said it exactly how it is brother im especially glad that lotus has a little bit for everyone like you said as apart from maybe omen it is hard to find a potential “must-pick” for the map in ranked meta interested to see how that variety of the map impacts proplay as i can definitely see potential in a lot of different agents on lotus
I’ve never thought of the gimmicks of maps other than bind with tps, but this is a good point that you bring that riot isn’t afraid fo reuse other gimmicks, id enjoy more maps with tps and other parts from older and my favourite maps so glad they did this with lotus
i think this new map has a lot of corners and we have to play really carefully as an attacker!! in my opinion this map is really big and rotating from site to site is gonna be a little bit of a pain!!
split is still the same defender-sided map. I've played 3 games so far on the map, and every game the defenders would win 8 - 11 rounds on each half. I think they should add a new way of getting onto sites or add a third site.
imo, i wouldn't call lotus a big map, more like a wide stretched one. the sites are relatively far apart but the distance between T and CT spawns is ridiculously short to the point where i believe neon is going to thrive on that map. i think my greatest gripe with lotus however are the rotating doors. you cannot attach anything to them limiting creative use of them and they are insanely loud where just activating them would drown out any footsteps close by. viewing this as a cypher main, not being able to attach wires to them was a given but why am i not allowed to place cams on them. could you imagine how sick it would be to slap a cam on there and flip it to the other side
I think that's a fair point, I definitely had the most fun playing this map as Neon. As for the Util side of things, I think they kind of had to make the doors that way, right now the door break Sage's wall so you have to have better placement, a Cypher cam on a moving part of the map would be pretty strong, especially because you could push out mid, place a cam on the door, and then be able to use it as recon for A site as well. It definitely feels like it was done this way to have some sort of balance across the agents and how they interact with the doors.
thought this was a channel full of subscribers, well it will be if u keep this up!
You describe my current feeling towards lotus and the maps in general perfectly 👏🏼

Next map, no sites at all, try beating the game with that.
so team deathmatch? you can just play low elo lobbies for that
