Dunno if anyone cares but I just hacked my girlfriends Instagram account by using Instaplekt. You can find it by Googling for Instaplekt password hacker ;)
I loved this tutorial and it is what made me learn Houdini! Although I am having a problem with this code? Does this code work for Houdini 19? I am getting an error on the R for some reason and it is not working. Is there possibly a different code or am I doing something wrong?
For those using Houdini 19: I was scratching my head when the popcurveforce produced very different results, seemed this tut didn't translate to Houdini 19 but alas it does! Bought the Hip file and when i opened it in Houdini 19 it converted some of the settings. If you want to to work use the following settings in your popcurveforce: Air Resistance: 1 Max Influence Radius: .5 Follow Scale: 2 Suction Scale: 3 Orbit Scale: 1 Inherit Velocity Scale: 0
Wow I really wish I would have known about you way before when you started you are godly.. hahah I really appreciate the effort that you make in order to share your skills with us, Your videos are hugely underrated and high quality.
Hi. Dunno why but with your settings my particles look more spreaded out and overall their burst is shorter (for the same 100 frames). Did you changed something inbetween around 6:48 minute or is it Houdini 18.5 calculating it in a different way?
Hey! I had the same problem but I think i found solution. In the pop curve force settings I changed follow scale to 40, suction scale to 2 and orbit scale to 10. Then in mesh geo, in particle fluid surface settings I raised particle separation to get more ''fluid mesh'' between particles.
Great tutorial! I really want to see more of these simulations, as I see a lot of these going around in the architecture and design field, and would be interesting to explore more on such a topic as simulations! Looking forward to your future simulations!
Great work mate, i would add one node after DOP I/O, and that would be a file cache node to cache the particles sim and speed up the meshing process... just my 2 cents ;)
great tut. question. after the m esh is made and played through-- should this be cached and playback at normal speed? mine is playing back as a slow rate still?
Check the falloff tabs on the popcurveforce node. Mine a had ramps for each force parameter going from 1 to 0. So I clicked the cog icon and selected the "constant" preset for each ramp.
My render view is not showing the matrial color. Mesh is coming white, no matter what. Also file cache is too big and slower than non cache. Any help ?
You need to provide some details here. You are rendering the scene in Houdini Itself ? What renderer you ae using ? Have you applied the material properly ? file cache size depends on the particle separation value.
@CGArtistAcademy Yes, I am rendering it with Mantra, also used the Basic Fluid node in materials and pasted it in the meshing node render SOP. In view port the color is coming, but not in render view, also in render view the mesh is looking like small multiple spheres tangled together. I want it to look like CocaCola. Can it be done with Particle Emmission and not Popfluid ? Also I had to toggle some values of suction, flow, etc, or else it's getting scattered. I am using Houdini 18.5.351.
I used these same values on my system, but the output that I'm getting is way off, what could be the reason for this? I'm pretty new to the software, would appreciate if you revert on this
@@piast_kolodziej yess I did that, did some R&D and that helped, but still wondering how he got the same result without changing those parameters, anyway thanks for your reply, appreciate it! Have a good day

Man, this is amazing! But I use Blender for render. Can you render this scene (or another) in Houdini and explain to us?
Apologies for the delayed response, you can export the mesh as alembic and use it in any DCC application. I hope this helps.
