiful car + great driver + hot co-pilot = freakin great combo ^^
*freakin love how you maintain the old skool look of the car...great job
Awesome performance! Now I hardly find that car even here in Japan. You made my day!
You can find it in Small countries in Central America.
Like a group 4 late 70th ralley. Exceptional classic rwd rally driving. Really really good.
This, is by far the most amazing Video I've ever seen. To drive like this with an AWD car is fairly hard enough but this man killed it with a RWD Cressida.
Respect to you, the footage is amazing, the recording is awesome, just the incredible sound of the Cressida screaming, perfect!
Well I've already forgotten Fred and some ricer car, but Ms Eng is imprinted on my mind forever ...
really incredible, love the sounds in this video! no one has more style than fredrik and his mighty x3
I always come back to this video, and the amazement is still the same each time. Even though I'm a fwd driver at heart and it is the polar opposite of my nature, I see this and get goosebumps.
every video you're in fredrik gets so much better. the guys you work with on the production side are amazing. your car and driving is hands down my favourite. seeing your car made me have my heart set on one for a daily driver. awesome videos, please keep them coming. you are one of the best drivers around today but no one knows yet.
I am not going to watch fast and furious 8 if these two ain't in it .
I like this girl very much. She is beautiful and I like her voice.
Just awesome! The car, the driver, the co-driver, the heli, THE LOCATION...! All of it!
This is an example of a perfect car video. Great action, the helicopter shots and backgrounds were breathtaking, and driver and co driver superb. Loved it!
Fred, you are hands down my favourite driver. All formula d stuff included, you are an excellent driver. Love the Cressy too
Amazing driving and car! Wow, it makes a tremendous sound.
Mr. Sørlie! Incredible driving, incredible skills. Greets from Russia!
Awesome driving and production! :)
***** Thanks, Kenneth. Very happy with the result. Great job by Daniel and Lars as usual!
Fredrik Sørlie Hey I liked the driving and the production and i have nothing bad to say about it. However theres one thing I did not like - the fact that you had racing seats with 4point straps and NO rollcage. That combination is deadly, because when you should flip the car, the roof could ( probably will) crush you and you won't be able to move because you're strapped in ( as You could with a normal seatbelt ). This problem came to mind, because young car enthusiasts watch your video and get the urge to put 4point belts and racing seats in their cars without knowing the risks. All in all, it was a cool video.
Rauno Komp Thanks for the feedback, and please don't take my answer the wrong way. I've seen this discussion on the internet before and I totally disagree. As far as I know those claims are based on a few crash investigations that only look at the damage done and not at why the crash happened in the first place. We live in a society where people are more concerned with accident protection than accident prevention.
To me, safety is not about how much equipment you surround yourself with. It's about making sure you don't crash. It's about taking pride in your driving skills and never allowing yourself to make a mistake. Whenever I make a mistake I feel shitty inside and will punish myself mentally for days, even weeks.
I'm obviously not against using safety equipment, but personally, I want it to be my choice. I know from experience that once I put a cage in that car and a helmet on my head, I will push way harder, leaving a lot less safety margin. Sure a crash wouldn't hurt as much, but in a bizarre way, I want it to hurt. I want the option off having a crash to be off the table. After all, the only person who decides whether or not to have a crash is me.
So to address your comment, I'd rather be strapped in and in control than having to bounce around in a stock seat with a regular belt. I don't care if it's potenially more dangerous in the event of a crash when it reduces the chances of having a crash dramatically.
Haven't thought about it like that.. i like what You are about - pure driving experience. At the end of the day the video was mad awesome (subscribed :) )
Fredrik Sørlie thinking exactlly the same way. By the way, what a video... Amazing stuff.
High quality! I love that the car has its interior too and isn't stripped out.
Your check engine light is on
This never gets old. Such a great video.
So sick Fredrik! I love watching you slide
THIS.IS.AWESOME.
Respekt Fredrik !!! Crazy car, crazy landscape and a amazing Story !!!
Nice driving. The girl's smile at the end turned winter into spring :)
You DRIFT on ice better than I DRIVE on pavement. Nice video man. Super sick
Snow**
What an amazing driver. Hats off to you.
On a side note: The woman riding shotgun is a beauty.
Dennis On top of being a damn good co driver, she's gorgeous. The fact that no one is noticing is actually kind of crazy as to what's going on here.
I must admit, I looked at the woman, like maybe even twice...
thats it lol
I was looking at the wheels more than the woman
Yumi, Its the Millennium, it's ok to be Gay, ut Ms Eng is what I was looking at
simply awesome skills
my favourite part is all of it.
I don't know which is more stunning - the driving, the camera-work or the co driver...
Just wanted to say fredrik you are kinda my hero and the biggest reason I bought my mx73 cressida.
Thanks man. Means a lot! Have fun with you awesome ride. Done anything to it?
You're nuts. Just nuts. Peanuts, macadamia nuts, coconuts - YOU'RE JUST NUTS.
Not walnuts? You nutist pig.
***** Whoops
How dare you forgot hazelnuts :0
sjukt fett laget - for en digg produksjon - TAKK
That is how you do a drifting video!!! Great skills on everybody's part! Love how you're in the new NFS.
This is awesome! Wish I could drive like that.
This is quite possibly the best video I've ever seen on UA-cam to date; no joke. I love the production value, the skill, the setting, the car, the cinematography and the absolute trust that woman has in your driving as she calmly reads to you, haha. I love that there was only music at the intro and and at the end and zero during the driving. Very moving! Bravo and well done, mate!
I loved your video, "Bring Back the Touge" and watched it over and over again. Thanks for upping the bar and bringing me something else to watch over and over again and share with my friends, haha. I dream of driving as you do.
And mad props to Lars Dahl for the music. I still listen to Bring Back the Touge on repeat (listening to it now actually, haha). Loving the new track to this as well.
You are definitely on my list of people I want to meet before I die! If you're ever in the states with your car, I'd love to get some still shots of it with my camera rig! (I should probably just make plans to visit Europe instead, lol, cameras are easier to ship than cars) xD (I just found your Instagram page, I'll be following you shortly! [i'm 5k3n and jsinger.photo])
Thanks for sharing what you do and being passionate about it. We have very similar passions. I plan on donating to your GoFundMe page when I can fit it into my budget. I completely understand the struggle. Cheers, dude!
5k3n Thank you so much for your kind words. It's feedback like this that makes it worthwhile. I love to share my passion with like minded people. Who knows, maybe I'll see you around some time :)
I can only hope that comes true someday! :)
Stefano led me here. Awesome stuff!
