Just received mine also, fantastic piece of kit. It has really took the experience to the next level. Thanks for the guide, it has helped me alot with setting it up. I am struggling to setup the autopilot configuration on the quadrant with a320neo. A few of the selectors don't seem to function. I have tried with a two engine prop and it works fine, following the instructions from your other video.

Thanks for all your videos Mark. Personally I disagree with the config for the A320. The thrust leavers look and operate more like the ones you get in the general aviation box, than the commercial leavers, which would be more suited to the ones you see in a boeing 747. In the A320 you don't have the small reverse thrust leavers on top of the main levers. You initiate reverse thrust by pulling the main throttle leavers down beyond the detent. You also have the red go around button on the A320 which you get on the general aviation levers.
Hi, I have now purchased the throttle pack - airbus for the bravo TQ from Honeycomb. The throttles do have a lever on them, as does the real world A320, although they are considerably smaller than the boeings. See here ua-cam.com/video/Z-PPxDMUzoU/v-deo.html
This works perfectly! Now, have you figured out how to map the beacon, nav, and taxi lights properly? Strobes and landing lights work great, but the other three are making me insane! (Well, that may actually be my wife, but those 3 light bindings aren't helping LOL...)
Hi, for some bindings, to map correctly you need to do the following.....switch in off position.....move it to on whilst scanning and then back to off before it registers correctly.

@@SimHangerFS Here's what I mean. This works: (Switch 7, the far right) Landing Lights Off mapped to button 47. Landing Lights On mapped to button 46. When you flip the switch up, landing lights come on. When you go down, they turn off. THIS, however, does NOT work: Switch 6, second from the right) Taxi Lights Off mapped to button 45. Taxi Lights On mapped to button 44. When flipping the switch, nothing happens. Ditto for Nav and beacon, but landing and strobes work properly. Now, clearly something is broken, because when setup as above, it SHOULD work, but it doesn't. But I'm working if there's a workaround until Asobo (I guess it's them who needs to fix it?) gets it straightened out from a software perspective. I actually hope we're wasting electrons here, because I'm hoping Sim Update 3 will fix it (is that still due tomorrow? (March 2nd, 2021)), but I have no idea if that's on the list of fixed items...
@@kevykevTPA from what you are describing my first guess would be you have something else configured to the desired action and it is preventing the switch from carrying out the correct action once configured. Check all other bindings AND default settings for the BTQ. is this configured already to another switch? If not then I would delete profiles and re-download the MSFS drivers from Honeycomb. I don’t have this problem. Hope you get it sorted. Regards
Really like the videos…very clear and very useful. Question…you mentioned setting the switches on the bravo panel to cabin lights, panel lights, etc. You mentioned fuel pumps as one switch to set but I don’t know which element to bind it to. Please tell me which one you use.
Mark - Great "How To" presentations!!! I have used many; and am especially grateful for those for the BTQ. An open question (that perhaps I have overlooked the answer); how can I "back up" my BTQ profiles? Is it possible? With the Nordic World Update install today, all my BTQ profiles somehow got "scrambled" and I'd like to prevent that from happening again after I rebuild all of them. Thanks!!!!!!!
Your video helped me greatly but I can not get the flaps configured for some reason. I set it the way you did but the flaps go to 25 degrees and that's it. Also, I do not have anything in the Decrease/increase flaps windows. Do I have to have them set like I see in your settings? I would also like to know how to set Flap increments 1,2,3 and 4 Thanks
Hi Mark, I learned a lot from your videos. Great videos and very instructive. I was setting the Reverse for the Cessna Citation using the normal levers and pull the levers completely to activate the reverse. If I use the white knobs with the special reverse levers what do I use the switch on the bravo button 26 and 27 for? Originally I set this up same like the TBM 930. Anything I should be aware of or can be done both ways? Thank you. Would love to see a video from you on "how to" for Cessna Citation Longitude
im setting my honeycomb up , i used throttle axis, en spoiler axis, when my throttels are down, the spoiler lever works fine, but when i got my throttle al up, the spoiler lever moves up with the throttle levers, and the spoilers keep in down position, when i pul the lever to up position the spoilers keep going back in down position. do you have any idea what that is? kind regards.
@@SimHangerFS i found the issue, i looked on internet, and i ended up on a page from a real boeing airline plane where they showed and explained, when you on the ground or go into a go arround when you throttle up as a safety feature youre spoiler wil g up to into the down position. so i thought, what the hack lets try it, and indeed its correct, when you airbourn the spoiler lever works just fine. and when you on the ground, the lever move up to down position with the throttle if you open up. (i fly the 747-800 default.
Hi Mark, such a great tip on setting up reverse throttle for A320 (two key combo approach). I have one question on speed brake. Is there anyway to set up the "arm" speed brake action in Bravo Throttle? Currently, the level only slides the speed brake up and down. Thanks!
Hi there. My Reverse lever on engine 1 does not register at all. If I take lever two and fit it on the engine 1 axis then it works with the engine two lever. If i then fit lever two to the engine 1 axis then engine 1 reverser works. Could this be a bad lever or something else? Thank you.
Hi Mark, I am rather new to MSFS and extremely new to Airbus as I have always flown the PMDG 737 in Prepar3D. I have no problem setting up some GA and the Salty 747 but I am struggling with the throttles on the Fly by Wire A320. Perhaps it is different to the default A320 in terms of control assignments? Basically no matter what throttle option I chose, be it throttle axis 1 or the 0 - 100% option the thottles in the sim move right through the max thottle to max reverse when I move the Bravo levers from 0 - 100. Placing the Bravo lever at 0 results in full reverse. I have tried an edited copy of the 747 profile, I have also tried an editted copy of the default Bravo profile. It appears to work differently to your video. I appreciate your video was made over a year ago so perhaps the FBW aircraft or the sim has changed. I have a trial copy of FSUIPC (expires on the 10th) and assigning throttle 1 and 2 levers in it and deleting in the sim creates other issues, the full movement of the levers causes those in the sim to only move between the CL and TOGA positions. I cant make it move to the A/THR range, not sure what this means as Im so new to Airbus. UPDATE: I have just tested your config on the default A320 NEO and it works fine so the issue must be with the latest Fly By Wire version. UPDATE 2: After some fuller Googling I have discovered the FBW has an option in the EFB with regards to the reverser being on the same axis as the throttle. Disabling it fixes the problem
Hi, yes the FBW set up is different. You need to use the EFB to set. This model also uses some LVARS so certain functions can not be assigned by default. My config is for the default A320Neo. Glad you got it sorted 👍
Hi Mark. I just got around to trying the setup for the A320 and it does not seem to work as you illustrate. On my system the decrease throttle (reverse) activates whenever the throttle is pulled all the way back no matter if the reverser lever is on or not. In the settings is displays as Button 11 + Button 27 (Throttle 1) but it appears to ignore the requirement for the combination of both switches. Is this a new bug or am I doing something wrong here.

Hi Mark, thanks for this useful video. Therefore I have something different from you with the reverse buttons. During the assignation, it won't reconize any of buttons 9 to 12. If I set them manually using the SELECT INPUT and go in the plane, pulling the reverse lever to down position won't activate the reveser until I push it back to up position. They seem inverted ? I’m trying to set up my jets on the bravo throttle quadrant and after being successful with props I’m having issues with the jets Spoilers are none functional and flaps are the same and I have no -100 to +100 setting available.. there is not that option just 0-100 I’ve watch the video several times and tried a lot of combinations but nothing is working Any help would be appreciated Thanks Mike
Hi Mark, I have another question. When setting up the Cessna Citation Longitude the +/- know used to change altitude etc seems to move the speed of the auto throttle at the same time when I reduce the altitude and or I set a Vertical speed negative. Somehow when I use the minus knob both altitude and Auto throttle speed go down 1 number at the same time like I am using it for both. Is there a conflict or should this be configured differently?
Sounds like a conflict. Check this in controls by searching via input. Once identified you can delete conflict. If not there then it is likely the activated default profile is corrupted. You will need to reinstall the MSFS config. Regards
Love your videos thank you however I just noticed when setting up my Bravo that the MS FS 2020 "Search By Input" does not work , For example when setting up A320 NERO ( or any input) , when i select the search but input i simply get the "! You are trying to assign an action to a device that is not selected" . Yet I am in the A320 Profile and Selected the "Throttle 1 Decrease" ( once again this happens for ALL inputs) - looked on forums etc unable to find anything. I am running latest updates ( April 22 2021) - Any idea why this might occur?
Hi Lance, not come across this one. Try plugging into different USB ports maybe....check calibration in Windows...does windows recognise it? Sorry really don’t know on this one.
@@SimHangerFS Thanks, have a new honey throttle, with the same issue’s.....for FSX steam. There was no download to fix the issues....so I am kinda stuck with a partial use of the throttle with no lights and no number two throttle......and of course no autopilot and switches.....and of course no UA-cam vids of FSX fix. So, you seem to be our only hope! A lot of people still fly FSX, ands wont switch over to 2020.
Thanks Mark for this extremely useful video. Everything is now set on my A32NX (assuming it behaves the same way as the A320 NEO) in MS Flight Simulator 2020. (1) Am I alone facing the problem that throttle moves from idele to TOGA (full power) & back, but I am unable to stop it at CL position (which is required in normal flying mode)? (2) The only way I can get back to idle out of reverse is by (a) moving reverse levers back in position) + moving throttle to full power & back to idle. Is this normal? @@SimHangerFS I am setup for -per your video- Joystick R-axis Z+ & Joystick R-axis Y+. And same bindings for reverse axis as on the video. I have checked several times with your video & am completely aligned. I can't figure out what's wrong.
@@thierrygnych6501 I am also not sure what is wrong. All I can suggest is you check for any conflicting bindings....is another axis or switch conflicting with the function. Alternatively delete profile and recreate from default again. Regards
@@SimHangerFS I understand that it is difficult to figure out without seeing. I am still posting, in case someone else faced the same issue. I noticed that following your procedure selects in my case Joystick R-Axis Z+ (instead of Axis Z) for throttle 1. And Joystick R-Axis Y+ (instead of Y) for throttle 2. Could Z+ & Y+ be more of a toggle on/off type of profile while Z & Y are progressive ones? Then comes my second challenge: when trying to select Z & Y from the drop down menu, I am getting a warning that such a selection is not authorised for this. Wondering, both why & how to resolve. In case someone knows. PS. I received the Throttle bravo Quadrant one week ago.

Hi Kyle, it is there….with your bravo selected in the controls options use search by name….type in flaps….this should bring up what your looking for. Hope it helps.

Hi mark, I just recive my honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant and I try to configure it for a 4 engine jet. I follow your video step by step but when i want to set the reverse thrust only 3 are working(buttons 9,10,12). I went to set throttle 3 decrease to button 11 but msfs don't reconize this button. The only way to set this button it's by select an input and choose joystick button 11. But it's not working in game. Do you have a solution for that?
Not sure what the problem may be. Make sure there is no other binding mapped to this button/key. Reconfigure it by moving into the reverse range and back out again. It should register and scanning box not be greyed out. Did you do the throttle fix? Regards
I try different thing but nothing work so i contact honeycomb and i wait for a reply. I try to change the stick 3 in position 4 and it doesn't work either but the stick 4 work in position 3. I try the throttle bug fix but that doesn't fix it. I will wait honeycomb reply to see what's the problem. Thanks for your help!

Does the brilliant configuration of A320 neo that you showed, work for Fly By Wire A32nx version?
Not completely as the FBW uses some Lvars that are non-standard.

You have a config conflict. Search by input on both spoiler and throttle.

Can you please explain how your altitude moved in 100 increments? Mine moves in 1000s.
Just luck I’m afraid, turn the knob slowly initially and it will go up in 100’s for a short time. Asobo bug still to be fixed. Regards

Yes this is now how buttons work…move to register and bind….move to out of press to validate. Note start with the button not activated.

Hi I’m just wondering how I can fix the reverse thrust on my honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant because it just freezes the game only when I try to activate it if you know how to fix it please let me know
Check you haven’t got multiple assignments to reverse. Also check reverse is allocated to an active axis
I still have my HDG and ALT LED's on. I cannot turn these off when pressing the respective buttons on the Bravo :-(
That’s not right. Perhaps uninstall and reinstall the main and latest driver.
I’m having an issue with the neo at around 40% it goes right into reverse thrust and I don’t even have it deployed for that idk how to fix this please help
Check calibration in windows.
I’m trying to set up my jets on the bravo throttle quadrant and after being successful with props I’m having issues with the jets
Spoilers are none functional and flaps are the same and I have no -100 to +100 setting available.. there is not that option just 0-100
I’ve watch the video several times and tried a lot of combinations but nothing is working

Hi Mark, I have another question. When setting up the Cessna Citation Longitude the +/- know used to change altitude etc seems to move the speed of the auto throttle at the same time when I reduce the altitude and or I set a Vertical speed negative. Somehow when I use the minus knob both altitude and Auto throttle speed go down 1 number at the same time like I am using it for both. Is there a conflict or should this be configured differently?
Sounds like a conflict. Check this in controls by searching via input. Once identified you can delete conflict. If not there then it is likely the activated default profile is corrupted. You will need to reinstall the MSFS config. Regards

Love your videos thank you however I just noticed when setting up my Bravo that the MS FS 2020 "Search By Input" does not work , For example when setting up A320 NERO ( or any input) , when i select the search but input i simply get the "! You are trying to assign an action to a device that is not selected" . Yet I am in the A320 Profile and Selected the "Throttle 1 Decrease" ( once again this happens for ALL inputs) - looked on forums etc unable to find anything. I am running latest updates ( April 22 2021) - Any idea why this might occur?
Hi Lance, not come across this one. Try plugging into different USB ports maybe....check calibration in Windows...does windows recognise it? Sorry really don’t know on this one.
What about us flying FSX steam?
I hope to do a config guide at some point in the future for P3D. Should be fairly similar to the FSX requirements. Regards
@@SimHangerFS Thanks, have a new honey throttle, with the same issue’s.....for FSX steam. There was no download to fix the issues....so I am kinda stuck with a partial use of the throttle with no lights and no number two throttle......and of course no autopilot and switches.....and of course no UA-cam vids of FSX fix. So, you seem to be our only hope! A lot of people still fly FSX, ands wont switch over to 2020.
@@jzatofl9546 you should be able to fix the throttle 2 issue by simply reassigning it in FSX and saving it asa new profile. Regards
Thanks Mark for this extremely useful video. Everything is now set on my A32NX (assuming it behaves the same way as the A320 NEO) in MS Flight Simulator 2020. (1) Am I alone facing the problem that throttle moves from idele to TOGA (full power) & back, but I am unable to stop it at CL position (which is required in normal flying mode)? (2) The only way I can get back to idle out of reverse is by (a) moving reverse levers back in position) + moving throttle to full power & back to idle. Is this normal? Hi, it sounds to me as if you have the wrong set up on your axis or you have a conflicting binding on the throttles somewhere. Regards
@@SimHangerFS I am setup for -per your video- Joystick R-axis Z+ & Joystick R-axis Y+. And same bindings for reverse axis as on the video. I have checked several times with your video & am completely aligned. I can't figure out what's wrong.
@@thierrygnych6501 I am also not sure what is wrong. All I can suggest is you check for any conflicting bindings....is another axis or switch conflicting with the function. Alternatively delete profile and recreate from default again. Regards
@@SimHangerFS I understand that it is difficult to figure out without seeing. I am still posting, in case someone else faced the same issue. I noticed that following your procedure selects in my case Joystick R-Axis Z+ (instead of Axis Z) for throttle 1. And Joystick R-Axis Y+ (instead of Y) for throttle 2. Could Z+ & Y+ be more of a toggle on/off type of profile while Z & Y are progressive ones? Then comes my second challenge: when trying to select Z & Y from the drop down menu, I am getting a warning that such a selection is not authorised for this. Wondering, both why & how to resolve. In case someone knows. PS. I received the Throttle bravo Quadrant one week ago.
@@thierrygnych6501 just a thought....are you trying to move the throttles with auto throttle or toga engaged?
Hi great video but do you have a video for P3D? Appears alot of people (including myself) are having issues with P3D.
P3D is quite a challenge. I will be doing a config guide once I have figured it out myself. Regards

If I set reverse axis .. throttles in sim work the opposite
Check or uncheck the reverse axis box next to the assigned axis in the control options.
I can not validate it - when I select both Buttons in A30Neo setting it does not let me confirm the settings!!???!??
Move the buttons on and off again to validate. Sometimes I find you need to do this.

I can not even exit back to the menu, I am stucked and need the task manager to restart again :-(
@@GSKGolfSimulatorSystems sounds like something is corrupted. You may need to uninstall and install the Honeycomb drivers again.
I cannot find the flaps axis -100-100. My only option is 0-100. And my max setting is 15% flaps with that.
Hi Kyle, it is there….with your bravo selected in the controls options use search by name….type in flaps….this should bring up what your looking for. Hope it helps.
@@SimHangerFS thanks for the reply, but I had tried that and still didn't see it. I even typed in -100, and brought up all the options that had it listed and flaps wasn't listed. Very peculiar.

Hi mark, I just recive my honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant and I try to configure it for a 4 engine jet. I follow your video step by step but when i want to set the reverse thrust only 3 are working(buttons 9,10,12). I went to set throttle 3 decrease to button 11 but msfs don't reconize this button. The only way to set this button it's by select an input and choose joystick button 11. But it's not working in game. Do you have a solution for that?
Not sure what the problem may be. Make sure there is no other binding mapped to this button/key. Reconfigure it by moving into the reverse range and back out again. It should register and scanning box not be greyed out. Did you do the throttle fix? Regards
I try different thing but nothing work so i contact honeycomb and i wait for a reply. I try to change the stick 3 in position 4 and it doesn't work either but the stick 4 work in position 3. I try the throttle bug fix but that doesn't fix it. I will wait honeycomb reply to see what's the problem. Thanks for your help!
There is no flaps -100 to 100%.... in current MSFS 2020 I used the flaps Axis then had to check the reverse axis for them to work correctly

Getting tired of videos on product that general public has no access to....been trying to buy one for 3 months....never available....they gave them all away to you tubers.
Orders placed with Honeycomb, (according to their website) are shipping 6th Feb to customers. I agree the delays have done Honeycomb no favors though.
