- The year 2020 created history for a lot of us. Including Jehovah’s Witnesses. Many have received a knock on their door at some point in life, however, in 2020, all door-to-door activity stopped. This was the first time in the history of Jehovah’s witnesses that this has happened. TotallyRandie sits down during the first anniversary to discuss how this has affected the organization and ones who want to hear their message. Tune in.
I was so sceptical and opposed to Jehovah’s witnesses for years. When I finally listened, I was intrigued at the information in the Bible and I started studying. I studied 15 years! Most people embrace these truths within a year. I finally got baptized and never looked back. That was 20 years ago. Praise Jehovah.
@DONNA O I would suggest that you studied Watchtower material, not the Bible. Watchtower uses their material to conduct “Bible studies” instead of going directly to the Bible. They pick out certain parts of their Bible (the New World Translation) to support their teachings. Might I suggest that you do some research on the NWT and uncover what Greek scholars think about it. (Julius R. Mantey being one.).

I was too. It took me 3 years of study, prayer and thought. When I make a commitment, I'm all in for life. I had to make absolutely sure that this was the truth. Best life ever!!. Never regretted one day of it. Been baptized since Dec of 1996.

JWs have a very high rate of depression and mental issues. This comes from the control by guilt and fear. Then the doomsday message being played to them over and over.
The doomsday they have predicted many times with failure, even though the Bible warns to not predict a date.

The Jehovahs witnesses teach that Jesus Christ is not their mediator. Unless you are of the 144,000. The Jehovahs govern ing body has self appointed their selves as mediator. This is a current doctrine most Jehovahs don't know about... but I got it from the Jehovahs witnesses literature.

I am thankful to have researched what the "apostates" have lovingly put on the internet. I was being deceived by a false religion. Apostate sites are nothing to fear as the Jehovah's witnesses do. They have Jehovahs witnesses literature and exposed exactly what the watchtower leadership fears it's members will uncover. It's always changing "truths", secret societies connection, false prophecies, twisted and corrupted bible, ECT.

Because the governing body have no proof that they are God's mouth piece. That is why they excomunicate/disfellowship you if you question them. Jesus didn't mind being questioned he was humble and had nothing to hide.
I really enjoyed this uplifting and informative interview! I am a baptized witness who fell away from the truth and I have come back after 16 years! I pray he will put his attention on all the lawsuits involving JWs for not reporting child sexual abuse. Also they have lost a human rights case they appealed in Belgium. May He also assist the Australian government in removing the JWs charity status for their refusal to join the redress scheme, which is a provision for sexual abuse victims to receive compensation and an apology.

Hi Mike, witnesses told me that Adams sin brought into question a 'universal issue of sovereignty' and that Jesus faithfulness and those that pass the final test answer the issue. Satan sinned first and faithful angels answered the issue. So if the issue was universal, then it was answered before Adam sinned.
Also, if it was only an earthly issue, then why didn't God do the obvious thing of waiting a few generations before testing humans. Abel and others logically would have been faithful. So by God raising the test too early has caused 6000 years of human misery.

You obviously don't know the definition of a cult. The cognitive dissonance is real. When you live in a bubble or course anything outside of that bubble seems to you as an appearance of an attack or persecution because that's the only air you breathe. You are told any air on the outside of that bubble is toxic. That's not true at all. If everyone is breathing the same air eventually everything in the inside becomes toxic. Break out the bubble to truly be able to breathe FRESH air. Jesus will give you refreshment! Imperfect man cannot provide that. You are not truly free until you find and focus on him.
You should really study cults better, many are publicy known by name say Scientology for example. Cult members usually are indoctrinated to the point where they have no clue how cults function or how they control members.
Jehovah's Witnesses still isolate members from outside information with warnings (apostate lies as JWs call anything that exposes negative parts of their org) and control who members speak to so they can't learn things leaders don't want them to.
Could you list many practices cults are known for using or the control methods cults generally use? That'll show you how cults can twist your mind to be extremely confident about something without knowing much about it at all

God’s work? You mean feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty, visiting those in prison, clothing the poor, tending to the sick, and taking in strangers in need? Matthew 25: 34 - 40. Jesus ministered to the whole person, as did the early disciples, who met people’s physical as well as spiritual needs. James 2: 15 - 16 says “If a brother or sister is naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled; but you do not give them things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?”

You heard what was said in the interview , telephone calls, that means calling people as you would knocking doors , writing and sending letters to every person in every community . I write letters every single day to people that I have never met. Just like if I were knocking theirs doors. Those we write to have a forwarding address that they can respond to for more information . We won’t go door to door and put peoples lives at risk , that would be foolish and totally unchristian
Our meetings are virtual and people are invited to join us virtually , if not there is a telephone number they can call in to our meetings. As soon as it is safe we will be back out there, house to house , talking to people in the street . In the meantime we have found other ways to continue the work that Jesus authorised is to do as seen at Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28:18-20

I think this was a very well balanced interview.
Those negative and bitter comments should just stay away. Any who chose to leave the organisation is free to do so. I left l Catholicism, but I do not stand outside the church screaming malice and hatred at them, I simply resigned and did not look back. All ex JW’s if you left for whatever reason, go and be happy. No one is causing you any hurt, why do you have to spread malicious venom. Bitterness causes you more
harm than good. I am content and at peace, times are changing very quickly, we will all be accountable for our actions. If you want to return humble yourselves, if you don’t want to jog on.

Jehovah is continuing to refine me to do his will. Through his anointing, I am getting my mum and sister to learn about Jehovah and to become a witness. By his grace and mercy my Father and Brother will be touched by Jehovah to serve him. I have never had a satisfying teaching until I started learning about Jehovah with the Witnesses. By summer 2021 I hope to surrender and be Baptized.
You realize that the channels you have listed on your channel are not acceptable to JWs. Listening to Christian music not written by JWs is not ok.
You should study the complete history of JWs before you get baptized- They have predicted many dates for Armageddon and none of them ever came to be. Every few years they have to change their doctrines because current ones fail. God does not give false predictions to “His” people. The Watchtower is fighting human rights violations in many countries. Also they have many court cases they are dealing with in the case of not reporting child sexual abuse. Research the Australian Royal Commission Case #29, also their failure to join the redress scheme. Which means they will no longer be a charity in Australia. Although they aren’t really a charity, they offer no assistance to the poor or needy. They have no food banks, clothing provisions, disaster or rent assistance, their members have to turn to other churches for help when it comes to these things. There is a reason members have been leaving.

@@yah7130 - The children that endure sexual abuse aren’t so happy. JWs have a long history of not reporting the abuse to authorities. Millions of dollars are being paid in settlements and fines world wide. Recently a JW Elder in Arkansas was sentenced to life in prison for multiple accounts of CSA.
Personally I refuse to support any group that hides sexual abuse. JWs have plenty to say about the Catholic Church when it comes to this, but where are the news reports about their own religion? Instead they tickle your ears by avoiding the truth.

Yes they are so loving that they are ok with child love by pedophiles. Over 1000 cases were found in Australia not one reported. That is not the type of love I want in my life. @@josesalas9932 - I live in the Pacific NW of the US. There have been a number of lawsuits in the US regards non reporting of CSA. An elder in Arkansa recently received a sentence that means he will die in prison. The state of Illinois actually has charges against two elders who neglected the mandatory reporting. This meant the abuse continued for an additional 13 years. That perpetrator is now in prison with a 45 yr sentence. Their bench trial is coming up the end of July. One of them was even a school teacher at the time they became aware of the alleged abuse.

*Not one* of the JW predictions of the end have come true. 1878, 1881, 1914, 1918 and 1925. Then of course there was the pointing at 1975, which also resulted in nothing, except more JW’s leaving the organization. Much as we are seeing today, more and more JW’s are realizing the truth about the truth.
Yes, with over 7 Billion people in the world only a third are Christians. So not very good odds. But the longer Christians preach the more that will hear. Chances of JW’s reaching 7 Billion ears are minuscule. Especially since their numbers are lowering. Also if the organization lies like those testifying at the Australian Royal Commission inquiry there may not even be 8M JW’s. Since there is no real evidence of these numbers.
Your statement above actually says nothing definitive, simply a twisting of words. The cognitive dissonance is very real. There has been no evidence that any of the JW doctrines are true. This is why they have a history of changing them often. There is no evidence of them being Gods people, although they would like you to think so because they took his name. This is no way means they are chosen.
I made the choice to leave Jehovahs Witnesses because their beliefs began to unravel and upon doing my own research, plus through reading of scripture and prayer, was lead by God to become a born again Christian. It is clearly written in John 3:7

Unfortunately the JW organization doesn't work to remove child molesters from their organization, and rather works to keep their existence hidden, often refusing to work with police. The JW organization (Watch Tower) rules say that if there were not 2 witnesses (not including the victims) to the abuse, then it didn't happen!
The JWs are not the only ones that show true love for their fellow men. When you become an apostate and are shunned then you will see the truth about JWs destructive force not love.

They require two witnesses of a child molestation before the abuser is disciplined, many times the abuser isn’t disfellowshipped. Also the congregation is not warned about a predictor in their mist. Elders also are instructed to contact the branch and are then told how to proceed. They have a history of not reporting to authorities the accusation of abuse. There are many states and countries with mandatory reporting laws. Those who have been abused and their parents are often looking to the elders for advice, they are often told to not report to the police. Don’t bring reproach on the congregation. The first thing that should be done, is to call the police even if there are no witnesses to the abuse. Often the police who are trained to investigate discover other evidence that can then be considered a witness. DNA or other abuse victims, or video footage. Window washers and janitors are not qualified to investigate a crime. Child abuse is NOT just a sin it is a crime! If someone is disfellowshipped for child molestation, they are often reinstated. Then continue to have contact with children both in the congregation and in the public. Because it was never reported to authorities they are not registered as a sex offender and are not punished. The Kingdom Hall should post a warning on a bulletin board and announce from the platform when someone is found to be guilty of child sexual abuse. It is NOT a private matter, when children are involved it becomes a concern for everyone. Child abuse has a very high rate of reoffense, very rarely do abusers stop their abuse. Because of their failure to report, many victims have continued to be abused. If a teacher in a school was molesting children in the bathroom and the principle found out, wouldn’t it be the principles responsibility to report? JW’s are NOT above the law. They have plenty to say about the Catholic Churches abuse issues, but not a word about their own.
Many churches remove the guilty party and refuse them attendance to any and all events. If they want to continue attending, they can do so through live stream. The #1 obligation is to keep children safe.

I think that's a misconception to be sincerely honest. People only go on the attack for something they feel strongly about, for instance lives being lost or people being hurt for whatever reason, specifically if it's due to rules or teachings which I won't go into......I know a lot of JWs whom are sincere good hearted people whom are simply following a faith & it's not thier fault that faith practices rules that are morrally questionable from a human perspective.

You do know that the Bible doesn't even mention a Governing Body, either existing today or in the First Century.
You must also know that it was Judge Rutherford that made the final decision on many matters, not a so called, Governing Body, you couldn't even name who they were supposed to be.
You may like to listen to a talk given by one of your leaders in the 1970s, it was by Fred Franz to a Gillead class and he explained how there was no first century Governing Body.

This interview was fascinating. It highlights so many of the positives of the Organization. If you found this insight into the JW lifestyle interesting, I'd highly recommend looking at both sides of the conversation! Comparing what trained spokesmen say and highlight about the Organization, vs. what every day people who have escaped the Organization have to say, will give you a more realistic view on what to make of JW's.
Only then can you compare information for yourself, and come to a balanced conclusion.
Policies to protect people during the pandemic, and to make sure disabled members are included in worship, is undeniably a wonderful thing! One thing you learn quickly from the inside, though, is that that's where the "love" ends. There is little love for people who have not yet cut ties outside of the religion and proved loyal to the Organization. There is more to this conversation than what was highlighted and lauded in this video.

And although in Matthew 28:18, it says, “And Jesus came and spake unto them saying, ALL power is given unto me in heaven and on earth,” they do not mention Him as much as you would expect if this is the case. Also, Acts 1:8 Jesus says, “And you shall be witnesses of ME,.....unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

We have been discussing the fact that Jesus is the king of his father's kingdom Government , he said that all authority had been given to him as seen at Matthew 28 : 18-20. God himself has given him that authority . We observed the memorial of Jesus death , as we do every year . It is Jesus himself that has commanded us to memorialize his death every year . Jesus said that the Good news of the kingdom would be preached all over the earth , this is seen in Matthew 24:14, and before Jesus takes action through his kingdom power to remove : war violence racism inequality injustice food shortage sickness and death and all other suffering . So we obey that call to preach the kingdom in the hands of Jesus , we are fulfilling bible prophecy

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, ‘DRINK ye all of it.’” Then in John 6:53 in speaking to a crowd of Jewish people, Jesus says, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” The Lord’s supper is for all believing Christians, not just for the 144,000. The Bible does not teach that there are 2 classes of Christians.

We know it isn't entirely accurate as we know the publishing members have decreased dramatically since Watchtower started live streaming etc. We know there overall numbers are the lowest in 42 years, but as u pointed out with all the negative press regarding child abuse in Russia & Australia, plus the shunning Court case in Belgium they need all the positive press they can buy. But we know it won't help them as they tie there own noose & numbers will continue to plummet with all the negative press, the ever rising Internet I.e. exJW knowledge being shared etc. So it makes no difference what so ever.

He left out the point that despite the fact that 275,000 got baptized last year, about 430,000 get disfellowshiped every year, leaving a negative balance in membership in addition to that 100s of thousands become disillusioned and have stop association, one example is children who grow up in the organization and are just waiting for adulthood to leave this religion, over all people are leaving in droves reminiscent of the scripture Mathew 24: 12 "The love of the most will cool off".
Also did t mention that 95% of those being baptized are born in children, whose parents pressure them to get dunked.
