So on tarmac, assuming you have a light car FWD 160+ HP if you heel toe down shift right at the point you are turning back into the flick, then just brake and throttle tap coming out(for control) you will be at higher RPM in a lower gear ready to rip out of the turn. This definitely depends on weight balance, and tires when it comes to tarmac tho. When doing it just right you can J turn the car even on the street w/o a handbrake.
I know for a fact he does left foot break, clutch kicking would be to initiate a drift and get the wheels spinning. Scandi flick is moreso shifting weight to get around a corner, so at most you'd let off the gas depending on the corner and then back on it when you start to slide.
people never get it^^ it wont get you around any turn faster than driving straight line - its a safety driving tech which is used to make sure the car wont understeer. just like any other drift tech. btw i dont think you know how to actually scandy flick - you just explained weight transfer as a way to start a slide, not scandy flicking. scandy flicking is done by first turning away from the corner and loading the suspension by breaking - then you release the break at the right time while opening the steering and turning into the corner. it feels like a slingshot and needs a lot of speed - doesnt work at all driving slowly like in the video. it wont really work with any sort of stability control either and abs might prevent it too - so practice in a sim is recommended otherwise high chance ull break cars just trying to learn it.
Great video! Going to do this on the motorway, wish me luck🙏
watch Arab videos they've been doing that with family cars and trucks for years😂

What about the footwork, you didn't mention if you clutch kick/left foot brake?

U wouldn't do a clutch kick in fwd . Wouldn't kick the rear end out like rwd
so this does not only work for fwd also rwd cars?
It was invented on RWD cars. It works better on them.
