Hehe, eventhough I was tired and groggy I did remember it😅 But yes, if that was the case I would probably have hot wired it or something.😆 The distance rowed was 1,6km (1mile)💪
Alex's words of wisdom; when in nature, don't die. Bet your arms were aching after that row! You're girlfriend is lovely, you make a great couple. We like to go mussel hunting when we rent a cabin in Scotland on one of the Lachs, it's nice to forage your own food.
It was a pretty challenging morning, but you gotta do what you gotta do😊 It is indeed awesome to catch your own food, we really enjoyed the mussels with pasta and tomato sauce...😁
Awesome drone work added to drama in Greenland at Ooquutt of the disappearing speedboat (I would have died on the spot!)..keep up your adventures Alex & Julianna👏👏👏👏..& Greenland Trees (unique conifers I'm sure so close to Artic Circle)
Not being able to see the boat the next morning was very scary.. having spend so much money on a thing and the first camping trip and its gone, was kinda tragi-comedic...
I wonder. How's the cellphone reception there in Greenland? Where you camped out if you would of been in trouble and had your phones with you, is there cellphone transmission there?
Cell phone reception is mostly centered in the towns and settlements and I believe 90% or more people in Greenland has access to the internet. But when you get out in the nature, cell reception dies and you need a satellite phone or satellite caller
Hi , I am from Pune India , I have always dreamt travelling to greenland since my childhood but i cannot due to my financial situation , but thanks to you that I can atleast travel virtually in Greenland. One suggestion : Can you please visit Christ the king the only catholic church in nuuk and make a vlog?? I want to see that church badly
I thought Nuuk must be so cold. It’s in Greenland. Then I googled and realized where I live is way colder than Nuuk. The coldest temp in Nuuk ever recorded is -28.7 C where as in my city that’s a warm winter because we get lower than -40C or even -50C. 😂. So now I am envious of Greenlandic weather... never thought I would say that. 🤣🤦🏻♂️. Amazing videos. Greetings from your neighbour 🇨🇦.
Hehe, this winter I dont remember us having colder temps than -20 C...😅 Damn!! -40 C thats cold! The coldest I have tried near Sisimiut was about -40 with a lot of wind... Stay safe neighbour!
That's quite surprising! Not that parts of Canada is colder than Nuuk, but that it's coldest temperature recorded is -28.7c. Even in my country, Scotland, the coldest temperature recorded is -27.2c, but we are very much a wet temperate maritime zone and don't have a huge ice sheet near us to push temperatures further down.
Been wanting to ask this since I found you channel, kept forgetting. Are rappers still the shit up there? You know, Don Maliko, FEAT, Prussic... Because I remember everyone used to listen to them.
Imagine rowing all the way out to the boat and then realizing you forgot the key 🤦♂️

What months are the most likely to see the northern lights?
Mostly during winter, when it gets dark and cold. So from november to april
How cold is it on the water? Do u see whales?
The water is roughly 5-8 degrees celcius
