Well done and well explained. You've got total teacher vibes, with your calm and clear explanations of what's happening. I ran across one of those pins in a second hand lock once...but I don't think I've successfully picked it yet!

Thank you very much! I love teaching; in another life that would have been my profession... teaching music, photography, literature, lock picking... who knows?!
And, I hope that this video helps with that lock that has barrel pins in it!

Thanks so much for this video. I'm picking the ASSA Max+, and it does have counter-milling, and both the barrels and the CM are kicking my butt. Thanks to you, I have a solid plan. Subbed.

Ah the stock lock challenge 😆. It’s fun to throw those Assa barrels into locks and see how much harder they are to pick. Nicely done Pugs! Great explanation and video! ✌🏻🌶

Did you do that to me on purpose?! LOL! I totally thought it was gonna be an easy pick until I felt pins dropping when I was setting other pins.

I do remember taking to you that I was going to send one to slow you down on picking time 😆. It a good challenge to learn these pins even in a lock that doesn’t have them. ✌🏻🌶

Hah! That's right! I forgot about you saying that. Well, that one took me fifteen-ish minutes to work out the first time. Same with the Everest loaded with spools and a T-pin.
      Thank you, Brother!

It's a Neewer super clamp with a double ball end magic arm. It's a my photography grip equipment crossing over into my lockpicking life.

Hey awesome pick, where did you get that tool, for unscrewing the tail caps?

Hey, Loki! It's a Lock Monkey end cap removal tool. It only works on Schlage cylinders, but there similar tools for kwikset and others. I got it off of Locksmith Keyless.

@pugspickslocks sweet thank you, I usually just hold the pin down with a pick, and get a quarter turn before my pick slips, and the pin pops up lol.

Yep. I had the same situation!
