I was a Witness for 27 years! It took about two minutes for me to learn how wrong they are. I gave my life to Christ about 11 months later. Let the name of the Lord Jesus Christ be praised forever!!!
Be careful when you're a member of an organization that tells you how to thank how to act and how to feel. JW's are a cult I know I was in it for 25 years. Very political, not very spiritual, fake people everywhere half of which are medicated. But yet they boast what organization vindicates Jehovah's name? My question is where did you get Jehovah😅😅 was that his real name? But you say you have the truth but do you really? So many unanswered questions, so many changes, what you believed years before could be changed in an instant. No apologies no explanation watchtower owes you nothing. But yet you still continue to blindly follow it. I am so ashamed of myself. I am so ashamed of myself.
@@majesty10xu15 Remember the 1983 Watchtower article titled “Avoid Independent Thinking”? She just means that she was awakened from Watchtower deception in a short amount of time when she stopped allowing the WT to do her thinking for her.
My daughter showed me irrefutable proof of CSA and the ARC . That’s what happened. I was done. I abhor child abuse. Will not tolerate it. It is a crime, not a sin like WT likes to say.
Witnesses use the term "independent thinking" in condemning the same idea that the Bible does in various texts: (Pr 28:26) He that is trusting in his own heart is stupid, but he that is walking in wisdom is the one that will escape. (Jer 10:23) I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. (1Co 1:18-20) For it is written: "I will make the wisdom of the wise [men] perish, and the intelligence of the intellectual men I will shove aside." Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the debater of this system of things? Did not God make the wisdom of the world foolish? These Bible writers are warning us against *human* "wisdom" or thinking that is independent of God's input.
I had been with JW's for three years, but deep in my spirit I always knew something was wrong, especially how they viewed and minimized Lord Jesus Christ.
minimized Lord Jesus Christ and yet are the only ones who teach Jesus will rule the earth after Armagedon and will restore this planet and mankind?? the rest say these is false..
They don't diminish Jesus but they give all the praises to God because he sent Jesus, Jesus is not God, some Christians focus more on Jesus, I don't believe in God so you all are brainwashed 😂

How about the opening words of Jesus' worshipful prayer: " Our Father hallowed be thy name" ? It's interesting how the new King James Bible now descides to restore the Almighty God's Divine Name, JEHOVAH, to 6973 places and, JAH, in 50 places, to the UNREVISED text of the Authorized King James Version of the Bible. Contains the Divine Name Concordance which lists 7023 occurrences of God's Divine Name. It's had a history of adding and removing Almighty God's name.

This cult stole a large part of my life from me. They covered for my stepmother who was beating me. She inflicted so much emotional damage and trauma. They are wicked. They are heretical. They cover for abuses within their church because involving authorities means involving "worldly". I needed so much deliverance and healing because of them. They stole my childhood. They'd stand over me as adult men and force me to lie to CPS when the school would call about my withdrawn behavior and bruises. They cover up rape and marital abuse. They teach absolute heresy. If you're reading this, please stay away from this wicked cult. If it wasn't for Jesus, I'd be dead because of them.

Christians used to burn people alive during the dark ages for petty things, like saying the Earth was round when the pope said the Earth was flat (Bruno) Joan of Arc was burned alive as a teenager, watch the movie SPOTLIGHT with Michael Keaton it's shocking
"They teach absolute heresy".. like what?? "They cover-up rape"you are making wild accusations that aren't proven. Watch the movie SPOTLIGHT with Michael Keaton now there is some disgusting immorality that goes on within the clergy class of Christendom. AND ALL OF ITS IS PROVEN!!
None of that happened to me or anyone else I know who is a JW. Don't blame the whole religion because that happened to you. I do understand the hurt though.
I'm not sure why this is popping up on my radar....i still have scars from this particular group stemming back from my childhood....I don't even speak on it. Great video.
I spent over 30 years in this organization. Happy that I woke up and left this cult! Jesus Christ is the truth, the way and the life, not a man made organization!
Ok really , well most all religions, the majority all dance to their own tune and put in their services exactly how they see it to make them feel better and it’s pretty easy because most of them don’t follow living like a good Christian, but they say they are a good Christian only because they go to church every Sunday or Thursday or whatever it isand the majority of the world people like easy don’t wanna put forth any work to investigating and finding what is real and what is not and that’s why the road to destruction is very large, and the road to life is very narrow.
Same girl I don’t know how they think they are teaching God or Jesus or love in general I never felt safe or like I was important. I never felt like I was anything more than a child who needed to be perfect. Even my parents were so brainwashed they used to tell me I was afraid of the dark when I was 4-5 because I must be doing something wrong. Jesus never once addressed God as Jehovah when speaking to Him. He always addressed Him as Father. Jesus as "the way" to the Father taught us the best way to have a close relationship with Abba, Father which is first and foremost recognizing Him as our Father.
It seems this video has attracted the attention of some JW Trolls. So let's start with John 1:1-3, the JW goto passage for trying to prove Jesus isn't God: _In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God; all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made._ The first thing to note is that this passage alone totally destroys the JW claim that Jesus is a creation, since he has been with God since the very beginning. Neither is Jesus some sort of demi-god. The third clause of John 1:1 in Greek reads καὶ Θεὸς ἦν ὁ Λόγος (kai theos ēn ho logos), literally meaning "and God was the Word". JWs make much of the lack of the article ὁ (ho) before Θεὸς (theos) in the third clause of the Greek text, saying its absence means the Word was only "a god". But they are inconsistent: John 1:18 & 8:54, Romans 8:33 & 9:5 and 1 Corinthians 8:4 & 8:6, 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 5:19, Galatians 6:7, Ephesians 4:6, 1 Thessalonians 2:5, and Revelation 21:7 all lack the article ὁ (ho) before θεὸς (theos) with exactly the same accenting, but the New World Translation (NWT) has no trouble omitting the indefinite article there and translating θεὸς (theos) there as 'God'. 2 Corinthians 1:3 even has the exact same καὶ θεὸς (kai theos) wording as John 1:1 following ὁ πατὴρ τῶν οἰκτιρμῶν (ho patēr tōn oiktirmōn) - an unambiguous reference to God the Father! On the JW's translation 'principle', 2 Corinthians 1:3 in the NWT should be translated as: _Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and a god of all comfort,_ thus differentiating between God as _the Father of mercies_ and Jesus Christ as _a god of all comfort,_ but they failed to do so. Oops! In all, there are 282 instances of the anarthrous θεός (theos) in its various inflections in the Greek New Testament, but the NWT only translates it as 'a god', 'god', 'gods' or 'godly' 16 times, demonstrating a mere 5.7% (1/17.6) commitment to their translation 'principle'. The next paragraph is for nerds Unlike English, Greek Grammar lacks the indefinite article and the Greek article functions differently from the English definite article. Plus the Greek article isn't needed for a noun to be definite. Nouns lacking the article are anarthrous. In Greek Grammar, θεός (theos) in the third clause of John 1:1 is what is known as a pre-verbal anarthrous nominative predicate noun. That is, the noun precedes a verb, lacks the article, and is the subject of and qualifies the object of the clause. In the New Testament, this form almost always denotes a quality. What this tells us is that the Word is qualitatively God. Put another way, the Word is distinct from but has the same nature or essence as God. There are very few cases in the New Testament where this form is indefinite. Thus, the onus is those arguing for the indefinite sense to explain why it has to be so here. Had John inserted the article before θεός (theos), that would mean the Word is identical with God (Unitarianism). The NWT even goes so far as to have Mark 12:27 say "He is not a God of the dead, but of the living" and to have Luke 20:38 say "he is not a God of the dead, but of the living" - note the quite unnecessary _a_ before God. Matthew 22:32 creates a problem for them, though, because that verse has the article - ὁ Θεὸς (ho theos) - which explains why the NWT translates the other two as 'a God' in spite of the lack of the article. The NWT translates Matthew 22:32 as "He is the God, not of the dead, but of the living". Translating καὶ Θεὸς ἦν ὁ Λόγος (kai theos ēn ho logos) as "and the Word was a god", as in the NWT, is polytheistic - a stance the NWT's treatment of Matthew 22:33, Mark 22:27, and Luke 20:38 reinforces. That Jesus is fully God (not just 'a god') is confirmed in: *John 8:58* _Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am."_ The Judeans' response in John 8:58 demonstrates that they fully understood the implications of what Jesus was saying. *John 10:30* _I and the Father are one_ The Greek adjective ἕν (hen), meaning 'one', being in the neuter - not the masculine εἶς (heis), which would say the Father and Son are one person - asserts unity of essence, not merely being in communion, or unity of will or of power. That this is the correct understanding is confirmed by the Judeans’ reaction at John 10:31-33. Jesus’ statement denies both Sabellianism (Unitarianism) and Arianism (JWs). The same sentiment is found in: *John 17:11* _Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one._ and *John 17:22* _The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one_ Note that there is no suggestion Christians will attain the same essence or nature as God but that, as God's sons, Christians will ultimately share the one essence or nature - as Christ's bride. *John 20:28* _Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"_ Note that Jesus accepted Thomas' acclamation. *Romans 9:5* _to them (the Israelites) belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed for ever. Amen._ *Philippians 2:5-11* _Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father._ *Colossians 1:15-19* _He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities - all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent. For in him all the fulness of God was pleased to dwell_ *Titus **2:11**-13* _For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men, training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passions, and to live sober, upright, and godly lives in this world, awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ_ *Hebrews 1:2-8* _in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of his nature, upholding the universe by his word of power. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has obtained is more excellent than theirs. For to what angel did God ever say, "Thou art my Son, today I have begotten thee"? Or again, "I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son"? And again, when he brings the first-born into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." Of the angels he says, "Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire." But of the Son he says, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of thy kingdom"_ *2 Peter 1:1* _Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ_ *1 John 5:20* _And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, to know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life._ Additionally, for JWs to argue there are two gods in John 1:1 makes them polytheists. In which case they have a real problem with their failure to truly worship Jesus in light of: *John 5:22-23* _The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him._ Note how the Son is to be given the same honor as the Father and the Father isn't honored by those who refuse to do so. The greatest honor we can give God is to worship him "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23). Indeed, we are commanded to do so: *Deuteronomy 6:5* _You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might_ So, anyone who fails to honor the Son by giving him the same worship the Father is due both dishonor the Father and breaks the greatest commandment. *2 John 1:7* _For many deceivers have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh; such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist._ The same sentiment is found in 1 John 4:2-3. Note the clause _"the coming of Jesus Christ"._ This says far more than that Jesus was born; it points to his pre-existence as the divine λόγος (λόγος). And it tells us that anyone who denies that pre-existence _"is the deceiver and the antichrist"._ JWs would do well to reflect on how someone who denies Jesus’ divinity and refuses to give him the same worship the Father can attain salvation The NWT, as might be expected, mistranslates most of the above Christological passages for the sake of their dogma and contrary to Greek grammar and/or context. Now watch the JW Trolls respond with their obsfucations, specious nonsense, and sophistry...

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. I was required to "prepare for" and attend FIVE meetings per week...The Ministry School, The Service Meeting, The Book Study, The Watchtower Study and the Public Talk. Along with this, I was expected to get at LEAST 10 hours of "Field Service" or Door to Door each month, prepare and give a "talk" about every two months, and attend all of the Circuit and District Conventions. (District Conventions back then were FIVE LONG DAYS.) I had very little time or energy for anything else, and I rarely did any homework. I was also not allowed to have any friends in "the world" or "worldly" friends. I was not allowed to partake in ANY after school activities...I was not even allowed to join the Chess Club. I never got to celebrate Christmas or have a birthday party...not to mention Easter, 4th of July or any other holiday. And I did not have a clue that I was in a cult. I believed everything I was taught since I was a baby, and like I was trained, would DEFEND "the truth" to anyone that tried to show me the true light or real truth. I was about 40 years old when I began to question what I had been taught. I coincided with them changing the doctrine on 1914 yet again, due to their "new light." According to them, the generation of 1914, is STILL alive, and Jesus has already returned, but he came invisibly. Once I started to do honest research with a lot of it using the "Societies" own past publications, my eyes were opened. (Among other things, they have had one false prophesy after another.) I have now been free from this high control cult for many years, after doing a "long fade" as to avoid being disfellowshiped and shunned, simply for no longer agreeing with their doctrine. One thing to keep in mind...you may....just may, be able to plant a small seed of doubt in the mind of a JW, but they are TRAINED to raise their shields and NOT even listen to anyone or anything that questions the teaching of their Governing Body...especially an X-JW who they refer to as "apostates." They will not visit your church, or read anything you give to them. At your door, they may take it, but they are trained to throw it away without looking at it. Never forget they are truly cultists. And I am so glad I have freed myself from them.
Whether they are cult or not, let God be the judge. These are their beliefs, respect their beliefs. They did nothing evil. Don't judge, let only God judge.

God called the Israelites “His chosen people.” Deuteronomy 7:6 But they always disappointed Jehovah. They betrayed him so many times. PSALMS 78:40-41 They even killed Jesus. JOHN 19: 6 Was God’s choice of people wrong? Did He make a mistake? God had to retire Moses and let him die because he was getting tired and and stressed out he was making mistakes. NUMBERS 20:12 Was God wrong for choosing Moses? Jehovah blessed Solomon with wisdom beyond compare. But in the end Solomon betrayed God beyond His limit. 1 KINGS 11:9-10 Was God’s wisdom wrong? The problem with the world is they think Jehovah’s Witnesses are perfect people. We are all imperfect and sinners without exception. Jehovah’s Witnesses can be wrong too. There are many fake ones too. The only difference between Jehovah’s Witnesses and others is Jehovah Himself called His people “His Witness.” Every religions in the world is named by man. But Jehovah named His people “You are my witnesses and I am God.” ISAIAH 43:12 Every version of the Bible says the same. There is no scripture in any version of the Bible at all of God saying “you are my Catholics” or “you are my Protestants,” not even “you are my Christians. That is because God knew Christianity would be so divided and messed up and turn into Christendom killing each other (Catholics vs Protestants for hundreds of years) and they twists His Word, and can’t even figure out and identify who God is and who Jesus is. Very disappointing to Jehovah.
God created hell for the devil? Makes no sense? Why does the Bible say that Satan's head will be crushed and that Satan and his angels are thrown into the lake of fire?
Satan is under Jesus feet. Trample on the snake 🐍 and scorpions 🦂. Satan and the angels that rebelled against God, along with those that left their dwelling to mate with the daughters of man, went against God. To simplify it they want nothing with God so why wouldn’t it make sense for God to make a place for those who want nothing to do with him?? As for the head stomping it signifies the power God/Jesus has over satan. I’m sure someone else will come along and explain it in more detail, just kind of giving you the short version. God bless you.
@dorcaso1619 There are several scriptures that describe Hell. Mostly as God's burning wrath or the complete absence of God. I like the book of Isaiah cause it tells not only of God's mercy but of his wrath. And the ultimate wrath from God is to be without him which is Hell.
There is a difference between Hell/Sheol/Gehenna/Hades, the place for departed unsaved people and the headquarters of the Devil/Demon, and the Lake of Fire, the place God will eventually punish the Devil, the false prophet, the anti-Christ unbelievers etc. The bible says the place called Hell itself will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Revelation 20:14
The JW experience is really crazy. I grew up in it but my dad got screwed over by other elders and pretty much stopped participating. He also had mental and physical health problems. 27 years ago i started questioning things and quit the cult, even got disfellowshipped, but my parents never shunned me. To this day my mom will talk about some kingdom hall and organization stuff to me and i just nod my head. I'd never ever try to talk her out of it, she's 79 and finds it satisfying. Last year the leadership said that people like me might still get saved at Armageddon and i hope that makes her feel better. When i looked at historical Christianity i realized a lot of what i was taught Christians believed were straw men. Though i still think JWs got a lot of things right about primitive Christianity, which had always been a work in progress. You did a pretty good job with this and it often surprises me that so many former JWs become born again. I tried it and it didn't work for me.
They need an identity and to fill the void in their lives. It’s hard for them to come to terms with their own mortality and want something to have hope in.
@@ncp5957 I tried the born again thing. Didn't work. I'm too analytical. Besides I don't see anything in the Bible that says anyone goes to heaven. If I were to believe in YHWH again I'd probably have to be a Jew.
@@cygnustsp Thxs for your reply. Yes, the born again experience can feel tough to receive for us analytical people! But don't give up. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is received by faith, just like the faith needed for answers to prayer or receiving a miracle or like anything those people in Heb 11 received. Faith is basically just taking God at His Word and not wavering. Like when you believe a word from a trusted friend, you know they'll keep their word and can believe them. It takes effort and tenacity sometimes to stay the course and not be moved when everything in the physical looks contrary. 1 Pet 1:7. I had little knowledge about receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit when l first heard about it. But l saw Rom 8:9 (latter part) and l was determined to receive no matter what - my eternity was at stake here! Acts 2:38 too. And l wanted to hear/know God too. I did everything l knew (prayer etc) during the next few months and l received in almost a year. One day l was reading an article about the baptism in the Holy Spirit, going through the scriptures on it (faith comes by hearing too). I felt God's presence and that night l asked and received. Thank you LORD! I am certain believers are meant to receive at baptism, early on in the christian walk, but so often wrong/lack of teaching etc robs people. Some people receive with amazing experiences, some are not so obvious to any observers. Receiving the Holy Spirit isn't meant to be difficult, those in Acts chps 7,10 & 19 received very soon. Don't give in. Luke 11:13. On heaven - l see saints will be living on earth when Jesus returns. But l haven't found any mention of saints living in heaven when Jesus returns. They reign with Him on earth. New Jerusalem comes to earth in Rev too Jew - maybe messianic jew would fit better:). Or skip any names and just follow Jesus. Denominations often have so many additions to the scriptures:(
My whole family are JW and I’m just coming to know Jesus, I want to be able to bring them to the true God but I know it might be hard because they have been in that organization for years, I’m extremely torn & I don’t have much biblical knowledge/theology to go off of; only my faith and some truths. They are very kind people and I really want to be able to guide them but I really don’t want to hurt their feeligs

Jehova has helped my family SO much. My sister was doing drugs and had a very bad boyfriend and my family prayed for her to get better and safe. Now my sister is no longer doing drugs, got married with a guy who cares about her, and is doing SO much better❤ it’s no coincidence that this has happened. Jehova loves us and just wants to give us the life that we deserve. Think what you think, believe what you believe, but I know that I am in the right path.
So what....there are millions of Christians in every church that has had the same experience... What are you trying to prove with such a generic boring response?
I was a JW and have been out for just over a year. Please do some research. The religion has brainwashed you so you don’t use your critical thinking skills and abilities to discern what is facts. Religion appeals to emotions and uses them to form a dependency that overlooks the dangerous behaviour that goes on. There religion is spending millions of dollars covering up child abuse. Their doctrine is dangerous and goes against human rights.
You know Satan is always at work, I heard similar storys, of people who were in Orthodox Church and struggled with addiction and sin. And when the left the Church for another denomination all their temptations went away... You know why ? Because Satan is content with where they are now.
JW's are the reason why I broke up the best relationship I had, I had to break up with her because if we didn't she would be shunned by her own family, how is that a good example of love?
Thank you for this information 🙏🙏🙏I am adding it's direct to the point message very valid to teach my students🙏🙏 Many Blessings to you and Family in Christ
Amen! But they actually have a heavily altered version of the Bible-their new world translation. So, I wish you could've suggested they read a reputable standard Bible like NKJV, ESV or NASB.
1984 new world translation is arguably the best translation that's primarily based on the masoretic text (LXX and dead sea scrolls are better manuscript traditions) It's probably fair to say the 2013 edition is a little poorer and I'd agree ESV is pretty solid but whatever the denominations shortcomings there bibles whilst not faultless are high tier. I own a layman's parallel bible and see much greater liberties taken with the living bible for example into skewed paraphrase territory
Above comment. I became a witness from kjv. Truth in any bible nwt Very Good input Jehovah name in again and people not confused as to Jehovah's son Jesus our Lord and saviour
JW felt off to me and so I stopped going to the kingdom hall with my Grandma when i was about 12. I went a few more times here and there but not every time to make her happy, and every time i felt it in my gut that it was off, something wasn't right. I'm 22 now and she still is a part of it, I always believed in god but I didn't believe the ways they did. I left organized religion altogether when i was 12 but the brainwashing is still carved into me even now. I find it hard to assimilate and believe what other christians believe because the way i was raised the JW beliefs are just carved into my mind on certain subjects. Even though I'm aware of this its so hard to shake it and its hard to listen to what christians believe and it has left me with lasting trust issues on religion. When you're brought up with this way of thinking its so hard to trust what the truth is. I have a son now and i will not subject him to the sad, lonely childhood i had. I couldnt participate in holiday festivities at school so i was separated, had to sit out when others were singing christmas songs in chorus, couldnt go to many chorus events because they just so happened to be at a church, no birthdays, no participating in my friends birthdays, because it all "takes glory away from god and puts it onto yourself or someone else" and for holidays it was all pagan, even mothers day? Ive done research into all of it and its just not true. I cant stand what theyve done to me and its hard to change.
Former Jehovah witness here. I will tell you for free that there is no one church or religion on earth that is 100% correct. I walked away and joined a liberal trinity church. I would still walk back into a Kingdom hall anytime. It does not belong to earthing man to direct his own step!
That's awsome info,, I believe in Yahweh Jehovah, and that he's Jesus father, says it in the bible, and not one religion is correct, as man inherent sin, but good for the bible knowledge,
@fabiankeighran5350 I live in Kenya, Africa. The name Yahweh exists in the some native languages long before the colonials arrived, long before the bible as we know it
It sounds like you walked from one bad experience to another. The answer is to read the Bible alone (Not the NWT) and immerse yourself into it and it will reveal itself to you. When you do this you will recognize if a church is in God’s will, or a counterfeit. Good translations include the New American Standard, King James and New King James.
Back in the 60s, as a very young hospital tech, I remember having to comfort a young nurse who was very distressed after watching a young child die because his JW parents refused a transfusion. Fortunately UK law was changed not long after, so that children who are unlucky enough to have parents in this foul cult are now made wards of court as soon as they arrive at hospital.
Started a couple of months ago reading the Bible and the first experience I ever had of someone trying to preach to me was a Jehovah Witness. She sounded convincing but after Googling who they are I asked her about Jesus and his second coming. At that point I had already read the book of Mathew and I do remember reading the warnings from Jesus about him false prophets coming in his name. When asked she referred me to a different verse in the bible Old Testament which claimed that God is Jehovah. But she was in capable of explaining Jesus second coming which hasn't taken place, yet. I am a new Christian, so I am still learning but I felt something false in her words. There are so many false teachers and false Shepards. Thanks for the video.
Luke 14:18 Aramaic Bible in Plain English Yeshua answered and said to him, “It is written: 'you shall worship THE LORD JEHOVAH your God, and him only you shall serve.'
Thank you for this enlightening video. It’s just what I needed to hear. Someone I was a customer of just sadly passed away from cancer, and in looking at her past social media posts it appears she was a JW. I’m saddened by that as I won’t see her in eternity as I thought she was a Christian.
Jehovah's Witnesses are not "a part of Christianity", or Christendom. They are *the only true Christians.* I see many comments from people seemingly claiming that JW do not accept Jesus, minimize Jesus, or do not recognize Jesus as the way, the truth and the life, or something to this effect. Nothing could be more false. Perhaps they mean "minimize" because we do not believe Jesus is God, and we don't believe that, because Jesus did not believe that. (John 17:3) This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. 4:53 Jesus is God's first creation: (Colossians 1:15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; (Revelation 3:14) “To the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ceʹa write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God: 5:24 Jesus not worshipped: (Matthew 4:10) Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’” _The Greek word for worship_ can also mean obeisance depending on context. We honor Jesus to the glory of God, who sent Jesus. Phil 2:11 6:00 Jesus' resurrection: 1 Cor 15:44 It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. _Jesus is the last Adam._ 7:38 Jesus second coming: Jesus' coming generally refers to when Jesus come to judge and to bring Armageddon. What JW believe about 1914 it that Jesus was enthroned in God's kingdom in that year, thus, beginning his "presence" in kingdom power. The end of the gentile times. (Matthew 24:3) While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” 8:44 Holy spirit is not a person. (Acts 2:33) Therefore, because he was exalted to the right hand of God and received the promised holy spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you see and hear. _Holy spirit was poured out on the disciples. As they were baptized with it._ 9:57 There is no trinity: (1 Corinthians 8:6) there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him. _The apostle was speaking directly about this topic, who God is._ He did not say _the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit_ there. Because he did not believe that. Such a concept was foreign to the apostles, and to Jesus. 11:10 Salvation is by faith: (James 2:26) Indeed, just as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. No one can earn salvation, but faith without work is dead. *Can a dead faith save?* 11:57 Only 144,000 go to heaven: (Revelation 14:3) And they are singing what seems to be a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, and no one was able to master that song except the 144,000, who have been bought from the earth. (Revelation 5:9, 10) And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought people for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.” _These ones serve with Jesus as kings over the earth._ 12:50 Humans do not have an eternal immortal soul: JW believe we are a soul. The physical body with life's breath. At time, in the Bible, soul is used in conjunction to living again in the resurrection. However: Ezekiel 18:4 Look! All the souls-to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son-to me they belong. The soul that is sinning-it itself will die. 15:21 There is no hell: The Hebrew "sheol" and the Greek "hades" are translated as hell in many Bible's. Those translators also mistakenly translated the Greek "gehenna" as hell as well, confusing people. Hell is mankind's common grave, where people are literally dead awaiting a resurrection. Hell will be emptied, and the hell is thrown into the lake of fire, Gehenna. The second death, meaning it will be gone forever. KJV Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
JWs are not Christians because they reject the true Jesus and accept a Jesus of their own imaginations. JWs misrepresent the Bible to maintain their false religion. Take your verses for instance: JWs rip Col 1:15 out of context so they can claim he is a creation, failing to look at the entire sentence. V. 16 is part of the same Greek sentence in which Paul tells us why he calls Jesus the firstborn OVER all creation. What reason does he give? Is it ” because 1) he is the agent of creation, ie the one who created all things (positional) or 2) he was the first created thing (chronological)? This is where JWs and other unitarians demonstrate they’re not honest. They will not honestly answer the question, but will deflect, play “whataboutism,” or flat out lie. I could go on and address the other verses that you misrepresent, rip out of context, or flat-out-lie about, but by posting one question will make it easy for people to see that you are not an honest person when you don't answer it.
@@BasicBiblicalTruth You said "JWs are not Christians because they reject the true Jesus and accept a Jesus of their own imaginations." Is this my imagination? (1 Corinthians 8:6) there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him. That is what I believe. Do you? (Matthew 16:16) Simon Peter answered: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” That is what I believe. Do you?
@@BasicBiblicalTruth You said "Paul tells us why he calls Jesus the firstborn OVER all creation." Does he "tells" us "OVER" there? Or is the literal word for word "firstborn all creation"? Do most Bible have "OVER" there or "of? What Kevin here likes to do recently is the "The Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy". 🤣 He will use different Bibles, whichever one supports his current argument.
Thanks for proving my point, Tralfaz. I asked you to answer my question and you failed to do so, which is why I didn't bother addressing all your other lies and misrepresentations of the Bible. JWs refuse to be honest, even in the little things.
@@BasicBiblicalTruthif your premise is bogus, then the question is suspect. The firstborn of all creation would indicate chronological order, as well as in rank, as was the usual case with the firstborn ones of the Israelites.
Fellows I really need your help. My girlfriend was raised in this organisation. She stopped their meetings before i met her. We were having nice and lovely relationship, she later starting back not more 3 months ago and after she started going back everything has fallen from we planning our marriage to break up given me some reasons the organisation teachers her. Please i really need help to help her out of this. I really ready for any support
Does it matter if Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult or not? there is a much larger battle to fight than the issues regarding cults? The larger war that is being waged is religious liberty. Do you really think this is a war you can fight all by yourself or are you going to need all the help you can get? If you create division among religious organizations you are letting the bad side win. Is that really where you want to be and is that what your ministry represents? Think about which side of the fight you are on before making uninformed comments about any religion. When the term "cult" is used, it usually applies to a lack of understanding of something new or a basis of a narrative to make one's church look better than the alternatives. Sooner or later, we are all going to need each other so don't burn any bridges that may rescue you in the future. Such moves are hardly a Christian response to "Loving one another as I have loved you!"
please give me one verse where Jesus christ said we three Gods in one, but i kindly plead with you to read 1 corinthians 15 the answer is very clear there.
I'm not a JW but my co workers are... from the boss down. Been working with this company for over 10 years and not once have they asked me to join... because I'm a bit crazy with the things that comes outta my mouth. 😂
That tells you right there tho they aren’t “desperate” for people. They don’t need anyone. It’s all about God. Jehova God knows you and knows me and wants us to have a relationship with him and to find eternal life not eternal death and that’s what the most important thing
Remove the log in your eye before trying to remove the spark in another. You can preach love and not attack others but pray for them if you feel they have lost the way.
I don't know where you live but in my country it is illegal and most likely the reason they're not preaching to you at work. It's a form of harassment and they wouldn't do anything that would "make jehovah look bad"
Cult or not I don't know, but one thing I know is that I become a believer thanks to JW. They were the only ones who took time to come to my house to study the bible with me and point me in the right direction. Surely, some of their teachings are wrong ( I do believe that Jesus is God, We are saved by grace through faith, and there is a place called Hell ....), but if most Christians could be like them we will win souls for the kingdom of heaven. Let's get out there and preach the good news of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus is coming back very soon.
People express God differently. As long as they are peaceful and not believing or teaching that outsiders will be burned forever or be destroyed simply for having somewhat different beliefs, it is fine with me.
Define "cult". According to the dictionary, JW's are NOT a cult, we don't have special rites or ceremonies, that's the catholic Church. We don't follow a man, that is also a Catholic tradition looking to the Pope as their leader. Our doctrines are true and no one is able to prove otherwise while the churches are overwhelmingly teaching pagan doctrines that are lies. The churches are so confused they can't explain who they actually worship; Is Jesus God or is he a man, is there a trinity and who does Jesus pray to, himself?? The REAL cult is Christendom's mainstream religions with thousands of denominations having different opinions, different beliefs and not in unity with each other. THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES!
@@Mark-ec3lp your definition of a cult sounds like the Catholic church! The leadership wearing funny clothes and hats and burning people alive by the thousands during the middle ages who disagreed with the Pope

Disappointing explanations. Very little bibleverses were mentioned to state why JWs are wrong. Nor did you use empathetic language - you seem to not even have checked why JWs believe what they believe from scripture (they quote scripture a LOT). Only empty speech and resorting to philosophy to explain your beliefs.
@@dorcaso1619 Apparently my response keeps getting deleted here. Someone doesn’t like my explanations (either UA-cam or the channel owner here) Compare John 1:1 with Acts 28:6 in your concordance- maybe you‘ll see what I wanted to say.
@@GsWitness I see this response. As far as John 1:1 The Word has been changed to Jehovah. You know, the devil know scripture more than all of us. He's very cunning and in order for him to operate and oppress God's people, he needs to be aware of things. Similar to the way he tempted Jesus, and many others in the bible. So your comment portion that says that they quote scripture a lot, doesn't really hold weight. Im not sure how Acts 28:6 relates to John 1:1 They say that Paul was a god?
@@dorcaso1619 I don’t see in John 1:1 that the word was changed to Jehovah. Jehovah‘s Witnesses do think that the Word is Jesus. In their NWT, JWs translate John 1:1 with „the Word was a god“, which is what many people criticize, as most translations say „the word was God“. However, if you look into Interlinear translations showing the greek original text, the same wording is used in Acts 28:6 - every translation I know says that people thought Paul was „a god“, albeit if you wanted to translate consistently, you‘d have to translate it as „Paul is God“.
As a former Jehovah's Witness, I became disillusioned with the multitude of regulations imposed by the organization: no beards, no participation in social groups, restrictions on reading religious texts not authorized by the governing body or Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, abstaining from holiday celebrations, limitations on marrying outside the organization, mandatory comments aligned with the Watchtower's teachings, no room for free will in comments, strict dress code enforcement, obligatory preaching, unwavering loyalty to the elders and governing body, discouragement of pursuing higher education, scrutiny of private businesses, prohibition of blood transfusions, numerous failed end-of-the-world predictions, inconsistencies in teachings, hypocrisy, favoritism, and discrimination among members. These factors, among others, led me to depart from the organization and embrace my own traditional African religion, where I discovered peace, truth, freedom, and genuine solutions to my problems. Odinani to the world.
What religious text did you want to read other than the Bible? You said "limitations on marrying outside the organization," So, you do not have an issue with JW alone, but with the Bible counsel altogether.
@@Hakunawins2 Yes. Where exactly were you a Witness??? Did you think the congregation controls what you read, or watch. It gives guidance to such, but you ultimately decide. So, you gave up Jesus and salvation to pursue a demonic religion? So, you can be "free" like Adam and Eve were?

My aunt is JW, I let her bible study my kids with me, but the topic is always end of the wold and I realize my kids might question why they need to study when the world is about to end and loss interest on pursuing self development so I decided to stop immediately.
I'm a greek orthodox, but I left both ORTHODOX AND JWS. they are very bad false Christianities. Still though, Jesus is not God. His personality, resembles God. He is LIKE HIS FATHER, BUT NOT GOD. Jesus never said, " that he is God " He never took the head of his Father Jehovah Role. Plus it was ORTHODOX that removed the name Jehovah from the Bible. Which is why I left ORTHODOXY!
I'm a non religious person. I'm in no way affiliated to any religion, but honestly speaking, your biblical understanding is very wanting. You're talking based on your beliefs and emotions rather than fact backed. Just an ordinary and a typical Christendom thinking. Please, explain what Jesus meant in Mark 13:32-36 and in John 14:28? Why do you people keep on forcing Jesus to be who he isn't? Luke 4:8, Mathew 4:10, Mark 16:19, Romans 8:34, Luke 22:69 and many more.
Lies. Charles T. Russell was never affiliated with Seventh Day Adventist Church. In fact, C.T. Russell was born in 1852, about three years after Miller’s death and eight after “the Great Dissapointment”, and was raised as a Presbyterian.
I stayed away from them for almost 20 years and it was holding me back in life. My mother has been a JW member since the 80s and tried to pressure her beliefs upon me & my sisters. To be precise, it was affecting my mentality to the point I wanted nothing to do with the organization. Again my mother tried to pressure me in it as an adult and politely turned her down. I'm happy where I am and I found God not only in a church elsewhere, but within myself
JW persiastently coming into our house trying to convice us to attend to their fellowship but we refuse. We know the truth ..Lets continue pray for them.
Catch JWs and teach them the truth. Unfortunately, JWs would know all the tricks churches use to make Jesus into God. They were once part of the churches and probably used those tricks themselves. Until the TRUTH set them free. (John 8:32).
Q:What is the difference between between a Jehovah's Witness and a car? A:It is easier to close the door on a car! To be honest my friend had his marriage break up when his wife joined the Jehovah's Witness's it is indeed a CULT!
At 11:00 the presenter gets to saying we don't understand everything about God, and yet he knows enough to know Jehovahs Witnesses are wrong, and he is right. Sounds cocky to me, and I'm not JW either. If you don't understand something, don't condemn others for understanding it differently then.
There's a difference between JW and God they are not God? We don't know everything about God. JW principles and teachings are available for anyone to study, and understand.....
@jo-andrikoch1424 No kidding, what I said went totally over your head. To dumb it down for you, I also don't believe in Nicean Creed Christianity because, to me, it's Catholic. The unity of God is well explained in the Bible, and the JWs actually have part of it right. The Bible does teach in Colosians that Jesus was the firstborn of all creation. That proves he was created by God the Father and is subordinate to him. Plus, we can be one with God and Jesus. The Bible teaches these things plainly but Christianity in general has fallen away and can't accept Biblical truth and would rather find a creed that fits their narrative rather than accept the truth written in the Bible. Case in point, you'll explain to me the verse I'll quote, you or someone else, you'll explain it away because you don't believe it qnd you'll call me non Christian because I do believe it exactly as it reads, in Exodus 7:1 God says the following to Moses: "And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet"
I have a lovely student who is a JW. She recently invited me to her church. We recently had a discussion where I pointed out to her that Jesus is God. She is a very lovely person and I pray she finds a church that is not a cutl
JWs are not a cult. And they also believe in hell. But not in the way most religions do. This guy is so wrong. You people need to get the right beliefs of them by doing research.
@@ShinyPearls-f6ngoodness. I can't even begin to explain where you are wrong but I will end where you are right. Do your research. JWs have killed people with false teachings. And covered up child s** abuse. What do you think this organization is, if not a deadly cult?
Here are some facts that you can research: The JW "leaders" have claimed for themselves without ANY biblical support whatsoever the following: They are the only, ONLY ones who... - were appointed and anointed by God and have His approval and ALL others are false, wrong, apostate, of Satan and so on. - are the only, ONLY communicators of God's truth and ALL others are false, wrong, apostate, of Satan and so on. - are the only, ONLY ones who can interpret the Bible correctly and ALL others are false, wrong, apostate, of Satan and so on. - are the only, ONLY ones who have the genuine message of salvation and ALL others are false, wrong, apostate, of Satan and so on. And they have also declared that a person absolutely MUST become a JW in order to have the possibility of maybe gaining salvation one day. Now - The above listing are some core essential beliefs of JWs. And to be a JW means that a person is absolutely 100% REQUIRED to believe the listing above - without question - for the possibility of MAYBE gaining salvation one day.. The problem is - NONE of these core JW beliefs or requirements listed above are biblical. And here is what the JW masters have stated about themselves: They have openly declared that your attitude toward and treatment of them - NOT Christ, THEM - will be the determining factor as to whether you will have the possibility of maybe gaining salvation one day or not: Watchtower 81/8/1 26 Harvesting in the "Time of the End" “Your attitude toward the wheatlike anointed “brothers” of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be the determining factor as to whether you go into “everlasting cutting-off” or receive “everlasting life."
If getting the name of God correct was genuinely important to you, and if it was your greatest way to judge who are believing correctly, then you would reject JWs because the word “Jehovah” is well known to have first appeared in the 16th century, and the actual accurate rendering of God’s name is “Yahweh.” The “j” sound doesn’t even exist in Hebrew. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6
@@moniqueosullivan2250Then why did you quote Psalm 83:18??? What was the point you were trying to make? I think you’re a Jehovah Witness and you think quoting Psalm 83:18 somehow magically shows Jehovah Witnesses must be the true religion because they claim to be the only group who use God’s Name (which isn’t true anyway - millions of Christians use God’s Name, Yahweh/Jehovah). So what was your point? Why did you quote Psalm 83:18? Are you a JW?
@@SpielbergMichael what does it matter if I am or not ? King James Bible Psalms 83:18 says that Gods name is Jehovah so you can go and argue with the Bible not me …..why don’t you call out to King Yeshua instead of King Jesus if your so concerned about it ?
@@moniqueosullivan2250You just tacitly admitted that i was 100% correct. And you are undercutting your own JW argument - the point you were trying to insinuate by quoting Psalm 83:18 and trying to say JWs must be the true religion because they use God’s Name - and yet now you’re saying it doesn’t matter if people use the Name Yahweh - which millions of Christians do and they are most definitely NOT JWs. So you have no point whatsoever. And you obviously don’t understand - I’m NOT saying the difference in those names is very important. That was my point.

Are you the "leader" of this divisive "ministry"?
May I ask you what happened specifically in that 2 minutes in which you had that awakening? I would love to hear your story please.
Witnesses use the term "independent thinking" in condemning the same idea that the Bible does in various texts:
(Pr 28:26) He that is trusting in his own heart is stupid, but he that is walking in wisdom is the one that will escape.

Lol. Still in the cult. Wait until you get out. Not one JW will support you. You will be shunned lmao.
It seems this video has attracted the attention of some JW Trolls.
So let's start with John 1:1-3, the JW goto passage for trying to prove Jesus isn't God:
_In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God; all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made._
The first thing to note is that this passage alone totally destroys the JW claim that Jesus is a creation, since he has been with God since the very beginning.
On the JW's translation 'principle', 2 Corinthians 1:3 in the NWT should be translated as:
_Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and a god of all comfort,_
thus differentiating between God as _the Father of mercies_ and Jesus Christ as _a god of all comfort,_ but they failed to do so.
The next paragraph is for nerds
Unlike English, Greek Grammar lacks the indefinite article and the Greek article functions differently from the English definite article.
That Jesus is fully God (not just 'a god') is confirmed in:
*John 8:58*
_Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am."_
The Judeans' response in John 8:58 demonstrates that they fully understood the implications of what Jesus was saying.
*John 10:30*
_I and the Father are one_
The Greek adjective ἕν (hen), meaning 'one', being in the neuter - not the masculine εἶς (heis), which would say the Father and Son are one person - asserts unity of essence, not merely being in communion, or unity of will or of power. That this is the correct understanding is confirmed by the Judeans’ reaction at John 10:31-33. Jesus’ statement denies both Sabellianism (Unitarianism) and Arianism (JWs). The same sentiment is found in:
*John 17:11*
_Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one._
and
*John 17:22*
_The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one_
Note that there is no suggestion Christians will attain the same essence or nature as God but that, as God's sons, Christians will ultimately share the one essence or nature - as Christ's bride.
*John 20:28*
_Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"_
Note that Jesus accepted Thomas' acclamation.
*Romans 9:5*
_to them (the Israelites) belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed for ever. Amen._
*Philippians 2:5-11*
_Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father._

*Titus **2:11**-13*
_For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men, training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passions, and to live sober, upright, and godly lives in this world, awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ_
*Hebrews 1:2-8*
_in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. And again, when he brings the first-born into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." Of the angels he says, "Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire." But of the Son he says, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of thy kingdom"_
*2 Peter 1:1*
_Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ_
*1 John 5:20*
_And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, to know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life._
Additionally, for JWs to argue there are two gods in John 1:1 makes them polytheists. In which case they have a real problem with their failure to truly worship Jesus in light of:
*John 5:22-23*
_The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him._
Note how the Son is to be given the same honor as the Father and the Father isn't honored by those who refuse to do so. The greatest honor we can give God is to worship him "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23). Indeed, we are commanded to do so:
*Deuteronomy 6:5*
_You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might_
So, anyone who fails to honor the Son by giving him the same worship the Father is due both dishonor the Father and breaks the greatest commandment.
*2 John 1:7*
_For many deceivers have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh; such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist._
The same sentiment is found in 1 John 4:2-3. Note the clause _"the coming of Jesus Christ"._ This says far more than that Jesus was born; it points to his pre-existence as the divine λόγος (λόγος). And it tells us that anyone who denies that pre-existence _"is the deceiver and the antichrist"._
JWs would do well to reflect on how someone who denies Jesus’ divinity and refuses to give him the same worship the Father can attain salvation
The NWT, as might be expected, mistranslates most of the above Christological passages for the sake of their dogma and contrary to Greek grammar and/or context.
Now watch the JW Trolls respond with their obsfucations, specious nonsense, and sophistry...

*1 Corinthians 8:6*
_yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we are._
In the context of the larger passage, this verse tells us that, in contradistinction from the pagans, we Christians have one God (the Father) from whom (ἐξ οὗ - ex hou) as the source and for whose purpose everything exists, and one Lord (Jesus Christ) by whom (δἰ οὗ - di' hou) as God’s agent of creation, everything came into existence. Everything exists for the Father (εἰς αὐτόν - eis auton) but it is through Jesus Christ (δι’ αὐτοῦ - di’ autou) that we Christians live.

Hi there!! Glad I quitted attending that cult. Now I am an Anabaptist, Christ set me free!!!
all religion are cults . all of them
I'm from South Africa and my mom is Jehovas witness and about a month ago someone called brother Enigma warned people from JW to leave the cult because it is not of God, I cant wait to show her this video.
I really need to learn more about this… I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness but had a bad experience and a lot of guilt centered associated with it so I abandoned the religion and Christianity all together and took a more Pagan route/experimenting with other faiths but Jesus never left my heart and has called me back and I want to answer the call, but I want to serve God the right way, I want to understand. I need more faith and clarity right now, please pray for me.🙏❤
I have so many questions. First, I’ve been looking into Catholicism but I can’t really agree with their glorification of saints or the images that are almost worshipped, especially since Jesus taught us how to pray and never mentioned praying to/through a saint or even angel. It seems like idolatry to me. Do you agree with that? And secondly I was always taught that the holy spirit is God’s active force, not a feeling, separate thing. Why is that so?
Also, who are the 144,000? I was taught a certain way but now I’m unsure
Hi, I was born in, but never baptized in the organization. When my dad refused a blood transfusion I decided to look into things more closely. I found a place called JW facts that is full of information. It will answer your questions. It really helped me.

I love the way he was unintentionally funny towards the end😅...
“I love you, I'm praying for you...but you are deceived.”
Whether they are cult or not, let God be the judge. These are their beliefs, respect their beliefs. They did nothing evil. Don't judge, let only God judge.
Disagree. Their teachings have torn families apart. I can't respect an organization that puts themselves in God's place.
😂😂😂 Yes yes yes you just said what Luke 12:51-53 stated. Look it up yourself. That's what it feels like but when you stay strong in the truth you will have many blessings and most of all your reward is eternal life waiting for you.

Every version of the Bible says the same.

Hell, what does the Bible say that it represents?
@dorcaso1619 There are several scriptures that describe Hell. Mostly as God's burning wrath or the complete absence of God. I like the book of Isaiah cause it tells not only of God's mercy but of his wrath. And the ultimate wrath from God is to be without him which is Hell.
@@dorcaso1619Hell is known as the grave as the Hebrews knew it. Hell as the greeks knew it was an eternally burning place.

New Jerusalem comes to earth in Rev too

4:53 Jesus is God's first creation: (Colossians 1:15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
(Revelation 3:14) “To the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ceʹa write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God:
5:24 Jesus not worshipped: (Matthew 4:10) Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”
_The Greek word for worship_ can also mean obeisance depending on context. We honor Jesus to the glory of God, who sent Jesus. Phil 2:11
6:00 Jesus' resurrection: 1 Cor 15:44 It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
_Jesus is the last Adam._
7:38 Jesus second coming: Jesus' coming generally refers to when Jesus come to judge and to bring Armageddon. What JW believe about 1914 it that Jesus was enthroned in God's kingdom in that year, thus, beginning his "presence" in kingdom power. The end of the gentile times. (Matthew 24:3) While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
8:44 Holy spirit is not a person. (Acts 2:33) Therefore, because he was exalted to the right hand of God and received the promised holy spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you see and hear.
_Holy spirit was poured out on the disciples. As they were baptized with it._
9:57 There is no trinity: (1 Corinthians 8:6) there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him.
*Can a dead faith save?*
11:57 Only 144,000 go to heaven: (Revelation 14:3) And they are singing what seems to be a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, and no one was able to master that song except the 144,000, who have been bought from the earth.
(Revelation 5:9, 10) And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought people for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”
_These ones serve with Jesus as kings over the earth._
12:50 Humans do not have an eternal immortal soul: JW believe we are a soul.
Take your verses for instance:
JWs rip Col 1:15 out of context so they can claim he is a creation, failing to look at the entire sentence.
@@BasicBiblicalTruth You said "JWs are not Christians because they reject the true Jesus and accept a Jesus of their own imaginations."
Is this my imagination? (1 Corinthians 8:6) there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him.
That is what I believe. Do you?
(Matthew 16:16) Simon Peter answered: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
That is what I believe. Do you?
@@BasicBiblicalTruth You said "Paul tells us why he calls Jesus the firstborn OVER all creation."
Does he "tells" us "OVER" there?

We were having nice and lovely relationship, she later starting back not more 3 months ago and after she started going back everything has fallen from we planning our marriage to break up given me some reasons the organisation teachers her. Please i really need help to help her out of this. I really ready for any support
Above comment. Good for her she came to her senses and to our loving father who sent the saviour for us.

They reject the trinity, therefore they cannot be Christian’s.
Trinity is not in the Bible . If it’s not in the Bible then it’s not true . Jesus is the son of God . 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 , Mathew 10:32

Two characteristics of a cult are:
They deny the deity of Jesus Christ.
They believe in a gospel of grace plus works.
People express God differently. As long as they are peaceful and not believing or teaching that outsiders will be burned forever or be destroyed simply for having somewhat different beliefs, it is fine with me.
Jesus warned of hell more than anyone else.
Definitely a CULT, absolutely no other way to describe that awful mind-controlling circus.
Jehovah’s heavenly kingdom was established in 1914 Jesus has not returned again. The signs were given that we would know the signs of his return.
So what you’re saying is it’s false??
God's Heavenly kingdom has always existed....God has always been on the throne.Even before Christ came...look it up. Jesus will receive the kingdom after He returns to get His people to rule with. Check in Daniel about the Acient of Days.

Thank you pastor for this video. Very clear. I had once an interaction with two young ladies. Disappointing explanations. Very little bibleverses were mentioned to state why JWs are wrong. Nor did you use empathetic language - you seem to not even have checked why JWs believe what they believe from scripture (they quote scripture a LOT). I see this response. As far as John 1:1
The Word has been changed to Jehovah.
Im not sure how Acts 28:6 relates to John 1:1
They say that Paul was a god?
You said "limitations on marrying outside the organization,"
So, you do not have an issue with JW alone, but with the Bible counsel altogether.

Case in point, you'll explain to me the verse I'll quote, you or someone else, you'll explain it away because you don't believe it qnd you'll call me non Christian because I do believe it exactly as it reads, in Exodus 7:1 God says the following to Moses:
"And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet"

JWs have killed people with false teachings. And covered up child s** abuse. What do you think this organization is, if not a deadly cult?
JWs are a cult.
And here is what the JW masters have stated about themselves: They have openly declared that your attitude toward and treatment of them - NOT Christ, THEM - will be the determining factor as to whether you will have the possibility of maybe gaining salvation one day or not:
Watchtower 81/8/1 26 Harvesting in the "Time of the End" “Your attitude toward the wheatlike anointed “brothers” of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be the determining factor as to whether you go into “everlasting cutting-off” or receive “everlasting life."
