Good video. When I was in Nuuk in Summer I tried to find some winter boots. I found some at the market across from the hotel Egade. Second level of the Supermarket. I did find a Winter coat. Like you I like the watches. Nuuk is an enchanting place. The only way to describe Greenland to to see it for one's self. Impossible to tell in words!
I think that everything you showed in this video was really important for your stay in Greenland. Anyway I loved your watches very much but also the snowshoes with the hiking sticks, very useful. There the lack of light is a real problem so the solar lamp maybe a solution. What about vitamin d? It is important, too. Isn't it? Thank you very much for sharing this awesome video.
Thanks!😊 Yes, the light lamp is really crucial during winter darkness, but it doesnt emit UV rays, so on top of that a Vitamin d supplement is necessary😊 Merry christmas soon😁
Hey Alex, very nice little numbers you’re doing on Greenland. Your and a number of other videos I’ve been watching on Greenland make my feet itch to move there even. But I have a very important question, please. You mention in a few episodes that in Greenland one doesn’t pay any capital gains taxes. Sounds really good, though I’m not invested in the stock market at all. But I see from other sources that income tax is in fact very high in Greenland, something like 44%. Now, I’m busy undergoing a professional conversion, moving from freelance translating to becoming an author, writer of books. I’d like to know, if I decide to move to Greenland, find myself a nice place in a small town, in nature, and just write, and write and write, using those long dark winter days to produce books, and I earn a good income from that, will Greenland take 44% of my income !!! 😳😳😳 Or are there some tax breaks for writers or artists? Are writers considered as artists there? Or are there any other tax advantages offered that can help me avoid paying such a high income tax rate in Greenland?
Hi Alex, hope you good. I’m Nana from Ghana. I’m a great fan of you that has been watching your contents on UA-cam. I’m a designer and I would like to come to the Greenland for a visit with my staff but unfortunately, we can’t get visa from our home country. What do we do now?

Hi very random question and maybe a bit weird lol but just wondering does your dog's name mean "expensive"? I came across the word translation and if I remember correctly one of your dogs you said was called Akisooq in another video?
@@RK-is1xp Sleddogs are not allowed south of the Arctic Circle, so the dog race keeps clean, as Nuuk and other towns south, have many different breeds.

Is living to Greenland more similar to living in Svalbard or is it more similar to Iceland? I like the idea of living in Svalbard but hate that they have banned cats. I'm wondering if Greenland is an alternative.
As I have not been either place i dont know.. But im assuming it is a little mix, as Reykjavik is located on the same lattitude as Nuuk, yet Svalbard is more similar in regards to smaller Greenlandic towns. You can have cats in Nuuk, as long as your housing association allows

Sounds like you wnet to Brugseni (supermarket chain in Greenland) and yes, Greenland is a place to be seen for yourself!

Yes, but its also a name:-) Its my family´s dog, as I live in Nuuk, where you are not allowed to have Greenlandic Sleddogs (its a special breed)

Greenland have better infrastructure but it’s technically part of Denmark so it’s harder to move there if you aren’t a nordic citizen
