    What I love about the Japanese car culture is that they don't take it too seriously, they just do what ever they like and enjoy their ride.
    And at the end of the day if you can get in your car (what ever it is) and really enjoy it that's all that should matter.

    • @lachlanbray1309
      @lachlanbray1309 9 років тому +127

      I think its not so much that they don't take it seriously but more so the fact that they take their passions very seriously and don't allow their passions to become misconstrued by another persons opinion. (this is just what i think, not a fact)

      TarisRedwing Yeah I have modded my car somehow how it is legal here and I'm able due my young age - (financial issues..) but there would be so much more to do with easy lil things that are illegal here and that is annoying :/ For example in here: no reflective tapes, no leds, no even different color light bulbs except white/xenon "blue".. and the list goes on.

    Just want to say, this is probably my favorite video on youtube. I was 13 when I first saw this (20 now) and this video made me fall in love with Japan and Japanese culture all in a single moment. Those 9 minutes and 42 seconds felt like hours, and as a 13 year old kid this place looked like exactly where I wanted to be. Obviously I'm a lot older now and know that Japan isn't just Tokyo Drift and Anime, but I'll always love this video for being what gave me the Japan bug all those years ago. Thanks, guys :>

      Yup. I know this because a friend of mine from Saitama came to pick me up in his car and we went to Odaiba and Shinjuku (to Tokyo Tower). To get on the "interstate" I guess we could call it, he had this automated sensor machine in his car that would charge him for how long he was on it and he put his card into it.

      ***** yep.... you are butthurt... allow me to explain to you a few things.
      1). I have EVERY right to call him ANYTHNIG I want, and just because you are offended by it, DOESN'T mean that I HAVE to care. It is MY obligation to choose, whether or not, and you vice versa
      2). You are really only showing me that you are truly uneasy with anybody making fun of the this guy because you are one too. It's obvious; you bring up an illogical standing that you tried to justify by arbitral contradictory. Like I said, if this was ANYTHING else I reckon NEITHER of you would comment ANYTHING similar.
      3. You can't "prove" anything, that is merely a arbitral notion used to feed gullible fucks into believing EVERYTHING on entity of perceived "knowledge" says. You simply look like a fool doing it, and projecting that notion on my OPINION. Double negative my friend.
      Face it weebaoo, you can't admit how cancerous your kind is. You people are equally challenged and prejudice to other peoples customs, there for I can use THAT to justify MY answer for the good people.
      Now enough replying to me, and go back to the ditch from where you belong!

    • @ychic7015
      @ychic7015 9 років тому

      *****:) Well mate, that makes both of us. You take your time to respond, just like I do. I am not loosing anything, so are you. This is merely a "debate", and don't we both have every right to do so?
      I am just pointing out the illogicalness of your response to me for having an opinion against them. May this guy not have been a weeaboo? May I just be going with "popular" opinion, and may I just be contradicting my own self.
      !. yes
      2.no
      3. maybe (though it's hard to run away from)
      To be honest, I see no other real reason for this. If we both don't like weeaboos, lets just keep it like that. Both of our points where made clear... so... I will take my rest....

    I've never liked pimped supercars, kind of blasphemy to me. However I don't know if it's due to the japanese nights' atmosphere but in these streets it seems to me it's natural to see a lambo full of LED strips, I mean I've would have been shocked everywhere else in the world to see something like that but in Japan it's like it's in his own elements, it's hard to explain, it's a cultural matter I think, may be it's like mirroring the flashy colored neons of tokyo at night when the city reveals her makeup face.
    The image is great, the people we see seems to live fully their passion to motorsports. The music match up so well.
    AWESOME video! Thanks guys! Greetings from France.

      Bosozuku (spelled wrong) is cultural, the massive exhaust and ugly ass body kits. I'm not a fan, but I do not hate it just because that's just how Japan is, you'll see the stanced cars like it's a trend now, also in Japan. They have the fancy drift cars and the beat up missile cars. Super cars, basically everything we have. Our culture in America is basically muscle cars, theirs = bosozuku.

    For all those people saying that they ruined their cars with the whole flashing, colourful neon lights... of course this won't make sense to people outside Japan, because to be honest the whole neon car scene is exclusively a "Japanese Thing".
    In a country where the majority of their city has bright, colourful neon lights and signs everywhere, the colourful bright aura these cars emit actually makes them blend in with their balanced surroundings perfectly well.
    Look up images of "Neo Tokyo" and you'll understand a little better.

Even when watching it in 4K. You can look at the latest video on my channel. That is the one I uploaded in 4K. Compare it to this, mine looks like crap. This was fantastic! I love the narration over the remarkable and wonderfully edited footage. I also love how you did your subtitles. Great job!

    First I watched this video 6 years ago and still getting that Japanese atmosphere of street racing with neons everywhere. It's also reminds me Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift. I just watched it again and commenting this...soundtracks suits perfectly!
