So many special memories watching this. We stayed in the Lerkhytta 14.5 years ago. And I was asked to marry my husband there. Nothing can compare to staying there. For us it was in September, and yes, feeding the sunflower seeds is so much fun.

Yeah - the squirrels in Michigan definitely don't have those big furry ears. Maybe an adaptation to the cold? Whatever it is - so cute!

Eurasian Red Squirrels have the hair tuft at the tip of their ears, while American Red Squirrels have a slightly bushier tail.

I used to draw a looot when I was younger but then just kind of stopped. Might have to pick it up again, it's fun! My mom is incredible at drawing!

I live in Southern California, so needless to say, I love the sound of the crunchy snow and the big, bright stars in the sky! The birds and squirrels! At 66 years old I never traveled far from home so I love watching you and others who, maybe learned at a young age that we should see the as much as we can and enjoy life to the fullest ❤️

I want to go to Norway so badly. I’m 3/4 Norwegian. I was born in the US in the state of Minnesota that was settled by Norwegians and Swedes long ago and the bloodlines still run strong.

How incredibly beautiful!!!! I also long for the slow life. I wanted to curl up with a book in that nook until I saw the loft, then I knew where I would be curling up with a book! I couldn't believe how high the tree house until we saw it from the ground.
That was a balm for the soul. The views were insanely beautiful. Coziness factor 100 for sure. I’m so happy you got to have this experience and share it with all of us. Problem is, you’re making my bucket list longer and longer 😊 can’t wait to see what’s next. Love you bye!

The cabin - wow - what a sweet and special place. European squirrels are so cute with their tufted ears. I also enjoyed seeing the European birds. You are a great artist! Someone will really enjoy coming across that drawing in your journal.
I didn't know Norway had so few wolves - Sweden not so many, either. I remember Jonna Jinton showing wolves, or their tracks, where she lives. I don't imagine wolves would bother you being around, anyhow. Moose, though...!

Cecilia, This spoke to my soul at the perfect time. I have just discovered your channel and I am so pleased that I did. In my 20's I spent 4 years in Lake Tahoe on the California/Nevada border (USA). I had skied there for years, but it was the extended stay that allowed me to fully understand and appreciate the happiness and contentment that the remote alpine surroundings gave me. Still today, in my 60's, time in that environment is so gratifying and fulfilling. You took me back and I am grateful. Thank you!
