Subhanallah! I also get these kind of was was quite often even during the prayer. It makes me feel horrible, and humiliated in front of my maker😥 I wonder why the dirty thoughts and in the prayer?!! But with this message, Alhamdulillah I am relieved, although it’s scary! I pray and ask Allah to forgive all of us, have mercy and protect us, Ameen

If those thoughts are too much and effecting your life then visit a muslim psychologist and also if required take medication ..every person responds differently to treatment and your doctor will find the best treatment that works for you

"Ya mukallabal kulube sabbit kulni ala deenika" our Nabi used to recite this dua daily to secure his deen and we should also recite this regularly so that Allah make our hearts firm on our Islam and protect from evil
1. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.” 2. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) 3. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari) 4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim) 5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani) 6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI) 7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad] 8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi] 9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi] 10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud] 11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi] 12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim] 13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad] 14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].” 15. Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward: Subhan-Allah Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zenatee ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)
Dhikr and tasbih from the Sunnah "Say always: la ilaha illallah." سُبْحَانَاللّهِوَبِحَمْدِهِ- SubhanAllah wa biHamdihi (glory be to Allah and Praise Him). Whoever says (the above) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea.[Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071] 2. سُبْحَانَاللّهِوَبِحَمْدِهِ- SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Shall I tell you the words that Allah loves the most?" I said: "Yes, tell me, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The words dearest to Allah are: subhanAllah wa bihamdihi”. [ Muslim and at-Tirmidhi.] 3. سُبْحَانَاللّهِالْعَظِيمِوَبِحَمْدِهِ- SubhanAllahi 'l-`adheem wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah, The Supreme, and Praise Him) A palm tree is planted for the reciter [of the above] in Paradise.[at-Tirmidhi; 5:511, al-Hakim] 4. سُبْحَانَاللّهِوَبِحَمْدِهِ،سُبْحَانَاللّهِالْعَظِيمِ- SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme) Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One." [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071] 5. سُبْحَانَاللّهِ- SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) Whoever recites [the above] one Hundred times, a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped away.[Sahih Muslim; #4:2073.] 6. لاحَوْلَوَلاقُوَّةَاِلَّابِاللّهِ- La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah) [the above is] a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.[Sahih al-Bukhari; al-Fath al-Bari #11:213, Sahih Muslim #4:2076] 7. سُبْحَانَاللّهِ،والْحَمْدُللّهِ،وَلااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ،وَاللّهُاَكْبَرُ- SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest) The above are mentioned as the four most beloved words to Allah. It does not matter with which one of them is begun.[Sahih Muslim; #3:1685] Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Perform the enduring goods deeds (al-baaqiyaat al-SaliHaat) more frequently." They asked, "What are these enduring good deeds?" The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: Takbir [Allahu Akbar], Tahlil [la ilaha illallah], Tasbih [Subhan'Allah], alhamdulillah, and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. 8. سُبْحَانَاللّهِ،والْحَمْدُللّهِ،وَلااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ،وَاللّهُاَكْبَرُ- SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest) Prophet Muhammad (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said:“For me to say (the above) is dearer to me and all that the sun rises upon (ie the whole world).” [Sahih Muslim; #4:2072] 9. سُبْحَانَاللّهِ،والْحَمْدُللّهِ،وَلااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ،وَاللّهُاَكْبَرُ،وَلاحَوْلَوَلاقُوَّةَاِلَّابِاللّهِ- SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar, wa la Hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, There is no might or any power Except with Allah) (The above) are the good deeds which endure[al-baqiyaatuS-SaliHaat] 10. سُبْحَانَاللّهِ،والْحَمْدُللّهِ،وَلااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ،وَاللّهُاَكْبَرُ،وَلاحَوْلَوَلاقُوَّةَاِلَّابِاللّهِ- SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar, wa la Hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, There is no might or any power Except with Allah) Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said: "During the Night Journey I met Ibrahim (alayhis salam) who said to me: ‘O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your Community, and tell them that the Paradise is of pure land, its water is sweet, and its expanse is vast, spacious and even. And its seedlings are SubhanAllah, walhamdulilah, wa la ilaha ilAllah, waAllahu Akbar (the above).’” [at-Tirmidhi] 11. الْحَمْدُللّهِ- Alhamdulilah (All Praise is for Allah) - Verily the best supplication is (above). [Sahih Muslim; #4:2073] 12. لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ- La illaha ilAllah(u) (There is No God But Allah) Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said:"When a servant of Allah utters the words la ilaha illallah (there is no God except Allah) sincerely, the doors of heaven open up for these words until they reach the Throne of Allah, so long as its utterer keeps away from the major sins.” [at-Tirmidhi] 13. لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ- La illaha ilAllah(u) (There is No God But Allah) Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Renew your faith." "How can we renew our faith?" they asked. The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: "Say always: la ilaha illallah." [Ahmad] 14. لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُوَحْدَهُلاشَرِيكَلَهُ،لَهُالْمُلْكُوَلَهُالْحَمْدُوَهُوَعَلَىكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ- La illaha ilAllahu, waHdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul Mulku, wa lahul Hamd, wa Huwa ala kulli shaiy'in Qadeer (There is No God But Allah Alone, who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the raise, and He is Able to do all things) Whoever says the above ten times, will have the reward for freeing four slaves from the Children of Isma'il . [Sahih al-Bukhari; 7:67, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071] 15. لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُوَحْدَهُلاشَرِيكَلَهُ،لَهُالْمُلْكُوَلَهُالْحَمْدُوَهُوَعَلَىكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ- La illaha ilAllahu, waHdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul Mulku, wa lahul Hamd, wa Huwa ala kulli shaiy'in Qadeer (There is No God But Allah Alone, who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the raise, and He is Able to do all things) Whoever says the above one Hundred times, has the reward of freeing ten slaves, a hundred good deeds are recorded for him and a hundred bad deeds are wiped away and he has gained refuge from the devil that day until evening and none shall come with anything better except someone who has done more.[Sahih al-Bukhari; #4:95, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071] 16. أَسْتَغْفِرُاللَّهَالْعَظِيمَالَّذِيلاَإِلَهَإِلاَّهُوَالْحَيُّالْْقَيُّومُوَأَتُوبُإِلَيْهِ- Astaghfirullah al-'Adheemal-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih (I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy except Him, the Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him) Whoever says the above words, Allah will forgive him even if he deserted the army's ranks.[Abu Dawud 2:85, at-Tirmidhi 5:569] 17. اللَّهُمَّأَنْتَرَبِّىلاَإِلهَإِلاَأَنْتَ،خَلَقْتَنِىوَأنَاعَبْدُكَوَأنَاعَلَىعَهْدِكَمااسْتَطَعْتُ،أعُوذُبِكَمِنْشَرِمَاصَنَعْت،أَبُوءُلَكَبِنِعْمَتِكَعَلَىَّوَأبُوءُبِذَنْبىفَاغْفِرْلِىفإِنَّهُلاَيَغْفِرُالذُّنُوبَإِلَّاأَنْتَ- Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana 'ala ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, A'udhu bika min Sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u Laka bini'matika 'alaiya, wa Abu Laka bidhanbi faghfirli innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta (O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.) The above du'a is known as the Sayyid al-Istighfar and is the most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah. 1. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”
2. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
3. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari)
4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim)
5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad]
8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi]
9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi]
10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud]
11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi]
12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim]
13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad]
14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”
15. Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward: Subhan-Allah Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zenatee ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)

Whoever says (the above) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea.[Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]

Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Shall I tell you the words that Allah loves the most?" I said: "Yes, tell me, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The words dearest to Allah are: subhanAllah wa bihamdihi”. [ Muslim and at-Tirmidhi.]

سُبْحَانَاللّهِالْعَظِيمِوَبِحَمْدِهِ- SubhanAllahi 'l-`adheem wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah, The Supreme, and Praise Him)
A palm tree is planted for the reciter [of the above] in Paradise.[at-Tirmidhi; 5:511, al-Hakim]

سُبْحَانَاللّهِوَبِحَمْدِهِ،سُبْحَانَاللّهِالْعَظِيمِ- SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One." [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]

سُبْحَانَاللّهِ- SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah)
Whoever recites [the above] one Hundred times, a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped away.[Sahih Muslim; #4:2073.]
6.
لاحَوْلَوَلاقُوَّةَاِلَّابِاللّهِ- La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah)
[the above is] a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.[Sahih al-Bukhari; al-Fath al-Bari #11:213, Sahih Muslim #4:2076]

سُبْحَانَاللّهِ،والْحَمْدُللّهِ،وَلااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ،وَاللّهُاَكْبَرُ- SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest)
The above are mentioned as the four most beloved words to Allah. It does not matter with which one of them is begun.[Sahih Muslim; #3:1685]
Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Perform the enduring goods deeds (al-baaqiyaat al-SaliHaat) more frequently." They asked, "What are these enduring good deeds?" The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: Takbir [Allahu Akbar], Tahlil [la ilaha illallah], Tasbih [Subhan'Allah], alhamdulillah, and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

سُبْحَانَاللّهِ،والْحَمْدُللّهِ،وَلااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ،وَاللّهُاَكْبَرُ- SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest)
Prophet Muhammad (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said:“For me to say (the above) is dearer to me and all that the sun rises upon (ie the whole world).” [Sahih Muslim; #4:2072]

(The above) are the good deeds which endure[al-baqiyaatuS-SaliHaat]

سُبْحَانَاللّهِ،والْحَمْدُللّهِ،وَلااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ،وَاللّهُاَكْبَرُ،وَلاحَوْلَوَلاقُوَّةَاِلَّابِاللّهِ- SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar, wa la Hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, There is no might or any power Except with Allah)
Abd Allah ibn Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said: "During the Night Journey I met Ibrahim (alayhis salam) who said to me: ‘O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your Community, and tell them that the Paradise is of pure land, its water is sweet, and its expanse is vast, spacious and even. And its seedlings are SubhanAllah, walhamdulilah, wa la ilaha ilAllah, waAllahu Akbar (the above).’” [at-Tirmidhi]
11.
الْحَمْدُللّهِ- Alhamdulilah (All Praise is for Allah) - Verily the best supplication is (above). [Sahih Muslim; #4:2073]
12.
لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ- La illaha ilAllah(u) (There is No God But Allah)
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said:"When a servant of Allah utters the words la ilaha illallah (there is no God except Allah) sincerely, the doors of heaven open up for these words until they reach the Throne of Allah, so long as its utterer keeps away from the major sins.” [at-Tirmidhi]
13.
لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُ- La illaha ilAllah(u) (There is No God But Allah)
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Renew your faith." "How can we renew our faith?" they asked. The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: "Say always: la ilaha illallah." [Ahmad]
14.
لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُوَحْدَهُلاشَرِيكَلَهُ،لَهُالْمُلْكُوَلَهُالْحَمْدُوَهُوَعَلَىكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ- La illaha ilAllahu, waHdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul Mulku, wa lahul Hamd, wa Huwa ala kulli shaiy'in Qadeer (There is No God But Allah Alone, who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the raise, and He is Able to do all things)
Whoever says the above ten times, will have the reward for freeing four slaves from the Children of Isma'il . [Sahih al-Bukhari; 7:67, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]
15.
لااِلهَاِلَّااللّهُوَحْدَهُلاشَرِيكَلَهُ،لَهُالْمُلْكُوَلَهُالْحَمْدُوَهُوَعَلَىكُلِّشَيْءٍقَدِيرٌ- La illaha ilAllahu, waHdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul Mulku, wa lahul Hamd, wa Huwa ala kulli shaiy'in Qadeer (There is No God But Allah Alone, who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the raise, and He is Able to do all things)
Whoever says the above one Hundred times, has the reward of freeing ten slaves, a hundred good deeds are recorded for him and a hundred bad deeds are wiped away and he has gained refuge from the devil that day until evening and none shall come with anything better except someone who has done more.[Sahih al-Bukhari; #4:95, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]
16.
أَسْتَغْفِرُاللَّهَالْعَظِيمَالَّذِيلاَإِلَهَإِلاَّهُوَالْحَيُّالْْقَيُّومُوَأَتُوبُإِلَيْهِ- Astaghfirullah al-'Adheemal-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih (I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy except Him, the Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him)
Whoever says the above words, Allah will forgive him even if he deserted the army's ranks.[Abu Dawud 2:85, at-Tirmidhi 5:569]
17.
اللَّهُمَّأَنْتَرَبِّىلاَإِلهَإِلاَأَنْتَ،خَلَقْتَنِىوَأنَاعَبْدُكَوَأنَاعَلَىعَهْدِكَمااسْتَطَعْتُ،أعُوذُبِكَمِنْشَرِمَاصَنَعْت،أَبُوءُلَكَبِنِعْمَتِكَعَلَىَّوَأبُوءُبِذَنْبىفَاغْفِرْلِىفإِنَّهُلاَيَغْفِرُالذُّنُوبَإِلَّاأَنْتَ- Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana 'ala ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, A'udhu bika min Sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u Laka bini'matika 'alaiya, wa Abu Laka bidhanbi faghfirli innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta (O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.)
The above du'a is known as the Sayyid al-Istighfar and is the most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah. Whoever says it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with f
