Little Green Bag
Yeah
Looking back on the track
For a little green bag
Got to find just the kind
Or losing my mind
Outside in the night
Outside in the day
Looking back on the track
Gonna do it my way
Outside in the night
Outside in the day
Looking back on the track
Gonna do it my way
Looking back
Looking for some happiness
But there is only
Loneliness to find
Turn to the left
Turn to the right
Looking upstairs
Looking behind
Looking for some happiness
But there is only
Loneliness to find
Turn to the left
Turn to the right
Looking upstairs
Looking behind
Yeah
Looking back on the track
For a little green bag
Got to find just the kind
Or losing my mind
Outside in the night
Outside in the day
Looking back on the track
Gonna do it my way
.
You deserve a huge drift of compliments for this...world-wide.
It still sounds great I love the vocals
El mejor tema ,lo tengo en vinilo del año 70,todavía se escucha (2024) en mi tornamesa espectacular ‼️‼️‼️🎶🎶
Love ❤this tune!!🎶
The camera work is out of this world lol
I remember hearing this song over the radio in the 70's. I recently watched the movie Reservoir Dogs, and the quality of the recording, but more than that, the performance is just absolutely masterful. The way the bass line introduces the song, then the way the percussion and guitar join in are just exquisite. It's worth resetting the DVD to the beginning of the movie to hear the song again.
This is oart of the Soundtrack of my Misspent Youth... No Regrets!
The Simpsons too
Love this song ❤ hi from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Also love this song and in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 Hi 👋🏻
Such a brilliant song. The rest of his music is very different.

Always has been one of My Forever Songs, .. lyrics, beat.. Wicked jam.. i wire out my 45 in 77✌️
1970 grande
Loved this song senior year of high school! My friends did not hear what I did.
What an awesome masterpiece .💯💯
È del 1970, penso sia ancora favolosa. Ritmo intramontabile
Awesome!!
Love this song!
Best song EVER! Great bass riff- and that voice!
Yeah, his voice blows me away ! Wish I could sing that melodiously! Whoo!!
Bellissima❤. Fortunati coloro che hanno assistito all' esibizione dal vivo!
Song was written by George Baker (Johnnes Bouwens) and bass player Jan Visser.
Been LOVING this fine gem for many years
this band is awesome
siempre sono genial esta cancion recuerdos e mi infancia desde MIRANDA VENEZUELA.
Such a great voice, vocals are amazing! Shit hot style, come back already..
I remember this being played in Mexicali MX where I lived when I was like six years old and always stuck in my head. One day many years later found the song in a cell phone commercial and was so glad and happy. Soon after that I heard it on Reservoir Dogs, love the song and the movie. Such a classic song!!
"Live!"
SUUUUUUURE THING, CHAMP
The song isn’t live. This is the studio version.
Whatever! Awesome song 🎶!
At least we can see who plays what.
The George Baker Selection back in 1970.
Funny words but great music and looove George Bakers voice x❤
🎼🤘 Very cool tune& performance❤
La basse, les instrus, la musique, le film tout est génial, merci pour ce live❤
Queste sono perle
I came here to see what the singer looked like. Don't think I've ever seen a video like this where the camera was pointed at everything but the singer for the most part.
yes not good
Wow era avanti Pesaro nel 70! Grande show!
cancion que nunca desaparecera mientras el mundo sea mundooo,,con ella me enamore del baile en años de joven rebelde...
love it. heard it back in 1970.xxx
great song
really like the vocal style on the "do it my way" part
What a classic. Bass not plugged in. Drunk cameraman constantly on the wrong thing, but seems to like the drummer. Lip syncing without much expression. Ahh, the 70's... The song stands the test of time. The video, not so much.
Heard this on Gordon Ramseys show.. I remember it in the 70's on the radio. great song.
+Richard Woods I heard it there too. Originally I heard it on Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs. Great Song.
The singer definitely found a little grren bag for this video -ͺ-
It is not live.butiful song.❤❤❤❤
That was George baker little green bag on k Billy’s super sounds of the 70s were we keep on trucking
I f*%#king love this song.
+Cynthia Perkins Me Two. Now this how a bass guitar is supposed to sound.
There were many live recordings from this time and earlier that weren't primitive. Consider Woodstock, Shindig, Ed Sullivan and others. Lips synching was quick and easy.
Okay people it's obviously recorded live .. with a edited song playing over it ,
You can see the audience .. How ever back in the day P.A systems speaker's are what they used some time .which obviously didn't take well to sound good on film .
using a little Hammond M series organ , always liked this song
Thanks uploader; shame about sudden end...
Me gusta ésa canción pero me gustaría ver el vídeo completo
Don't you just know when you hear class !!
L I V E ...................
During the opening bass solo the camera ignores the bassist to focus on the guitarist counting beats
The sound aint recorded live.
Tanauan dauh!!!! No shit
Reservoir Dogs ❤️
The singer sounds like Jackie Wilson. I would never have imagined that he and the band would be white and Dutch.
I have to wonder just what is the camera operator thinking while filming this group. Did he have something going on with the drummer ? He most definitely saw no reason to film the guitarist. Thank God that era of music video is over, I for one want to see each member showcased.
Curiosity...what brought you to this particular video ?
Me ? I was watching Reservoir Dogs.
Not live but lip syncing was quite normal for artists/bands in 70's.
Awww, the babe on the horse isn't here....sigh.
Cruising tunes
What happened to the end of the song?
I wonder if Jan Visser used the old Precision bass on the studio recording. It sounds to me as if he used a pick in that session.
Kije Kuyo it sounds more like a picked hollow-body bass like a Hofner to me.
I think he used flat strings with pick on the studio recording
Do we not expect to learn it was the "Wrecking Crew" backing the vocals?
Here after re watching the beginning of “ reservoir dogs “.
Kaluuye
Studio Audio
Doesn't sound live recording to me. 🤔
Sad, not a ‘live’ version..... why clickbait????
"Live"
Live Exciting Version... as usually in that time.
🇮🇹
is this the same guy that sings that godawful paloma blanca that came out in 76?
The audio sure sounds like the released recording, and somebody sync'd it with this film. I'd rather hear what actually was being played at this concert.
ENG: It's not live, it's a playback, live the version wouldn't be so short... plus it sounds the same as the original version...
ESP: No está en vivo, es playback, en vivo no sería tan corta la versión... además suena igual a la versión original....
Sucks that it's not live
Cool but sounds like the record more than live.
Cantan igualitos que el original.
We know where tom jones gets his inspiration
what could this green bag possibly be? hmmm...
What it could be is a misprinting on the original single. It was supposed to be little greenback... the US dollar.
NOT 'live'!
its incomplete bro and no live
And just for the record this is not live totally studio recording while lip-syncing... let's get it straight in the title
lip synching was the norm during this era since live recording was so primitive and shitty sounding, they were basically doing us a favor by synching it.
So what?
80 million
More Cowbell? No, More Reverb!
ANDREW GOLD ON BASS ?
Best song from history ROck!!!!!!
Do I SOUND like Im fuckin jokin?? Vics driving around with a fuckin COP in his trunk!
Love this song but this is not live 🤣 it's the studio recording played over a live performance. Nice try though 😊
This is not live!
Doesn't sound like live to me.
Lip synch. I could go look for an AM radio and get the same thing.
very bad camera work
I just don't think this is George singing this imo It sounds like someone else, not George.
They're Alive! - It’s George
I know that voice anywhere. This is the real McCoy!
Gosh, I must've been in a blackout when I wrote this. I don't remember what I was thinking, that's for sure. Cheers!
Haha. Not live
Lip-synch? Identical to the original recording.
Dude did not sing that song, y'all people always trying to psych somebody
Fraud, George Baker did not sing Little Green Bag, they never put the camera on him when he's singing the song, and his lips sink stinks, I don't believe he sang the song, sound like somebody who can sing like Jackie Wilson.
You said lip sink
Matter powers This version is definately lip sync but george baker (real name: hans bouwens) is the singer 100%. They were a great band from The Netherlands in the 70s and had some other hits too.
@@hansolo2121 I know you're right
Live? Live my ass, they’re lip syncing. Great song but it’s not live
