xxnike629xx I'm surprised your not preaching to everyone that Capcom didn't include: Alpha 2 Gold Alpha 3 Upper Alpha 3 Max In the Street Fighter 30th collection. Good for you man.
I have a friend like you, complains about how products are cheaply made but then you watch him with anything and realize he actually is just wildly reckless and violent with everything he owns....
Well, and this may or may not be the case here, but if a product only breaks with reckless, clumsy consumers, it's not a product flaw at all. You can break anything if you're hard headed enough, that doesn't mean it's a design flaw.
yeah the way he was handling that "2000-3000 dollar computer" was making me cringe, complaining about the stand breaking and then dangling the whole thing by a bit of duct tape...
It`s an arcade stick! Have you not played or watched someone play a fighting game with an arcade stick before? You cant be soft with them. That is why quality ones are built extremely durably - to deal with the abuse.
I actually like it louder. That's how I learned how to combo in FGs and play comfortably on an arcade stick. IDK man, the clicky sound feels like a metronome to me. It's especially helpful when I'm trying to learn a combo string.
I won't lie, I have learned the timing of some combos by listening to the rhythm of another person doing the combo. I can understand wanting to kill the sound tho, especially when you compete a lot
Wow, they take so long to design that stand, and it still has the same problems as the Cintiq 13HD stand... and now it doesnt even come included and is extremely expensive... Love Wacom, but this is ludicruous...
Bought this stick as my first arcade stick about 5 months ago, and i've been blown away by how much it changes the experience of playing fighting + arcade games. Plus, since i have never played on Sanwa parts, i don't feel like i'm missing out by getting this stick instead of a Sanwa one (or modding it). The funny thing is that lately i use it more for PC than for the Switch (got SFV through Humble Bundle about a month ago)
It's so true. Once you get accustom to a stick, you never want to go back to anything else because it makes everything so much more fun! I've currently got a Hori rap4 (Hayabusa parts) and a Qanba Dragon (Sanwa parts). Both fantastic in their own way. I love the smooth quick action on the Hayabusa lever. But prefer Sanwa buttons because I love the mechanical keyboard style feedback it gives. I think that feedback helps me build muscle memory faster, and in turn helps me pick up combos quicker than I would on the Hayabusa buttons. I still want a third stick though. I want one that you can easily swap art work on!
I currently favour the Qanba Dragon Arcade Stick outside of my JAMMA cabs, all Sega Naomi type. I like a short stem and little to no play when centred and tight springback. Light touch buttons are good but I like a firm click, even if it means a slightly longer travel time and I regularly change buttons out if they feel "tired" though it's more likely I'm just playing crap and want a change.
" And now I just need to hook-up this cable, which is going to go down here on the Switch, so let's just do that.. ". Why am I still waiting for, " but first, coffee ! " 😮😐😑😶😥.
I have a DIY arcade stick with Brooks PCB. It's a very fun experience on its own but occasionally I ran into problem like shorted wire. Have been thinking to get a Hori Fighting Edge Kai, but shipping cost is quiet pricy. I think having multiple arcade stick means you can lend it to someone else to try the experience, also not giving them option not to play because they don't bring their stick.
Great video as always! Interesting to see that you prefer the Hayabusa stick and buttons compared to Sanwa, but hey they’re great! Maybe you should consider looking into silenced buttons if you stick!
The obsession with arcade parts is in my opinion exaggerated. I think for 90% of the players this stick is absolutely sufficient. I still love my old LS32.
I'm mad jelly! I recently discovered the hard way that you need a mains powered switch to power a brooks converter, so I'm having to wait until that Hori hubstand comes out to be able to live the dream myself. I'm the meantime, been learning to cope with the joycon analogue. The pain is real.
Since you showed us the size of your house, i wonder if all your furniture is made out of fightsticks piled up. Do you have a storage unit to keep all these sticks? I have problems finding places for my pads, sticks would be a nightmare. --'
NihongoGamer you've become a 100% Japanese by now haven't you? What a dirty hentai mind, put two sticks on their side to serve as legs, one above them, with buttons and stick down (for a less deflowering effect) and maybe one more on the back for support, also with the stick back to your back. And there you go, the non deflowering, non butt hurting arcade stick chair, available on Evo 2019. (Now i really wish i knew how to draw, justo to bring this abomination to life)
I actually found a broken Amazon JP exclusive Hori fightstick from a local goodwill and replaced all its parts (except the joystick), rewired to a brook pcb, and repainted it teal.
I just discovered your channel !! Your video are funny and entertaining !!! And you are so fluent speaking english !!! I live in japan and most of my teacher cant even speak english !!! You are amazing !!
Strange for something that is labelled for Nintendo Switch does not come with the USB C male to USB female adaptor? So when I mine arrives I now realize I cant use it right away.
Great joystick, just bought one for my Neo Geo collection on switch. What made it worth the money was the PC compatability for my Mame arcade games. Flip a switch on the side and voila, instant PC fight stick.
4:36 i use a bit the fingerprint side of my fingertips when i press down on buttons and not the headside, but then again i do alternate by the tipside and the fingerprint side, it just helps and doesnt hurt much
I bought the RAP V stick a little while after seeing one of your videos; it's my first stick, but I like it a lot. I've been using it for Tekken 7 and UNIEL on PC as well as BBTAG on Switch. The buttons definitely have a very short actuation point like you said, but I actually kind of prefer it to be that way.
My black cover came off too when I unboxed my hori hrap for my ps4! I panicked, not going to lie there. There are few things scarier than breaking something you just paid over 200 bucks for.
I use a arcade stick I made myself. I got a diy arcade stick package from ebay containing sanwa buttons, a sanwa jlf joystick, cheap chinese pcb and all wires for connecting everything. I then built the actual box out of some leftover pieces of wood from another project and I simply painted it white. Considering I didn't have to buy the wood the whole stick cost me about 60 bucks with the pcb being the part that I skimped on. The pcb is also only compatible with windows and ps3 but I'm exclusively a pc player and I don't travel to tournaments so it works out.
I particularly enjoyed the sneaky lil no salt face lol Ive noticed people get annoyed with u but I've watched heaps of vids and I reckon your a genius just quietly, anyway nice vid, PEACE
To answer your question: Japanese Exarstick for the wii, with a GC controller pcb modded in so I can play on the switch (with any GC adapter). Yeah, I can't afford anything else unless I put it together myself
I bought the RAP4 KAI in America, I used to think V=5, my 4 was less advanced, recently I realized that V is not a number. So they're probably the same thing.
Wow. I can't believe the stick still goes for 250. I wanted one, but for now I'm glad they added a patch for my Mayflash, which I use for both my Switch and PS4.
Started with arcade stick and was just curious about using something different. So I converted my TE2(White/Orange color) into a Hitbox. I literally have to relearn everything. I liked it so much though I ended up getting another one from Jasen's Customs. I do want to say this though, the hitbox sucks for certain fighting games because you need to make sure you hit the diagonal inputs. Example: I was playing 3rd strike Makoto and I couldn't do her kara command grab. Also 360s are a nightmare. Overall its just a different experience.
It just goes to show you that the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con's and pro controller's buttons and joysticks really suck for fighting games because they cause missed inputs when playing arcade-style fighting games such as Street Fighter or any other arcade-style fighting game on the Nintendo Switch.
I never thought an arcade stick addiction is a real thing... I don't even have one and I'm still playing fighting games with my controller and keyboard :(
I don't even need a stick nor play this game, still enjoyed the video tho and know where to come if I ever feel like dishing out my savings for a gaming stick
I just got the Qanba Drone for Tekken 7 yesterday and been using it for several hours already and I really like it so far,it was only $60. I'm thinking of modding it with LED buttons for late night gaming,it says its for PS3 and PS4 but it also works for PC which is what I use and this is my first arcade stick. I picked it over the Mayflash F300 because the Drone has more arm room.
Watched this back when you released it and it convinced me to buy a switch stand to do just that. However, then I went and bought a better laptop and it's just way better.
@@rockhyde7775 year late, but! I own sticks from all of them. The one I use most lately is Victrix for 2D or my Omni for Tekken, but if you're looking at another stick I'd recommend Qanba over Razer. I am, used to have my tankstick hooked up to my MacBook pro in college.
This is like a fightstick version of a mechanical keyboard
*slap some cash for buttons that compatible with cherry mx switches*
LMFAO
