As a Nordic, I feel like I have to comment on this: our licorice is very different than the junk they sell in other countries. It does not have that nasty bitterness to it, it is soft and quite mild even (varies of course). It's not dry either!
There is better quality black licorice in the us too, twizzlers is a cheap candy brand. But I definitely enjoyed black licorice when I went to Denmark and Finland! I had some delightful chocolate licorice and salty licorice in Denmark.
Good quality licorice tastes kinda like coffee mixed with chocolate and salt to me but also has an earthiness and herbal aroma to it. I really liked it when i was in sweden

I feel the coconut one - somehow not a fan of dessicated coconut mixed into chocolate desserts and sweets 😞 fresh and the kind found in kuih/kueh are tasty, but the ones hiding together with chocolate aren't my cup of tea, and its texture is quite distinct, which makes it hard to close one eye to continue eating

I don't know if you know but Hershey's has the Special Dark Cocoa powder. I use it in place of the regular Cocoa powder. Oatmeal Boil Cookies are so much more fudgy and rich without being too sweet.

the video before this was a guy teaching that, to eat raw onions and actually enjoy it, you just have to put them in a bowl with water and ice and leave it for 20 minutes. it’s not gonna be spicy and pungent like before, and the crunch is crazy. so much better for burguers, salads or whatever 😊
